Our Representative John was first class, he made us very welcome by offering us a drink then explained about the company what it does for the hard of hearing showed us many products that he thought would be good for us.
showed us how they worked and even selected the best one for us. even the response to the supplier was very quick, first class.

I was given the full attention of the staff who listened to and help me analyse my hearing difficulties. I was able to discuss and to evaluate my situation with the NHS. As a result of this I have been able to formulate a course of action which, i hope, will help me to hear better

I've been a 'customer' of Hi-Ktent for 5 or 6 years, from the time that I first started wearing hearing aids. My first experience of them was just getting batteries, but 3 years ago this developed when I started to do weekly Zoom lipreading classes, tutored by Karen, which helps, although I'm not very good. Lastly, I now attend the monthly, social get together in Staplehurst, organised by Vicki. As a charitable organisation, I think that the service they provide is brilliant and the staff that I have come into contact with as first class.

As mum's GP practice no longer offers ear wax removal I contacted Hearbase who were happy to give an appointment for my mum but we would have had to travel to Ashford. Then popped into Hi-Kent in Canterbury (where we live) to get mum's hearing aids repaired - excellent customer service and prompt attention to that issue - and saw that they now offer ear wax removal. Was able to make a next day appointment (£50 for both ears - £20 cheaper than Hearbase) and all went very smoothly. Excellent service and great staff. Highly recommend.

Had to have wax removed from one ear, and was very stressed due to the problems using drops had caused (I have tinnitus). My Gp gave me Hikent's details. The receptionist was so helpful and understanding, and Zoe was amazing - caring, thorough and explaining the procedure every step of the way. A very professional service carried out in a sensitive manner.
Highly recommended.

First class service today - I needed new tubes and was worried I wouldn’t have my hearing aids for work. Thanks to Hi Kent, 60 children got a more confident, less anxious teacher today 😄
It means so much to be able to pop along, have a friendly chat somewhere where I feel welcome and get my aids fixed in time for work, rather than have to hand them in in an envelope and worry about being without them until I can pick them up. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s made a difference to me actually staying in work! And that’s not a small thing.

Usually I just get oh it’s the nature of your hearing loss there’s nothing we an do about it but I went to hi Kent in Canterbury and straight away they couldn’t have been more helpful she booked me in for hearbase to adjust my hearing aids on the following Monday and an appointment on Tuesday to see them about having loop installed which they are now doing thankyou so much for the extra help

I was referred to Hi Kent by our GP practice, regarding an issue with my mum's hearing aid. I couldn't believe that it was sorted and checked as we chatted! A chance comment led to Zoe carrying out a wax removal for my mum, aged 97. Zoe was incredible! My mum is very critical, but had nothing but gushing praise for Zoe. She was clear, explained everything until she was happy my mum understood, and was incredibly sensitive to my mum's worries and concerns. It was a tricky procedure, but was sorted in one visit and with minimum discomfort. Zoe instilled confidence in my mum, who didn't exoerience the side effects she had previously had with ear syringing. I was fascinated with the equipment and the whole thing and Zoe kindly accommodated that! Never patronising and totally professional I really cannot speak highly enough of Zoe and the whole team. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I went to Hi Kent in Canterbury because I needed help to hear the TV. We (my husband and I) met with Jon Lambert who went above and beyond to assist us and assess my needs. He spent time explaining things and totally understood the needs of a person in my position. Highly recommended if you’re having hearing problems, wear hearing aids or just need advice about your hearing. Brilliant!!

As usual, I had a very positive experience when visiting Hi Kent Canterbury office today. This time I needed help to re-tube my hearing aid. Although I usually do it myself, I was struggling to fit the tubing because it was the wrong size for my ear mould. The helpful volunteer explained cause of the problem, measured me for the tubing length and fitted it for me while I waited - all done in about five minutes. Thank you, Hi Kent!
