I ordered a full house of Liniar Flush UPVC windows from Home Build Doors and couldn’t be happier with the service. The windows were supplied exactly to specification, well-packaged, and of excellent quality – solid, modern, and beautifully finished.

A special mention to lory,who was outstanding throughout the process. She was a massive help with advice, communication, and making sure everything went smoothly from start to finish.

I had an absolutely excellent experience with Home Build Doors. From start to finish, the service was professional, friendly, and stress-free. Josh in particular was fantastic – knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The quality of the doors is outstanding, and the whole process felt easy and efficient.

I bought a set of 3-fold bi-fold doors from Home Build Doors and honestly the whole process was brilliant. I dealt with Josh from start to finish and he couldn’t have been more helpful. The website was really easy to use, but as I wasn’t confident on sizes, Josh recommended a surveyor. I went ahead with that and he was incredibly patient with me (even when I kept changing my mind). He gave me solid advice which turned out to be the right call.

Ordering was simple and Josh kept me updated on delivery all the way through. The doors arrived in perfect condition and the fitter they suggested did a great job professional, tidy and knew exactly what he was doing.

The doors themselves are beautiful and far better than I’d expected for the price. I did shop around and these were the best value by a long way.

I’ve seen a couple of reviews complaining about fitting charges but the company are supply only, they make this clear. Naturally, fitting is a separate cost, but I actually liked that they gave me the choice of using my own or going with their recommended fitter.

I’d definitely recommend Home Build Doors to anyone. Great service, great price and a fantastic end result.

Very refreshing experience. I had a Visofold 1000 delivered and the quality was brill. They were very responsive and knowledgeable over the phone and I have no complaints. Order arrived in 3 week and I had a phone call from a very helpful driver just before which helped as only my wife was at home so gave me time to get back. 5 star from me.

This is the second time we’ve used Home Build Doors and they’ve been consistently brilliant. Great products, great service, and a company that genuinely cares – we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

It started off ok and we almost placed a large order with these guys, but I’m so pleased we never. After some back and forth we agreed a style of windows/doors & arranged a survey which we believed was going to completed by them but it turned out to be a 3rd party.

The first appointment nobody bothered to turn up nor did anyone contact us. When we reached out to Homebuild he said he’d been on holiday so no one had spoken to the fitters which is a poor excuse when there is several people that work here. The 2nd appointment we didn’t receive confirmation and again on the day we were left chasing them.

After the survey we then received an amended quote which made no sense at all. It had windows missing and additional components added. When we questioned this they couldn’t explain which windows they had missed off which was really concerning. We were then told that between the original planned survey date and the rearranged date there had been a price increase with Origin- which was obviously no fault of our own. In addition to this we then received a crazy quote from the 3rd party fitters which was almost £2000 more than the price that they advised Josh. Ohh and they wanted paying in cash and didn’t offer any additional warranty for their workmanship which made us very wary (this appears to be the case on other reviews too). They even claimed this was a discounted price because we were paying in cash.

Anyway we were having serious concerns about using them after that and had a few more questions around the durability of the windows/doors and due to receiving no response from Homebuild doors I reached out to the manufacturer and I am so pleased I did.

They (Origin) actually told me that Homebuild Doors are one of their suppliers but not one of their Premium or Platinum Partners - they simply supply the product only. In addition to this after they completed a search on the fitters they confirmed that they are not approved installers meaning that if we made the decision to purchase from Homebuild and use these 3rd party fitters who are not approved by them or any of the regulators inc FENSA then the warranty would reduce from a 20 year to a 1 year guarantee.

All along the order journey we had been informed that the guarantee is 20 years - but what we were not told is that if we used a non approved fitters it would impact the guarantee.

We have been directly informed by Origin that the 20 year warranty is only valid if the installation is carried out by an accredited installer. If you do not use an accredited installer or choose to fit them yourself this reduces to 1 year.

Luckily Origin assisted us with sharing details of their approved premium/platinum partners who actually come out at a similar price without any back and forth, so don’t always think your getting a good deal with these guys as the premium partners have that relationship with the manufacturer therefore in our case they were able to get us a better deal & provided a reassuring and professional experience.

Firstly I do not take kindly to threats and to be absolutely clear I have been fully transparent and truthful with my review
I have not made any defamatory comments - everything is accurate and has been discussed with the manufacturer.

In terms of my comments relating to the approved Premium/Platinum installer homebuild doors are not, they are a supplier. This can be validated using the search engine on the Origin website or calling Origin directly.

In reference to the guarantee in order to receive a 20 year guarantee from Origin we have been advised that the product needs to be installed by an approved installer. If you choose to fit the item yourself or use a 3rd party that is not approved then this reduces down to 1 year. Again this evidence is clearly available on the Origin website and they will confirm over the phone if anyone wishes to validate this. They explained to me that the reason for this is that they cannot guarantee the workmanship or confirm that they have been installed correctly hence why the guarantee reduces down to 1 year. (They have absolutely no reason to tell me this if this isn’t true)

Therefore if you were to place an order I would strongly recommend that you check if the installer you intend to use is approved before potentially making a costly mistake.

Finally the survey fee I wasn’t disputing the fee it was more around the reliability and the fact that the cost for the installation almost doubled to what we had been quoted by Homebuild doors, together with the fact that no additional guarantee is offered and the request for cash. We would never have agreed to using them or arranging the survey if we knew this in the first place.

The quality of the doors and windows we ordered exceeded our expectations. For the price, I don't think we would have found a better option. They look stunning, are structurally sound, and came with all necessary components with the exception of trim and sealant.
There are a few things however that detracted from our overall experience. We paid in full for our order on June 2nd which included a set of heritage doors, a case window and 2 skylights. On July 15th, we sent confirmation that the openings were ready as we were constructing a new extension. There was an expectation at the time the doors and windows and rooflights would be ready as it was 6-7 weeks past payment. Between June 2nd and July 15th, the only correspondence we had from the company was on June 26 asking if we had booked the survey in. It was only on July 15th that it was explained we required a "survey" to confirm the measurements of the openings and only then would the advised 3 week lead time actually start. This subsequently pushed our project completion date resulting in an unanticipated delay. Our survey was completed on July 25th, by a recommended third party. 4 weeks later our skylights were delivered and a week after that our doors and casement window were delivered.
I would recommend the products from Home Build Doors for their quality and overall look, but the after sales service has some room for improvement. There is a severe lack of information, either available online or explained to you about the process. At no point was there any explanation about the survey needing to be completed before the products would begin to be worked on. I emailed a few times with no response, and when we challenged around the lack of response it was because someone had gone on holiday; what sort of organization doesn't have an out of office reply or an email forwarding option? The "survey" was £200, completed by a recommended third party who lacked any real sense of availability and whose job it was to come and measure the external and internal openings. Although the guys were pleasant, they measure for 20 minutes and take the money. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to take measurements and £200 seems pretty steep for such an elementary task, one I would have happily done had it been explained to me what the survey entailed. We had tried to use the same team for the installation as well, however their availability was impossible and in the end we found a company that installed the doors and windows and skylights to a high degree, including finishing (which the recommended third party would only do for an extra fee).
Your products are fantastic, but your after sales service is lacking. If there was more transparency or information available online or shared during the quote/booking process, it would manage expectations and result in happier customers. I have no problem with the supply only business strategy, but please be more transparent and forthcoming about the process from start to finish.

I purchased expensive aluminium external sliding and bi-folding doors from Home Build Doors, expecting premium quality and service. Unfortunately, both doors arrived faulty, which was incredibly frustrating and disappointing given the cost.

Although the company eventually sent replacement units free of charge, they refused to cover the costly re-fitting expenses, leaving me with a significant financial loss. I bought brand new doors, not second-hand or refurbished ones, and I should not be responsible for fixing their mistakes.

To make matters worse, the quality of the doors is subpar. Within just a few weeks, I had to replace the door handle, and the glass scratches far too easily—definitely not what I expected from a supposedly high-end product.

My complaints were ignored for a long time, and only after I submitted an official complaint did they respond. This lack of accountability and poor customer care has made the entire experience stressful and disappointing.

I would not recommend Home Build Doors to anyone looking for reliable products or professional service. Proceed with caution.

I have bought several sets of doors in the past 18 months and this was the best experience I have had. Great price, good communication, professional and the doors arrived on time. Very happy indeed.

Ordered several internal aluminium doors. Excellent service from start to finish. Cannot fault it. We are in London and using them I saved thousands. And free delivery! Prompt efficient service, good product and great value

We had a bad experience with this company. We ordered sliding doors, two rooflights and a picture window, on the basis of supply and install, despite them not offering the lowest quote for Cortizo doors - we wanted the assurance of install being undertaken by the supplier. The glazing all arrived separately over the course of several weeks, with the doors taking two and a half months - despite the two week timeline claimed on the website, holding up our build. The large glazing also arrived with only one delivery driver, leaving us in difficulty to unload and store for weeks. They did not co-ordinate with the installers at all, and it turned out to be a third party - who turned up asking for cash payment and offering no paperwork or warranties/ assurances or guarantees for their work. The sliding doors have been scratched and smeared with expanding foam. Home Build doors take no responsibility for the installers who we had believed to be part of the company. We have had no communications following a formal complaint about the misleading comunications and poor service. When I asked if they offered install they had said yes, only clarifying it's a third party after the sale.
