Absolutely on point as usual, always enjoy these well organised and informative sessions.

Really great organization, IPSE have myriad benefit well beyond the cost of membership in terms of ROI. In addition to this, IPSE is always in our corner as business owners and freelancers - their webinars are forever informative and our business goes from strength to strength with IPSE on our side.

It is always good to attend these, both to get and refresh what's happening in the IPSE world that affects us (and there has been a lot over the last year, what with the railroading of the fundamentally flawed IR35, and Umbrellas and no support during the pandemic) and to keep abreast of guidelines for the breadth of scope that many not in the independent/freelance world take for granted.

As well as Keynotes, there were multiple talks and presentations around the themes of Finance (for later life, protection from hackers, contractual mistakes, mortgages), Winning Work (1st meeting with a client, gaining more time-money-success, winning work post-pandemic, rate negotiation, social media), Wellbeing (healthy habits, overcoming self-doubt, mental health survival guide), and Workshops (marketing & branding, advanced CV writing, diversity-equity-inclusion, LinkedIn masterclass).

While it's always good to meet in person, I found it even better virtually as you don't have to go round hunting for the right rooms, finding them full and then having to go find others. Instead, even though you have to miss parallel sessions, the on-demand catch-up gives you the content legibly rather than a video of a screen from the far end of the room. And you can get a good cup of tea too.

Excellent and informative talks. Possible to fit in around work with app and live streaming. Also great to have the talks I missed available on the app.

My IPSE membership has been a true saviour for me numerous times throughout my freelance career so far. It has quickly resolved countless headaches - some of which could have taken me out of self-employment altogether and landed me back into a boring 9-5, or quite possibly into financial difficulties with far wider reaching consequences for me and my business.

If god forbid, any tax or legal issue arises surrounding your business, it can often feel like you are stuck in no mans land - without a clue of what to do, or where to turn to. It’s in these moments that you truly understand the value of your IPSE membership and it’s tax/legal helplines & covers.

Add to that access to Perkbox, as well as a whole host of protections and membership benefits which have saved me a hefty amount of cash + stress all these years - and I can confidently say that even if their membership doubled in price overnight, renewal would still be a no-brainier for me!

Uniquely in the UK, IPSE have been consistently advocating for freelancers over many years. They also run events of tangible value, such as National Freelancers Day and a wide program of webinars. Great organisation, offering real value for money.

Great events to support freelancers and self-employed be the best they can be

IPSE is a great support to me as a freelancer, especially with the research they do into our lives as self-employed people! I ran a webinar for IPSE in 2021, and very much enjoyed reaching a new audience thanks to IPSE. I look forward to working with them in the future, and for National Freelancers Day in June.

IPSE do a tremendous amount of positive work for independent professionals and have been at the forefront of various campaigns to support the interests of the UK's flexible workforce. I wholeheartedly recommend joining IPSE and exploring all the fantastic support, benefits and events they have to offer their members.

As a member for a few years before retiring I would advise freelancers and self employed to have a look at IPSE. Start up will benefit from a range of advices and support as well as some free benefits to their members. They also now have a freelance site to help those more specifically but for everyone the networking opportunities and support on offer comes at a reasonable cost.

I've been a member for three years and I feel so much more secure knowing I have the right insurances in place, and a supportive team who genuinely want to help me and my business. Just last week I rang their legal helpline to see if I could get some clarification about contracting a sub-contractor and the advice was really good and reassuring - plus they emailed me the right contracts straight away - all done and dusted super quickly. I also love the fact that my membership pays to help the future of the wider freelance community. Really proud to be an IPSE member.

Added a membership to the basket, because I wanted to know what the price is (they didn't publish it anywhere).

Now, every few days, they send me totally unsolicited e-mails with subject "Incomplete application reminder!" telling me, that I should buy their product! I didn't asked for any of this, I am not their customer, never signed up, there is no option to unsubscribe from this, and they not responding to my e-mails! Stop that spam already!
What a fraud.

EDIT: I have sent you numerous e-mails already to web @ipse.co.uk, maybe you read them instead of telling me to send even more e-mails to membership @ipse.co.uk. I am not a member!
