Sent an item that was not described properly, agreed to pick it up and refund, then changed their website description to cover their lies and won't answer any emails or get in touch, not the service you would except from a company like this

Replacement Exodus roofbox key with no code.
Contacted Indespension after receiving advice from THULE regarding a replacement key for a Halfords roof box. I was advised to look into the branch in order to try a range of master keys to which after 15 minutes a matching key was found and a replacement ordered to be sent out to my home address. Great friendly service very highly recommended thank you!

I dealt with the Carlisle branch and to be honest the whole experience was shambolic
I dealt with the Carlisle branch and to be honest the whole experience has been shambolic! I ordered some Thule parts (bike rack and roof bars) No communication on my order, I had to chase! Some of the order arrived and was fitted but again no communication on the remainder of the order. Someone in the branch (lets not name names on here, but Indespension know who that is) did eventually try to call and let me know the outstanding parts had arrived. I did miss an appointment with them and I am a little hard to get hold of at the moment- busy like most people. I did explain that on the phone and said leave a message and I'll call you back so we can arrange and alternative fitting date. No message left and when I receive an unknown number I don't generally call them back. That's when the first threating text arrived telling me if I didn't settle the balance court action would be taken (in the 21st century what reputable company would send a text like that?). I made a call to the branch and said - how can I pay the balance when I don't know how much it is and b, I still have parts on order. At this point, I'm thinking, not great so let's end it and I can arrange the remainder of the parts from somewhere else. The bizarre thing is the branch didn't know how much deposit I had paid, so again I couldn't settle the balance. I was away at the time so called the branch one Saturday morning as agreed, let them know how much the deposit was and said let me know the balance and I will pay. 4 weeks passed, I'm busy and to be honest why should I chase to pay an invoice. Then the calls start again. I am working from home, busy on calls and meetings but no voicemail left. Then another threating text telling me the debt would be passed to accounts if I didn't pay the balance by the end of the day. I called Head Office and explained, I couldn't pay the balance as I didn't know how much it was. They were very apologetic and I had several calls from someone else at Carlisle who let me know how much was outstanding. The upshot is the balance has been settled but not until Indespension tried to invoice me nearly £40 more than the Thule website would have charged for the same parts. Again, they did apologise and reduced the invoice but make sure you have your wits about you when dealing with them and be prepared to be the one chasing for updates on a order.

Overall a poor service
To be honest I cannot rate my experience fully as I have not received my order as yet. I have also received no communication on when I may receive my order. I sent an email to the sales guy and he has not replied. I had been hoping to use my Trailer this weekend, that’s not going to happen. Overall a very poor service.

The stress of buying a trailor coupling.
I tried to buy a trailor coupling. 1st step I rang Leeds depot no answer ,so range head office thay said that Leeds had one. So I went to Leeds, no coupling in stock but I managed to buy other parts that I required. I was told that one would be sent to them and thay would ring me.about 8 days later I rang again still not found my coupling another 2 days I rang again still no coupling. Another 14 days I rang again still no coupling, so was suggested that the order be transfered to head office and thay would ring me. As thay didn't ring me imidiatly I went on line and ordered one over the Internet which meant incuring a delivery charge. And then my coupling arrived within a couple of days. Why was it so hard to buy a standard item, it took me nearly a month with me doing all the pushing. The company have apologised to me and are looking at ways to prevent this kind of problem occurring in the future. I have to say that there on line service is excellent.
