JayWay Travel Reviews

I have traveled on 7 different trips with Jay Way, they are always willing to hear my recommendations and find the best tours. Extremely professional in planning, picking hotels, drivers, transfers, tour guides and local contact wherever I have been.

Very organized, easy to use, with lots of choices for hotels, restaurants and excursions. All guides top notch. Perfect for a small group (we were 2). Third time we have used JayWay (Puglia, Switzerland, Croatia)

I am thrilled that I learned about JayWay when trying to customize a trip to Europe. JayWay customized an incredibly entertaining, stress-free, and thoroughly enjoyable trip taking me from Munich to Zakopane to Krakow and to Prague. JayWay managed all of my travel between and within countries, set me up on amazing tours in each location, and promptly answered all questions that arose. Best time I've had in years! Looking forward to customizing more trips through JayWay.

Would highly recommend Jayway. Considered three companies during early stages and picked the right one. Working with Elena for planning and Marianna on the ground, they put together a trip of a lifetime. Rome, Florence, stop in Pisa, Cinque Terre and a night in Milan. Perfect order to begin from the most exhausting but worthwhile excursions to some much deserved relaxation in PN5T…great hotels, itineraries and memories made. Must have said “wow” 200+ times in 10 days. Grazie per una vacanza fantastica!

JayWay Travel provided outstanding support in the planning of our trip, including suggestions for our itinerary, places to stay, as well as the best places to sample the regional cuisine. Additionally, our on site contact was always available during the course of our trip to help us with any questions and to resolve any issues. JayWay helped to make our trip to Austria very memorable.

Very professional and responsive in all matters pertaining to our trip.

From the initial contact with Rose to the final details with Denis, everything about our trip was beyond expectations. The caring follow-up by Denis when things may have not been perfect, was an unexpected bonus to feeling cared for on our trip. We enjoyed the activities, hotels had perfect locations and guides were first rate. Trip was great.

JayWay did an excellent job helping to plan and coordinate a 2-week trip to Croatia and Slovenia. They customized the itinerary to our desires and had wonderful staff to work with. All hotels and tours booked were top notch. Our trip was completely seamless and well coordinated. We felt well looked after during the entirety of our trip and would definitely use them for a future trip.

We were hesitant to go on a non-escorted trip or cruise, and had never heard of JayWay Travel. But the pre-trip and planning communication I had with tour 2 JayWay planners was clear as a bell and was tailored to exactly what we wanted to see and the style of travel we wanted. So we are very happy with their services. They helped us plan a complicated trip to Salzburg, Cesky Krumlov, Prague and Vienna. The hotels and restaurants they recommended were all excellent with absolutely no issues. There were many private transfers between cities, train station and airports as well as private walking tours. We had pre-printed vouchers for attractions and a train trip. All the drivers and guides all showed up exactly on time and were very professional, friendly and informative. The guides all spoke excellent English and were very well versed about the history, culture, etc of what we saw. We were always in good communication with our JayWay contact while on the trip; he helped us with questions and recommendations of what to do in our free time. He even came to our hotel and gave us flowers and wine, and was a very congenial person. He also helped me get a difficult problem solved with a European eSim card for my iPhone. We did have to think a bit about what to do and how we were going to get to various places within cities, and use Googlemaps app, which worked pretty well but not always. It was also nice that most everything was prepaid so we didn't have to fiddle with a lot of payments and wait in some lines. Doing a JayWay trip does involve some creativity and effort on one's part - it's not like a packaged tour where you don't have to think about anything. But the tradeoff is huge - we never could have seen exactly the places or spend enough time in them compared to a packaged tour or cruise, and would have missed exploring many interesting nooks and crannies and interesting local restaurants, nor did we need to go to places we didn't care about. Thanks to our JayWay contacts, this trip is one we will always remember dearly.

Use with confidence

I’ve been to 120 countries so have grounds for comparison .
Jay Way easily wins most attentive care.
They closely tracked our relatively complex ( 9 countries , 17 days) journey and the few times they needed to get involved they took immediate action
The guides, drivers and hotels all met or exceeded expectations

A 5 star salute

❤️ A Wonderful Experience with JayWay Travel! 🇮🇹

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with JayWay Travel! Everything was thoughtfully planned and seamlessly organized, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy the beauty of Italy without worrying about the details. We especially appreciated the personal touch, excellent support, and peace of mind throughout our trip.

Thank you, JayWay, for helping us create such beautiful memories! We would wholeheartedly recommend you to anyone planning a trip to Italy or Europe, and we would absolutely love to travel with you again!

Our trip to Croatia and Montenegro could not have gone more smoothly or have been more fulfilling. Every detail was taken care of. My husband and I prefer to receive help with a private tour, as opposed to being in a group. JayWay provided all the assistance needed - every private transport and tour guide arrived at our hotel to the minute. Every guide was incredibly informative and a complete pleaure to spend time with. As a result, the private tours added tremendous depth to our experience. En route, we missed our connection through Frankfurt, and Martina was available via text to offer advice regarding the best next steps, so as to not lose any more time than necessary at the beginning of our trip. She graciously greeted us upon our arrival in Dubrovnik to provide information, as well as extremely thoughtful welcome gifts. Every tour guide, including Martina, was personable and friendly; each enhanced our time beyond simply seeing the sites. Martina thoughfully arranged for our hotel to prepare a box breakfast, since we had a very early departure and would be missing the hotel breakfast. Again, every detail was taken care of, and it was reassuring to know that Martina was always available, if needed. I would use JayWay again, without hesitation and highly recommend JayWay for planning your next trip.

We can’t thank the JayWay team enough for such a beautifully designed, well-organized, and seamlessly communicated trip. They truly gave us a personally curated experience that was absolutely perfect for us!
As we leave Greece, we know we will deeply miss this beautiful country—its incredible food, rich culture, and, above all, its wonderful people. We are departing with full hearts, knowing we truly made the most of every single moment of our 21 days in this amazing place!
Our next trip is Italy and we will for sure turn to JayWay again to partner with for another unforgettable adventure! I highly recommend them!

Dependable, well paced, great transportation, readily available mid trip for any questions. Wonderful excursions. Dream come true, thanks to Jay Way!

Jay Way travel provided great service for out 2 week trip to Croatia. I like small tours, private pick ups at airports and ferries . They picked good hotels and were very fair priced. I had used other companies for international travel and Jay Way gives so, so much more personal attention. A must use company.

The best travel company I've found yet! They went out of their way to make my trip the best possible. I never felt rushed or like i missed out on something. Ill def use them sgain!

This was our third trip to Croatia using JayWay and we continue to be just as thrilled with their excellent service. From the beginning of planning the trip, they pay attention to every detail. I am accustomed to planning my own trips, transportation, etc., but we let JayWay handle three trips for us now and they were all perfect. Great drivers, great hotel choices, and really informative, fun excursions. On trip two, they included Venice and Ljubljana on our itinerary. On the third trip, they included a few nights in Mostar, Bosnia-Herzogovina. All were excellent additions to our Croatia vacation. Absolutely perfect customer service, friendly local representatives, and an itinerary custom-designed for our particular tastes. Excellent in all regards.

Exceptional service, showed compassion and care to us elderly. Received personal attention to our needs and wants.
Recommend it to anyone who visits Europe.

We have now used JayWay for 2 trips, first Greece/Croatia and recently Portugal. This is truly a first class operation. Initially the office puts together an itinerary consistent with your desires regarding accommodations and tours. They are very willing to tweak the plan until finalized. Subsequently, you are put in contact with a local rep who is available daily and coordinates the activities and more importantly resolves any issues. I cannot be more happier with the service they provide and can highly recommend them for trips to Europe.

My wife and I are currently on a two week JayWay Travel trip through Albania and Macedonia. The trip arranged for us with Melita has been exceptional. The hotels, the included tours, the customization have all been planned perfectly. Tea, our destination coordinator has been wonderful. Anytime we wanted to adjust a tour to add or subtract an attraction she has made it happen with ease. Every driver and tour guide they chose has been phenomenal. This has been such a great trip we booked three more destinations with them. The tour started 9/8/2026 and will end on 9/20/2026
