HMDPublishing  Reviews

I originally went with a different publisher for my book and literally everything went wrong. HMD publishing took the broken pieces of my first edition, completely fixed everything, and made it look professional and perfect. They literally saved the day. In addition to their wonderful work, they are also wonderful to work with. They are patient, kind, attentive, and helpful.

Used HMD Publishing via Fiverr for the first time, and one thing that stood out to me was the quality and promptness of their communication and replies and how willing they were to undergo constant revisions by me just to get it right. Great communication is hard to come by these days. They were even on standby via chat while I was double checking the final files as I was on a time crunch. Very much appreciated. I used their book formatting service.

I really wanted to have a good experience with this company. I was looking for ongoing pre-press services and submitted 3 books to start. I've been in this business for 20-plus years so I'm very familiar with the backend process. I followed their submission instructions exactly and somehow, all the specs got mixed up on the backend, even though three different submission sheets were completed per their request. So I canceled two of the projects and went back to one book. There were still so many mistakes along the way. The book was made the wrong size, alignment issues, images not greyscaled, and in the end, the file was not set up properly for printing and distribution. It was supposed to be a two-week turnaround that took months. I had to start all over with another service provider to get it right. When I addressed it, the issue was turned around on me, instead of them taking responsibility. They said something like, "We can only work with what you gave us." Yes, and your job is to make what I gave you into print-ready files, and if that's not possible, to inform me right away, not months later. So, anyway, it was a complex project so maybe something super simple would have had a different outcome. My other service provider had it handled in a week.

HMD delivered what it promised. The team is solid and has been patient with me delivering on time.

HMDPublishing has been great to work with.
Detail-oriented; on-time delivery; help requests responded to in a timely fashion.

I worked with Hammad & his team on the production of my book, Build, Scale, Sell. Everyone I dealt with were knowledgeable, informed and eager to help. Would have no hesitation in recommending HMD Publishing

I found these guys in a YouTube video when I was trying to publish my first book with Amazon KDP, which is a frustrating process, but HMD Publishing helped me get everything right and even handled all the uploads directly to Amazon. I have now done 4 books with them and more to come. Highly recommended. A++

Hammad at HMD was instrumental in helping me typeset and publish my first bestseller, Catalyst Leadership. They brought professionalism, precision, and real publishing expertise to every stage of the process. As a first-time author, I needed a team that could take something important to me and handle it with care, urgency, and attention to detail - and that’s exactly what they did. They made the entire experience smoother, easier, and far more polished than I could have done on my own. I’m proud of the final product, and they absolutely helped make that happen. I highly recommend HMD Publishing to any author who wants a true partner in getting their book published right.

Excellent communication. It can be challenging to communicate the work you want; they make sure they understand your project. They also added things that I hadn't thought of that improved my project. Everything was finished in a timely manner. I had no problems and will definitely work with them again. Thank You.

Amazing experience. Loved working with this company

I used HMDP as a first time author and it exceeded all my expectations. From the raw script, to editing, formating, publishing to marketing it has been a flawless experience. Quality of advise and work, response time and flexibility, all 5 stars

Great response time

My last six books, and the next three, have all been formatted by Hammad and his team at HMD Publishing. I highly recommend them. They are trustworthy, timely, and responsive.
I was in the same position many authors are: searching for a reliable partner for my publishing and formatting needs. I’ve been working with HMD Publishing since COVID, and I’m glad I found them. Their professionalism, consistency, and quality of work keep me coming back.

HMD Publishing gave me great service. They completed the work on time and ensured I was satisfied with the result. I highly recommend them.

HMD Publishing as always worked diligently on my project. I've worked with them before, and will work with them again. I truly appreciate their patience.

My experience with HMD Publishing was outstanding from start to finish. The quality of their work alone made the investment worthwhile, but what truly set them apart was their professionalism, flexibility, and kindness. As a first-time self-published author, I was still learning the process, and they showed remarkable patience and grace while guiding me through design, formatting, and editing decisions. They wanted me to feel confident and proud of the final product—and they delivered. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a publishing partner, and I absolutely plan to work with them again. They played a powerful role in helping me bring The Brave Leaders Playbook into the world.

Great team to work with they’ve helped put together two of my e-books very quickly. Shaheer is very good and quick super happy!
