This thing is a joke. LOL. I am not even sure what it does but nothing we have done ever works. I would say its hit or miss but we tried with 19 or so companies and none of them seemingly do anything. They try to sell this too.

Facebook and twitter are down and they are not talking about the problem or extending our subscriptions.

I never signed up for this service and they charged my card. I emailed the copmany and they quickly refunded the charge and said they would cancel the account i never created. Just received another charge on my card.

Har lukket både min gratis konto og min pro konto og lige lidt hjælper det IFTTT trækker fortsat 3.99$ hver eneste måned, uprofessionelt og dette tvinger mig så til at spærre mit kort. Øv øv var glad for at bruge det med mine elever men så ville de pludselig tjene guld.....

Conned me into putting in my credit card details to try out their extra features and then went ahead with charging me a full years subscription for a service I don't use nor do I want to use it. Their support is simple and to the point - No refunds.

I used them to auto-publish my posts on my business pages on 5 social media platforms and got my all my 5 accounts disabled. When my posts were published they don't come out well on the platforms themselves either, avoid!

I used to use this site a few years back after purchasing a few basic Wemo switches, but a recent visit showed that the site had switched to a rather aggressive commercial model that drives most of its user base to pay a monthly fee.
Such a shame... I suspect that vendors will stop developing for this platform now as consumer interest wanes. A fixed nominal fee for each integration would have been much more palatable, especially for ad-hoc use.

Spam mails daily!

Even i‘ve deleted and unsub from thr mail list, they still send mails almost every day! Horrible unserious company! Stay away!

I paid an extra yearly fee at my homeautomation provider specifically for IFTTT services. I then set up all my apps at IFTTT which took hours. Everything worked. Then IFTTT suddenly also wanted a yearly subscription, even though I already paid my home automation providers specifically for IFTTT services. IFTTT then deleted all my apps that took hours to setup. Total chaos and super rip off. Don't trust them. They suck and dont know how to run a business.

IFTTT used to be great and free. Now barely useful.
"Created by me (2 of 3)" and "You’ve created 2 of your 3 Applets limit. Upgrade now to create unlimited Applets and access powerful Pro tools.", well I cannot now create my third, it asks to upgrade/subscribe for 3.99 USD per month.
Nah I'll fully instead use raspberry pi I have and apps like Tasker.
Would rather see option to pay like 50 USD for unlimited time and not for like a year only, that's anyway in my user range because I don't use it THAT much but still useful site.

Må indrømme at jeg har været super glad for IFTTT, dengang og inden IFTTT blev grådig, og vil have penge både fra firmaer der dermed må skrive at deres produkt er IFTTT ready og private der gerne vil gøre deres daglig dag lidt smartere. så nu har jeg købt en smartthing som gør det smartere. og må IFTTT som har skudt sig selv i benet, komme på bedre tanken, inden alle produkterne vender IFTTT ryggen

Not too happy about switching to a paid membership, however, I use the service to help my live streaming bits which seems to work most of the time.

The product is okay (a little hard to use) and I'm not angry about them changing to a freemium model, but I was misled about what would change - they said they would limit the number of applets you could create for free, but I didn't think I had created any, only used ones that other people had made. And yet they now have blocked almost all of them from me because I didn't get a paid account. Worse, their last email about the applets getting blocked says "reply to this email and we'll do our best to answer your questions", but when I reply, I get an automated message saying they don't check that email address. To add insult to injury, the support section of the website has no option for asking about this issue, only specific help channels for other specific account and password issues. I'm emailing one of those about it anyway and will raise my rating a little if they reply, but this is ridiculous.

Great that a company like ifttt makes a reverse Robin Hood. I hope everyone drops them so they can understand how they have cheated their users.

IFTTT switched from free to premium rendering all but 3! applets usable on free accounts. A dirty trick to force users with loads of existing applets to switch to premium or lose all applets!

It is not free anymore and the options given, I simply cannot afford to pay on a monthly basis. It all adds up. Such a shame :-(

It's not free anymore. It has been a free service for many years because the suppliers of home tech was paying to be on their platform, but now that is not enough for them.......
