Read all the bad reviews before making them your estate agent. This is an update for my earlier review, it’s the truth and nothing but the truth. Hyde and Rowe has offered me now £2000 for the damage their clients caused my property, this has been on going since 12 December 2021 and has finished all repair etc. On 12th February 2022, but the amount of damage to my property totals in access of £8300+, although my property is back to its original state, the situation regarding monies is still unresolved, this includes back rent still unpaid, lose of rental income, I had to get my own builders and decorators, because they didn't honor the contract in the rental agreement to put the property back to its original state less 20% wear and tear, which is very high for fair wear and tear, and there are unpaid bills their clients accrued, they negotiated with me from £750 then £1500,and finally £2000, I am now forced to have to take Hyde and Rowe to court, and I will win according to the professional advice I have taken, and I have all the evidence need. I shouldn’t have had to take a good honorable company to court?
when I posted my last review, the bad one star reviews which was at 27% of the reviews, now has gone down to 22%? Very Strange.
Hyde And Rowe has caused me great stress, anguish and anxiety, I feel quite ill, if I had had a bad heart, I'm sure I would have died!

Excellent service received from this agency and with myself being a first time landlord. They held my hand with the best advice possible. I fully recommend this agency.

This is my genuine experience. The property I was meant to stay at had no heating or hot water and I was told this on the day of check in. They offered a different property but that was dirty, no internet, you couldn't plug in the TV as it didn't reach the plug and there was an extension cable with a note saying "Do not use for your own safety". It also smelled of smoke from whichever neighbour was smoking in their flat. We had to turn down this accommodation as it was not up to the standards.

Before checking in I had to send over a £300 damage deposit via bank transfer and even though I never stayed in the property they were being very difficult about sending me back my £300. Their excuse for not sending the damage deposit was the submit button to bank transfer it back wasn't working. It has taken 4 weeks to get this back and it was booking.com who had to send it and invoice them later.

I would not recommend them to anyone. They will take your money, don't bother using them.

I booked a valuation. The day before the owner rang to ask me to reschedule when the appointment had been booked a week before. The visit went well. A week later I was still waiting for the valuation. It never came. I rang twice. I emailed and texted but had zero response. Don’t use this firm - they are unprofessional and will let you down

Stay away. Rogue estate agents who promise to provide a service by taking your property and paying you monthly for a fixed term. Then once the term is over do not return the property in a good state. They do not pay on time and are very poor with customer service. They have the highest turnover of staff I have ever encountered. DO NOT USE THEM FOR YOUR OWN SANITY

These properties are all around the Croydon area. I've stayed in a few of them for work and they are always conveniently located. The properties are clean and the comms with Michelle is great. Would reccomend.

I have been contacted by Hydeandrowe to provide end of tenancy service on short notice on Sunday afternoon. We had agreed on the price and we have done what was requested. Our problem started when we wanted to get paid for the service, suddenly there was multiple departments we supposed to send the invoice then they question the amount(which they agree to pay) eventually they become dodging calls and emails saying the person who is responsible is off or out of office. It has been over six months we are waiting for payment. When I managed to speak to person who hired us, she said she's left as it was a constant practice, they don't pay their contractors and use new people all the time. Please avoid them as they are dishonest and will try scam you.

Avoid this company,very unresponsible people from the managers to the staff.
They don't care about you property , there's no maintenance just just see you as a money tree, also they have a very bad reputation in local council, too many complaints from tenant and land Lords.

I am very happy with the service that this company provides, the customer service is excellent and the staff are very helpful, friendly and very kind.

I would highly commend this agency for finding me high standard accommodation for my disabled mother at the last hour. I needed ground floor accommodation and they presented me with to great options in Croydon.. Excellent clean and modern accommodation. I would highly recommend to others

I use the Serviced Accomodation department to rent my property out on a short let basis. The staff go above and beyond to help and ensure that I am satisfied with everything. I cannot fault the customer service received. I hope to use Hyde and Rowe as my letting agent for many years to come.

I have extremely positive feedback to give to Hyde and Rowe Estate Agents. I viewed my prospective flat twice, both times convenient to myself, and was picked up from the train station by Michelle and taken to the House as I am not from the area. The office team picked up any queries I had during the purchase, immediately, and got back to me very quickly with the response. She kept me informed at all times.

My experience with the company has been exemplary. I have sold properties through Hyde & Road and also hold my portfolio of 10 with them on rent. Management isn’t an issue as the team are fair and efficient. Highly recommend
