Hypofriend provides a professional, honest and friendly mortgage brokerage service. It's easy to set up video consultations and the information is incredibly helpful. As novices, we understood little about the German mortgage market but were expertly guided through the process, right down to being advised that we'd be better off financially by accepting our bank's direct offer. I would 100% recommend Hypofriend to others.

Julia helped us in the process of buying an apartment. Helge is not only our ‘mortgage broker’ but he is a trusted friend, advisor. With Helge's help we purchased our first home. Helge has spent hours upon hours with us, over the phone and in person. Helge always encourages us to ask questions, always emphasizing ‘no question is a dumb question!’ and we always feel like we can call him to clarify things we are unsure of!

Nachdem ich für meine Inmmobilienfinmanzierung mit zahlreichen Vermittler im Verbindung gesetzt habe, Hypofriend ist der Vermittler, den einzelnen ich bis zum Ende behalten habe. Der Ansprechpartner ist super nett und analysiert die Siutation kritisch, reagiert schnell auf meine Emails. Obwohl am Ende habe ich direkt mit der Bank unterschrieben. Aber wenn ich meine zweite Wohnung kaufen würde, würde ich wieder zu Hypofriend gehen.

We had a brilliant experience with Hypofriend. We heard about them from some friends and decided to give it a go. Our mortgage advisor Tobias Schöning was excellent. He explained to us all the steps at the beginning and supported us throughout the whole process with quite a few calls, also unplanned ones and ultimately helped us to get a good deal as together we acted very quickly. All of it in a perfect English, so he helped us also dealing with the paperwork in German. Absolutely recommended!

Superb experience. We were hesitant before the first call, but Christopher explained everything really well and made us confident about the mortgage and eventually whole process of buying a flat. Also, every time we needed something, he was able to guide us with fast replies and advices.

I was overwhelmed with the whole process of buying something in Germany due to the fact of the strict language rules and the high preliminary costs (taxes, notar ..etc) so having a business model that relies on taking a commission not from the buyer but from the bank is smart!

I strongly recommend the service from Hypofriend. I have tried another online broker from another platform before but Hypofriend is from another league. The process to acquire the mortgage would not have worked without the help of Tobias from Hypofriend. Without previous experience with financing and without knowing (much) the German language, we were able to close a deal to buy an apartment. He helped us a lot at every step of the process, from understanding how a mortgage works, what were our possibilities and best strategy for the investment (how much equity to spend, how much pay back to choose), how much the targeted apartments were worth (we checked many in a time period of ~4 months), found the best financing offer, till the moment we sat in the notary office. In addition, he also helped out with a not so responsive and slow bank. He always worked on our interest and always answered to our silly questions.
