Blevet grådige og overholder ikke hvad de lover.

For cirka 3 år siden lavede de en kampagne hvor man selv kunne bestemme prisen på deres Pro abonnement. Nu sætter de alligevel prisen op, og gør det ved at skjule sig bag at Pro abonnementet er fjernet og afløst af Pro+, derfor mener de ikke at de har gjort noget forkert til trods for deres “forever” kampagne.

Sådan en forretning gider jeg ikke støtte og har derfor afmeldt.

They suddently removed features without an email or something. I was relying on some features and to remove it without notifying the users is a really bad user experience. But I don't think such a company cares about its users, they just want money.

I was on a pro legacy plan for years & promised the same price for life. This month they have switched me off it & upped the price. I've just cancelled the subscription & will be claiming the money they stole.

I have been a subscriber to this service in some form for around 4 years now. Please do not make the mistake of giving this company any money. They have repeatedly shown they cannot be trusted as an organisation - they use underhanded tactics and resort to provably false and misleading marketing in order to get your money, and then fail to uphold their services and agreements.

I only wish I had given up earlier on this company, I have given them too many chances.

Feedback-- There's a lot of potential to create virtual doorbell buttons that drive Alexa smart home automations via outside weather events. Alexa doesn't support weather triggers which is a significant omission. My use case is primarily weather triggered events such as wind over a certain speed to retract an outdoor awning (bond hub controlling somfy awning) or weather below freezing to enable a smart plug for pipe heat tape on pipes subject to freezing in an attic. With the free account limit, I can't do both of these simple tasks using a single common applet Mkzense. This would require 3 triggers, one to close the awning, one to turn on the heat tape at 32f and one to turn off the heat tape at 34f. Can't be done with Ifttt free account even though it creates 3 virtual buttons when linked to Alexa.
1) why have three virtual buttons by default in alexa when the effective limit is two triggers? with their nomenclature, any trigger you create becomes a new applet even if they share the same common applet. As soon as you enable/link Ifttt to alexa, it has you name 3 virtual buttons. This implies that the minimum account should support this, but that would assume a level of thinking that has left the building. Good luck using them as Mkzense now limits you to 2 virtual triggers. Very confusing and shows the roadmap to monetization hasn't involved much thought.
2) Inability to delete applet triggers (Mkzense). As soon as you add 2, the service is grayed out. The only way to add new triggers is to "Archive" them. Even when you archive, sometimes it takes the website time to un-gray the applet. Is this intentional to strong arm subscriptions?
3) Inability to edit trigger actions other than the name unless you create it from scratch or restore from archive. can't edit an active trigger in mkzense. the only edit field is for the title of the trigger. You have to archive the trigger, then once you reenable it suddenly there is a one-time ability to edit the action. you could get around this by creating a new trigger but you will be blocked from doing so because of the 2 applet limit. why so kludgy? very tedious
4) mkzense wu underground defaults to some random address in california. i had a wind event triggering my awning at 5:21 am because there was wind at the developer's house lol. locally it was dead calm. location services are enabled on my device. of course, i couldn't edit the address field without first archiving, then re-enabling the trigger. every time i want to change mph, i have to archive and re-enable or archive and create a new trigger from scratch. if you make the mistake of publishing, you likely can't delete and then you are sol with the 2 applet limit. Hasty monetization without any consideration for who will actually use this.
5) The 2 applet limit (free service) isn't just restrictive of applets but it also applies to triggers. You could have one applet (mkzense) but each trigger counts against the 2 limit. Since most automations have a separate trigger for 'on' and a separate trigger for 'off,' this is basically limited to one solitary device. It's not even enough access to validate its usefulness.

IFTTT switches off functionality for existing free accounts. Not so great.
This ain't a customer policy which one appreciates. Anyway in the free version only 2(!) applets are possible - otherwise subscription 
With a more open free account I think more people would get into the subsc. because alt the end all the functionalities are only nice to haves.

Everything was great until they disabled my applets without warning. Seemingly they've suddenly decided they were using "pro" features, even though they're extremely basic. Appreciate I was using it for free but I still think it's pretty poor form to do this without warning. It's also totally unclear when setting up and applet which features are deemed "pro" and which are not. It's constantly coming up with a screen to get you to give them money, and it's not usually clear why you're seeing it. More transparency needed.

I just bought some smart plugs (Meross) because they could be triggered by my UbiBot temperature sensors which I only bought as they had a IFTTT trigger that would link them both. Turns out the triggers no longer work yet the applets are still there on the IFTTT site. There are plenty of workarounds so not a train smash but deceitful of IFTTT to keep them on their site.

Trust me and trust piolet reviews...don't do it.

wow alzano il prezzo e mi avvertono di questo 5 giorni prima della fatturazione e come se non bastasse questo ad agosto mentre sono in ferie.... azienda poco seria... ho mandato richiesta di riavere i miei soldi ed di far eliminare immediatamente l'account vediamo se almeno faranno questo... vergogna. e pensare che era il mio 3 anno che avrei pagato senza troppe lamentele

Dopo essere riuscito a contattarli siamo riusciti ad sistemare le cose e trovare una soluzione, quindi alzo a tre stelle per la loro onesta e per il tentativo di sistemare le cose fatto sta che non sarebbe mai successo tutto questo se fin da subito avrebbero lavorato in modo diverso.

Greed destroyed this once great app. Time to move on and let them become irrelevant.

I don't understand these services. This is eventually just a relay for other services and they can all have a cost as well. In the end we're potentially paying hundreds in monthly fees. We see the same trend in streaming services. Enough! You're not worth over $1 a month, IFTTT. There's plenty of free and lower-cost alternatives. I've had it with companies just wanting to please their shareholders by maximizing profit. You have a good service, IFTTT, but your capitalistic ideology is dead wrong. With your latest round of tightening things up (which you've been doing a few times already), you've just ensured that I definitely won't pay for your "service".

Just too expensive.
Offer 10 widgets for a low fee and you will get more subscribers.
20 widgets for a lower fee than you charge currently and you will sell more.

Many years ago this service had something to offer. But then throughout the years the quality of the service got worse, applets became less and less reliable to the point that you can no longer tell why an applet isn't functioning. And then, since the service is such a work of art, they apparently decided it made sense to push users towards paid plans. And now for some reason I'm getting 3 emails an hour about the fact that in a few days most of my applets are going to be deleted. Well good riddance, I have not really used the service in a long time anyway. I just need to find a way to stop receiving their spam.

at the beginning it's free and nice... then you have to pay if you want the nice and better dope... now you have to pay just for talking to the dealer...

I recently had an unfortunate experience with IFTTT, and I must say that I am thoroughly disappointed with their service. I can confidently state that IFTTT's inconsistent and ever-changing applet limitations have left me feeling frustrated and misled.

Initially, I was drawn to IFTTT due to its promise of automating tasks through applets. However, their constant alterations to the number of applets available on the free plan have proven to be quite vexing. The inconsistency in their approach is evident as they repeatedly fluctuate the limit, creating confusion and an overall lack of trust.

From my observations, IFTTT has repeatedly changed the applet limit, starting with three applets on the free plan, then raising it to five, only to drop it down to one. This back-and-forth pattern continued with subsequent changes, including raising it back to five and then dropping it to two once again. Such fluctuation gives the impression that IFTTT is intentionally playing games with their users in order to nudge them towards purchasing their paid plans.

In light of these circumstances, I would like to recommend an alternative solution: Huginn. Huginn is an open-source platform that allows you to create your own automation flows, giving you full control and avoiding the inconsistencies that plague IFTTT. With Huginn, you can customize your workflows to suit your needs without the fear of arbitrary restrictions or sudden changes in functionality.

In conclusion, I find IFTTT's handling of applet limitations to be both untrustworthy and frustrating. Their continuous fluctuation of the applet count on the free plan suggests a deceptive tactic to encourage users to opt for their paid plans. Instead, I suggest exploring alternatives like Huginn that provide more consistency and control over your automation needs.

The app used to be free, and I loved it!
But then, it got limited to 20 applets for free users. A bit... Sad, but it's enough for most users - I said.
Then, it got limited to 5?! Nah.
Now, IT'S 2 APPLETS! It's trash.
They only want your money, they don't care about you.
It's better to find alternatives now. What's next, 0 applets for free?
Don't download this garbage. Soon enough I bet this app'll be removed from the Google Play Store, Google Search and everywhere.
Don't waste your time. I beg you.
