This was my first experience dealing with a subsidence claim caused by internal foundation movement, and I initially trusted that my insurance provider would act in my best interests. After two years, the loss adjuster confirmed that the movement had stopped, and the insurer’s building contractor proposed laying a new floor in the hall, lounge and dining rooms while we continued living in the property. At this stage, I realised I required accredited professional support, so I researched and contacted Salmon Assessors and spoke with Jeremy, whose knowledge and experience were immediately evident and who recognised the situation as a serious injustice. The following day, Jeremy visited the property to see first-hand how inadequately the claim had been managed and took immediate steps to address the situation. Throughout this lengthy and challenging process, Jeremy has provided consistent, proactive support, remaining available by telephone and attending every property meeting with the loss adjuster and building contractor to ensure decisions were properly challenged, standards were maintained, and my interests were fully represented. Now, in our sixth year, thanks to Jeremy’s dedication and professional handling of the claim, we have been relocated to a like-for-like property within our area, with full building investigations and remedial works due to commence. As a result of Jeremy’s expertise, extensive internal and external repairs will be completed. I did a google search needing support for a landlord insurance claim. Rang the firm after seeing all the 5 star reviews. If I was wondering why they had so many 5 star reviews it was clear following the call. Really knowledgable and just wanted to help with no interest in just selling their services. I called to inquire about a claim I needed help with. Even though my claim didn't meet the criteria for their services, the team immediately offered guidance and provided me with a legal letter and instructions on how to use it for my claim. It's rare to encounter that old-fashioned customer service these days, and it certainly doesn't go unnoticed. I'd happily recommend them to others, and my only regret is that I couldn't get to work with them further.

I called for their services. Jeff clearly advices me I didn’t need a loss adjuster and advised me on how I should go about for my claim. We chatted for about 20 mins. Very honest and friendly chap. He also said if I am not successful to call him again and he would help me.

I had a very positive experience and, in particular, speaking with Jeff. The advice was offered freely and without obligation, in fact, it was refreshingly candid in suggesting that I may not require their services at this stage if at all, while inviting me to get back in touch should matters develop or difficulties arise. Jeff was a pleasure to speak with — jelly babies’ preference over wine gums notwithstanding. From someone who found themselves in a bit of a pickle thanks to a burst pipe, give them a call, you will be better for it.

A flat was sold to me with a pre-existing leak which the freeholder was aware of. The freeholder refused to compensate me and the insurance company was offering me a negligible amount of compensation. I was very upset with the whole situation. I contacted Salmon Assessors. The person I spoke too understood what I was going through and was very positive to me. He could tell that I had been through a lot. He gave me much guidance and support over the phone. He said it was something that can be resolved, advised me what to do and then keep them in the loop if the matter has not been resolved.
