Really check vehicle with mechanic
Was told it had a full inspection only too find 2 tyres with bad cracks in wall of tyres wasn't impressed and asked for a new mot did not happen said it would when paid deposit

Thanks for your feedback — we’re sorry to hear you were left disappointed.
To clarify for others reading, the vehicle you purchased was a 2009 Vauxhall Zafira, clearly advertised as a part-exchange to clear. It was one of our lowest-priced vehicles, and the listing did not state a new MOT would be provided — unlike many of our other vehicles where this is included. Instead, the advert clearly stated it had a long MOT until January 2026.
All our cars are available for inspection without pressure — we don’t do pushy sales. You're handed the keys and given space to look the car over at your own pace. This Zafira had been used reliably as an emergency loan car by our own staff and customers, and was safety-checked before sale. The tyres were legal and MOT-compliant at handover. Age-related sidewall cracking can sometimes appear on older tyres, but unless excessive, it doesn’t warrant replacement or result in an MOT fail.
That said, if it’s purely peace of mind you’re after, feel free to pop back in — we’re always happy to help and can do you a deal on new tyres if that would help you feel more confident in the car.

Update edit. Following response, no you have not directly refused to help but ignoring calls and not responding amounts in my view to the same thing. The ball was left in your court to contact us to arrange to bring the vehicle back and after several calls have still not done so. There are a number of other things I could say but do not want to get into a text argument on here. Call me, you have my number!
Purchased vehicle from them in March, had a system notification come up within 2 weeks. Asked to bring the car back to check and was told they had cleared the message it was a service message which had probably not been cleared after their presales service. Drove away and error back on within 1 mile. Returned a day or so later and told it was an oil level/pressure switch fault. Loaned a car and left it there. Supposed to call us to say it was fixed. After many calls over several days with no reply, we were told car is ready to collect. Picked up and again within a mile error light back on. Back to garage next day to be told don't worry it's a pressure switch fault, can keep driving it will be fine and we will call you when part is in to fix. Month later, still no return call even after contacting them to book in. After first return checked oil level which was early up to the x, danger mark on the stick. They drained some oil, but it seems odd that on a service they would overfill to that degree. Have given up contacting them now as it seems that once sold they really don't care. Pretty much the same as most, but not all used car dealers. Shame as the car is quite nice. Certainly would not recommend to another

We do appreciate this situation has been frustrating and agree that communication could have been better at times — for that, we apologise. However, we would like to clarify a few points for accuracy.
After you reported a warning message shortly after collection, we invited you back and investigated the issue at no charge. The initial dashboard message was cleared, as it related to a previously completed service, but when it reappeared, we carried out a deeper inspection and diagnosed a pressure switch fault. You were provided with a loan car while we looked into this further.
The fault in question is not one that presents any immediate risk to engine health, and this was explained to you at the time. However, we completely understand your concern and accept that the delay in getting the part fitted has caused disappointment.
Regarding the oil level, the vehicle was serviced and filled to spec, but we did reduce the level slightly when it was brought back in — just to err on the side of caution. These aren’t mistakes we take lightly, and we’re always happy to re-check anything a customer is concerned about.
We haven’t refused to help you at any stage, and we’re still happy to resolve the outstanding pressure switch fault if you'd like to return. We’d much rather sort it than leave you feeling disappointed.

I brought a Porsche off this company…
I brought a Porsche off this company the sales person was very helpful gave me a fair price for my old car. When I took the Porsche out with Jason I did say that the clutch is really high but he said that is normal for a Porsche. I brought the car picked it up a day later then they said due to they hadn't got the car ready not a problem. Once I got the car home the remote on the keys didn't work so I phoned Jason and he said don't worry we will sort them out. He said send me one key at a time so I did. In the mean time the clutch was getting worse so I took to a local garage to Neto get it checked he confirmed that the clutch is slipping but he did do clutches on Porsches. So I messaged Jason he said don't worry under warranty so arranged to take to take the car back which is a nightmare as I love 35 miles away. But took car in a bloke took the car out and when he came back he told me he had done 120 mile hour in it and it doesn't slip told me it was me. Which it wasn't. I asked Jason about my key as they had had it for 2months he gave it to me.
Took care of away clutch still slipping in my eyes got home key still didn't work.
So emailed Jason no reply took care of to Porsche they confirm clutch slipping and also to fix the key you have to have car. So I emailed Jason again and again and still no reply. The warranty they give has run out and I'm no facing a bill of 2.5 k for a new clutch.

If you knew that you needed the car for sorting the key why did you ask me to send it to you for you to sort out and you had it for 2 months.
Also there was no mention of the car being a part x and to u was selling a discounted price it was the same price as loots of others of the same age.
Also to ur mechanic said the clutch was fine yet two other garages said it did.
And so has Porsche.
I know the car is 25 years old and I do expect problems. But not when I had already said and it came with a warranty.

The Porsche you purchased was a 24-year-old, part-exchange-to-clear vehicle, priced accordingly to reflect its age and condition. It was prepared with a fresh MOT and service, and you were given all the time you needed to inspect and test drive the car before making your decision. During that time, you raised the high clutch biting point, and we explained this is common on first-generation Boxsters — it’s a known characteristic and not a fault in itself.
Shortly after purchase, you raised an issue with your key fob. We asked you to send the key to us because you initially described what sounded like a battery fault, not a programming issue. We replaced the battery and returned the key, unaware at that stage that Porsche keys require the car to be physically present to complete programming — something you later had confirmed directly by Porsche. Had we known this upfront, we’d have advised differently, but we did try to help in good faith and at no cost to you.
You later raised concerns about the clutch possibly slipping. We invited you to return the vehicle and carried out a full road test — at no charge — and found no evidence of clutch slip at that time. While we acknowledge that other garages have since given a different opinion, clutch wear is a wear-and-tear item and can deteriorate quickly depending on driving style, especially on a performance car like a rear-wheel-drive Porsche. This isn’t unique to our car — it’s simply the nature of older sports cars and part of the reality of ownership.
While your warranty has now expired, we’re still happy to assist with programming your key properly if you’d like to return with the vehicle, as Porsche themselves advised is required.
We’ve never turned you away and have always been willing to assist. It’s disappointing to be accused of ignoring you when we responded, booked the car back in, carried out a free inspection, and tried to support with the key. While we understand your frustration, we believe your review does not reflect the full picture or the support you were given.
We do genuinely wish you all the best with your Porsche and hope it brings you enjoyment going forward.

Very poor dealership
Car was ok, good experience to start with, but these people still owe me money from a car I traded in, tried to contact and message and was ignored, also after 4 weeks I still had no log book which I had to send off for a new one myself very poor and still on going will never deal with these again, answer left was aload of rubbish only had money out no money in, and I sent of for log book was back in four days, don’t try to cover this up liars

We also posted your log book promptly, along with several others from that week, and all were sent tracked as standard. Unfortunately, once documents are with the DVLA, it’s in their hands – and they’ll usually confirm a 6–8 week processing time if contacted directly.

We're sorry you're unhappy, but we haven’t lied or "covered anything up" — quite the opposite. We’re confident in how this was handled and feel this matter has now been closed properly and professionally.

Very poor experience
Purchased a nice mini – broke down on way home and had to be collected. Said they fixed and returned but broke down again and had to be collected. Again said it was fixed so returned and broke down again but this time with the driver from the garage so had to return.
Then sought a refund that took weeks to come through with very little useful information.
Was unfairly charged for the mileage incurred even though the car broke down during that mileage and caused us huge inconvenience plus having to tax and insure a car that spent practically a month at the garage.
Car went straight back up for sale at an increased price whilst I had to wait for my refund that short changed.
Took messages/emails/calls to get the refund pushed through.
Be careful buying a car from here.
