Hungry Minds Reviews

Very beautiful book and cover

The Book is fantastic! Hungry Minds has produced one of the coolest books about the history of survival and human civilization. It’s informative, aesthetic, and something you could pick up for a quick read or binge for hours. Couldn’t recommend more.

I love the illustrations, it's the perfect coffee table book.

I love this company! I love their creations. I wish I could acquire the tentacle magnifying glass without buying the deluxe Book set as I can’t afford that. Always when I write to them or ask a question they are prompt and courteous. I feel welcome to The Book community. Thanx!

The illustrations are glorious, but if you're looking for a survivalist's guide to rebuilding civilization, look elsewhere. The text is sparse at best, and the designs way overly complicated for their intended purpose, more designed to impress than to function. It's steampunk at its finest, but not practical. To be fair, you didn't really think a single book would allow you to restart civilization, did you?

Great product !! Thank you

Remarkable book

I purchased “The Book” with the decorative box, but what arrived was only the shipping box, with neither the decorative box nor the book inside. To make matters worse, the shipping box itself was still unassembled.

I tried calling the phone number provided for inquiries, but I was unable to get any clear or useful assistance. In the end, contacting customer support by email was the only effective way to resolve the issue.

The response after I contacted them by email was prompt, which I appreciated. However, I had purchased this as a birthday present, and unfortunately, the delay meant that I missed the opportunity to give it as planned.

While I appreciate the quick response once I reached the appropriate support channel, the initial shipment and the lack of effective assistance by phone were very disappointing.

Wonderful product

Well, I have yet to really open the book and get into it because I'm trying to get some gloves so that way my grease from my hands doesn't ruin it. But I loved the packaging the way it was presented and overall it was a great experience! And I do like how you put the adult content in a separate package for those of us who aren't interested in those things.

I've purchased all the puzzles (I think). Bought a few books to. Very happy with everything!!

I received the book much faster than I thought. The packaging and contents were perfect!

I expected the book to have more information on how things worked and how to replicate them

The book is full of useful information and the graphics are great.

They were awsome. My gift box was damaged while I was moving. I contacted support and they were so accommodating and let me buy just the gift box and not way overpriced either. I worked with Ben and Sheren . They were the BEST.

All fine. Very beautiful.

I don't even know where to begin. From hand-drawn illustrations to presentation to pure reading pleasure, I cannot think of how it could be better. I suppose I could complain about price. 100 USD for a book is kind of high. But honestly, for the quality and content of what I'm getting, the price is more than fair. I could see books like this easily going for twice that. Not to mention, I believe these will one day be collectors' items worth quite a bit if taken care of. As long as HM keeps doing what they're doing, I'll keep buying the experiences they are selling!
