My visit to Hi-Kent at Canterbury was superb. I was greeted by friendly, helpful staff, and most importantly, treated by Zoe, a knowledgeable, experienced, and fully qualified practitioner.
I now clearly understand my ear wax problem, how wax is best removed (suction), and how to minimise or even eliminate excessive ear wax build up.
All in all a great value for money service.

I had a visit at home and was given not only good service but good and helpful advice. I would thoroughly recommend this service and would have no hesitation in using them again.

Friendly staff who really know what they are doing. The ear exam was very thorough and the wax removal was incredibly effective. My hearing has really improved since my visit. I highly recommend this service.

Came for an ear exam and wax removal if needed, friendly staff on arrival, explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. Examined my ears, showed me the videos and explained the parts of my ear. Did not need wax removal, but got a lot of advice, staff very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Have shared their details with colleagues in my Work Disability Network as I highly recommend their services.

I have had excellent service from HiKent for many years, ever since I was diagnosed with Otosclerosis(progressive deafness).
Living alone and being deaf I have always welcomed their support.

We visited Hi Kent in Maidstone today for an ear check and wax removal. It sounds a simple thing but nonetheless very important for keeping our ears healthy and able to hear as well as possible. Zoe was so knowledgeable and explained exactly how the procedure would work, as well as taking photos/a video of the inner ear. We would definitely recommend going to Hi Kent for any concerns relating to ears as we were totally satisfied with the guidance and outcome.

The professionalism and understanding from Zoe who is so sympathetic to someone like me with hearing difficulties, I am so looking forward to the day my TV experience will be enhanced by the equipment available from Hi Tec.Thank you Zoe and Hi Tec

Zoe came out tonight I had bad wax in my ear she was very professional insightful and my ears are very good now. she did my sons too and explains in depth of the problem and after care and spur of the moment kindly did my partners too and gave him relief and advice highly recommended zoe to people suffering

I have been taking the lip reading course with Pat Tester through Hi Kent. Pat is an excellent teacher and makes the lessons interesting and she is very informative with her knowledge. I have gained an insight into lip reading and am now able to understand a lot more. I find I am not left out of conversations so often as I was and the lessons have been of tremendous benefit to me

The service is regular and consistent . When I’ve visited the hearing aid support in the past , they have had the tubing and batteries available that I needed . The service is based locally that is very easy for me to attend .

Whenever I need help or new batteries they are there. They renew the loop on my aids and they give good advice. Always friendly and helpful.

I had a very informative meeting with Zoe. She answered all my questions, even some I hadn’t asked. Excellent service.

I needed new batteries for my new hearing aids and went along to the office in Maidstone. The staff were exceptional with their advice on my new aids which I shall put to good use in the future. Also I received information leaflets which will be very helpful.
I felt they had time to talk and made me feel at ease.

We have known John at Hi Kent (Canterbury Kent), for many years now, and he has given us help and advice with such kindness and understanding. I am a long sufferer of Tinnitus, and this year, John suggested I saw a very good AUDIOLOGIST, to see if he could help.I now use some hearing aids which have incredibly reduced my perception of dreadful tinnitus., It has transformed my life now. During the day I am able to almost forget I have "Tinnitus", which is such a blessing. I know this might not help everyone, but I would urge anyone really suffering from this extremely debilitating condition to give it a try. Thank you John for helping me to give my life a little peace!

John has also been of great help to my husband with regard to his hearing loss, and give him the opportunity to try, and eventually use, special equipment enabling him to have the TV at any volume he liked, (not heard by me!) leaving me to use the TV volume to suit myself . A true life changer again.

I have struggled with conversations and I am now slowly managing to lip read and friends who are aware of my severe hearing loss now sit in front of me so I can follow the conversation and some who are more understanding give me content on the way. Hi kent have been marvellous and the courses have been really helpful. In addition they have provided me with a hearing loop to watch and listen to television and radio

Without this help I was really struggling. The Zoom lessons are very helpful. I feel I am not progressing as well as I hoped but without them I would be really lost.
The instructor is very good and gives clear and concise lessons.

Since finding out about Hi Kent they have helped me in so many ways. There are local groups to join that give you so much useful information. Through this I have got aids for my home which have helped enormously with my hearing loss, which I suffered as a result of surgery for a brain tumour. I have also attended lip reading classes which they provide free of charge which has not only been so very useful but has introduced me to a new group of friends. I can’t recommend Hi Kent highly enough & thank all the staff involved for helping me in what can be a very lonely & difficult situation.
