Amazing service. My mum needed to be seen as a matter of urgency and after quick phone call we went to the Canterbury branch - which is local to us. All dealt with swiftly with explanation and reassurance given throughout. I can’t rate them highly enough!

The representative from Hi Kent Canterbury, came and gave a presentation to our retirement group, covering all aspects of hearing loss and how Hi Kent could help, as well as providing information on other options. She also stayed on to answer individual questions. It was all very well received by everyone, and I would have no hesitation in recommending the organisation if you need information or help on the topic, or if you want an interesting subject for a group talk.

I was having problems with hearing the TV. I was recommended to Hi Kent Maidstone for advice. Staff were very helpful and showed me what equipment would benefit me even visiting my home to help install said equipment. Great service and especially the staff who went the extra mile to help me.

I found this charity through Age UK. I needed details of a phone that would help her as she is very hard of hearing.
I was able to see them as I was in Maidstone (you usually have to book) they offered me a referral for assessment to see how they can help her.
There website has so much to help the deaf and hard of hearing. It's true,you don't know till you ask

I had my ears checked and earwax removed. The young ladies were both very helpful and the lady that removed the earwax was very caring and careful.they told me about all the things I could get to help with my hearing loss,and to contact them if I needed advice.

We received a warm welcome at HI Kent, having booked for ear wax removal. Microsuction was a new experience which Zoe explained in detail so I would understand what she was going to do. This included showing me pictures of just how blocked both ears were - Zoe having thoughtfully checked first whether I wanted to see the images! Throughout the process she frequently checked whether I was comfortable, regularly reporting on progress. Zoe has such a warm, kind and friendly personality and is a skilled professional with the microsuction technique. I shall follow her advice to have my ears checked periodically and will look forward to returning to this charity.

I was delighted to discover that a home visit was possible; this really helped as my mother is 100 and would have found a trip to the premises stressful and difficult. Zoe came to the house, did a very successful wax removal on one ear and returned a few days later to complete the other. She was friendly, helpful and kind and the process was very efficient and quick. It was also incredibly good value. Many thanks

Booked my autistic son, who also has OCD for an ear check up as we had noticed he was not responding to us unless we raised our voices. The appointment with the reception assistant was friendly and easy. The appointment with Zoe for the check up and the subsequent ear wax removal was excellent. She explained to my son in a calm and reassuring manner how the process would operate, what to expect and to let her know straight away if he was concerned or feeling any pain. His ears were very blocked but Zoe removed all the wax in the one session while keeping my son calm. I would have no hesitation in recommending the service.

My father in law is 93, with limited mobility and hearing impairment. He finds it challenging to leave the house for appointments. HI Kent completed a home visit to offer a de waxing service for his ears. This allowed to receive treatment in the comfort of his own home and not exhaust himself with travelling to an appointment. He will now be able to have a hearing test for hearing aids. This is a positive and well supported first step towards better communication for him. The staff were polite, kind and flexible to suit his needs. Thank you very much.
