JayWay Travel Reviews

We had the most amazing holiday and the JayWay planning could not be faulted. It was all way above our expectations. Will definitely use JayWay for our next holiday.

This is our second year using Jay Way travel and once again they did not disappoint! From the amazing private and small group tours they arranged for us to all the pick ups and transports and most of all the wonderful staff! It is a pleasure to go away and know someone is with you from start to finish! From the beginning Melita was there daily to help curate the perfect trip and then to Eleni our representative in Greece, who was always available to chat, ask, confirm and if needed change!
I have and will continue to use JayWay and to refer them to friends, several of which have happily already used them. I highly recommend this company and Melita to help you get it going..

JayWay arranged a 9 day tour of Poland for us. It primarily consisted of getting us from one city to the next and followed by a walking overview of that new area. The guides were on time [usually 10 mins early] friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Exceptional. From beginning to end GW provided us with superior service at a reasonable price. I have already recommended GW to friends and will continue to do so in the future. The only reason I gave them 5 stars was b/c I couldn't give them 10.

I can't say enough how wonderful our experience was with JayWay Travel. Every detail was attended to from booking to the very end. Art, Lorenza and everyone was so attentive to our wants. Hopefully we get the opportunity to use them once again. I am so happy I found them.

Jayway Travel helped us plan an amazing family trip to Central Europe. We knew we wanted to visit the three capital cities of Prague, Vienna and Budapest. But as Americans we didn’t know how to navigate through three foreign countries, each with their own language and currency. That’s where Jayway Travel stepped in. It started with Rose, our U.S. based travel planner, who coordinated everything we needed, including hotels, excursions, transportation, guides, restaurants and even subway routes. As soon as we landed in Prague our driver was there to whisk us to our hotel. Each day after that was effortless and enjoyable. I was especially excited to meet our local host, Vanda, in her home town of Budapest. Once you travel with Jayway you will not want to travel any other way.

First time we've used a travel company in a very long time, and it won't be the last. They took care of every detail and planned a Prague and Croatia trip we loved every minute of. Everyone we worked with was fantastic — they really listened and offered great suggestions to help us make the most of our time. Their local knowledge of both destinations was invaluable. We can't wait to book our next trip with them!

JayWay did a 10 day itinerary in Romania. Was excellent. The hotel suggestions were great. The tours they set up for us were top-notch. Highly recommend.

Great team to help coordinate your travel plans.

It was great having JayWay lining up the transportation and they did a great job on the hotel selections. The site contacts were a plus for advice and references.

Amazing service and great people with whom to work! Our trip to Rome and Paris came together seamlessly and will definetely be using them again for future planning!! 100% recommend!

JayWay travel provides excellent, responsive, and comprehensive service to their clients. Our complicated trip to Greece required multiple transfers, tours, and hotel reservations. It went completely seamlessly with not one single issue or problem. Hotels were nice and exactly how they described and not one single driver our tour guide was late, in fact they were all early! In addition, our local contact went above and beyond for us, organizing excellent last minute excursions, additional rooms, and dinner reservations. I won't hesitate to use JayWay again and will recommend them to friends and family. Amazing company and team!!

Every step along the way of our trip was handled professionally. Ciaran helped us plan the number of days we would spend in each stop, activities we would do at each stop, transportation to and from our stops, and hotels that met our budget. He was always responsive to any questions we had.

Shortly after our flight landed in Berlin we met with Neil, the local coordinator of our 12 day trip. While no activities were scheduled with JayWay on that first day, Neil spent a number of hours with us. He gave us a partial walking tour of Berlin venturing into areas our JayWay guide was not planning to cover. Neil also went way above and beyond ordinary service by accompanying us on public transportation to visit the Olympic Stadium, an activity we planned on our own.

While we had no direct contact with Neil after the first day, he stayed in contact with us each day to be certain we were aware of what was scheduled, and also to give us ideas for extra activities and restaurants.

Every guide and driver JayWay provided for our trip showed up on time, spoke excellent English, and was polite and knowledgable.

JayWay Travel far exceeded our expectations on our recent trip to Croatia. From arranging transportation from our trip's first destination, Venice, to Rovinj, our first destination in Croatia, we knew we were in good hands with our on-site contact Tea. Planning the trip with Melita was a pleasure. The hotels she helped us select were all wonderful - - unique and convenient as they were all in or adjoining the historic towns. Many were family owned and we got to know the owners and hear their stories. Also, the excursions Melita suggested were wonderful.
We especially liked the all day tours to Istria (from Rovinj), Trogir (from Split) and Hvar. The guides were amazing and we learned much about the history and culture from them.
JayWay also suggested restaurants and made reservations both at those they suggested and others we found ourselves.
Both during the planning phase and while on the trip, Melita and Tea were professional, responsive and fun to work with. They truly listened to us and understood what we wanted to get out of our trip. The JayWay guest page was a very helpful resource.

I would highly recommend JayWay Travel! Our trip to Croatia was amazing and they were so easy to work with. If you are considering using JayWay, please do NOT hesitate!

Jayway took care of all the little details for our trip. Our host met us in Madrid and was a tremendous help in having us get the most of our. adventure.

JayWay Travel is a first-class company. They were very easy to contact. They listened and acted on our interests and needs for our stays in Prague, Vienna and Budapest. They did a first-rate job selecting the hotels we stayed in. They did a great job arranging our travel needs. The guides they selected were excellent, both in what they knew and how comfortable we were spending so much time with them. (They are included in our pictures.) We give JayWay five stars in all regards. We will use them again in the future.

We had an excellent trip to Croatia planned by Jayway. The hotels we chose with them were ideal for our family. They helped us craft an itinerary that was perfect. The transfers and tours were arranged impeccably and we had no issues with any of the drivers or guides coming on time. We truly enjoyed the guides on the tours they arranged, and learned so much from them. While we were there, we asked the local contact to help us find a photographer to take family pictures, and that was also a great experience. I will use them again for my next trip.

My husband and I, and two other couples who are our best friends, took "The Mountains and Lakes of Switzerland and Italy" trip to celebrate our 50th, 25th, and 49th anniversaries. It was a spectacular trip that was enjoyed by all. Although we have all travelled fairly extensively, none of us had been to any of these locations which is what drew us to this itinerary. Switzerland is spectacularly beautiful, as is Lake Como in Italy. JayWay helped us plan the trip start to finish, and our points of contact in both Switzerland and Italy helped smooth out any questions/issues once we were there. The customized website they developed for us which contained all the details of our trip including a lot more information on each of our locations, was extremely helpful as well. We had a great experience with JayWay and would definitely use them again.

Our 3rd trip with JayWay Travel was to Croatia and Slovenia and it was spectacular from the planning phase until the end of our vacation. Great communication during planning and while on trip. Interactive website is a very efficient and informative during the trip planning and final documents phase. The email and phone communications were exceptional in planning phase and while on trip. Staff was very professional and helpful.

JayWay planned our trip to Italy and Switzerland and we got a lot more than we expected. The level of hands-on support from start through the trip was incredible. We had a number of travel issues, all due to our airline and our own mistakes, and the people at JayWay were always available, even at 1 AM. Everything else was run perfectly. We couldn't ask for more from a travel company and will use them for all of our planned European trips.
