After dealing with appalling AI bots and finally getting onto a person, they advised that my order woudl be delivered today (a day late). It has not arrived, there has been no notification from JB HiFi or the courier company. After reading the other reviews I realise that I should NEVER have placed an order for delivery. I am very disapointed with the poor customer service from JB Hifi and will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Beware JB Hi Fi Online Sydney Website their advertisement i is very misleading regarding delivery options. They give three delivery options, the dearest one being $85 which states
“Deliver Unpack & Remove
“Everything included, deliver unpack plus get your old disconnected product of a similar size taken away.”
No mention is made that you require a plumber to come in and disconnect the older product if it is a Dishwasher.( but does not apply to washing machines!??!) Delivery person told me that ai should have received an email Informing me if same. Never happened, only received updated text messages regarding delivery time. Delivery driver advised ne to best ring our local JB Hi Fi store who told ne that they could for another $199 on top of price already paid they could could organise someone
to uninstall, unpack and install.
Why did JB Hi Fi online not make this clear prior to purchase of the Diswasher.

I purchased earbuds from another store and was opening them at JB Hi-Fi when a girl with orange hair and glasses shouted at me not to open them. She could have kindly informed me of the store's policy instead of yelling. As a British visitor to Sydney, I've never encountered such a rude salesperson. She could benefit from communication training or a customer service workshop. Her attitude was absolutely shocking.
90 minutes on hold… for support
Well its been over 90 minutes on hold for support tracking a product I bought on Jan 5th... Hung up then called JB Hi Fi Sales, and got straight through, they could not help they said and transferred me back to the Phone support "music".

Jb hifi online is a scam
Online store is a complete joke. I ordered a product for pre-order due to be released on the 16th of January, it is now the 4th of February and they still can't tell me when the product will be sent out. Customer service agents have no clue and apparently no contact with their suppliers. I have made multiple complaints on the phone and internet and yet nobody has reached out to me to give any answers or resolutions. I will never ever shop from them again. If you're happy with having your money stolen and nobody caring, go right ahead.

Ordered a door lock on 23 January. Despite lots of emails saying it’s coming it’s still not here at 2 February.
Been on hold for over an hour (23 people in the queue) to cancel this order.
Don’t shop here. Hours of wasted time , no service. Called on Saturday but they don’t pay for staff on weekends except for sales ! Avoid this company. They have gone down the drain since it was sold.
Promises broken
For the first time I ordered a product at JB Hi-Fi. I paid for express delivery - with the promise it would be delivered the next day. Today I am waiting for the delivery. The parcel did not arrive. I contacted JB Hi-Fi's Courier. They said the parcel will take at least another week before it is delivered. What is the point of paying for express delivery if it takes longer than it would have if I had paid for regular delivery? JB Hi-Fi are responsible for their supply chain. This was the first - and definitely last - time I have shopped with JB Hi-Fi. In future I will be avoiding them. Extremely disappointing.

Delivery service - falsely claimed delivery attempted
Ordered a product (small tech item) for delivery, as it wasn’t available at a store near me. Paid for the most expensive delivery option. To be delivered today. The quoted delivery window gradually moved from 8:48am earliest, to the last being between 4:14 and 6:14 pm.
At 5:03 pm I get a message that delivery was attempted unsuccessfully, and they will let me know where to collect it eventually.
I was home and very near the front door ALL DAY. If anyone comes to my door, my dog barks. Not today. Absolutely no way they came here. No card was left.
Why should I pay for such a fake “delivery” service?
UPDATE - the shifting delivery times began again next day, 30 Jan. No further mention of attempted delivery. Delivery time on SMS started at 9:50 am, then drifting later and later, until parcel finally delivered at 1:33 pm.
Happy it is over. Will never use JB Hifi delivery again. They used Team Global Express.

Attended JBHIFI at Carousel on the 24th Jan 2026 and Mathew assisted me with my query regarding my faulty Charge 6 FitBit. He did not weigh me down with senseless excuses, as has happened here in this store, in the past. What a delightful and patient young man. Professional and friendly. I used to dread coming into JB HIFI but Matt and Joel make the visit worthwhile. They didn't try to fob me off to "squaretrade". Joel has moved on now. I will always remember Joely's sincere and caring attitude. Thank you both for caring - you are both champions.

Electrolux vacuum’s sold, no replacement filterd available
JB Hifi sells Electrolux vacuum cleaners that they know don’t have replacement filters available in Australia! Very dodgy. Now I am stuck with a 6 month old vacuum cleaner in perfect condition that I need to bin. This company will do anything to make money.

I received assistance from a team member in the tech department and was pleasantly surprised by how knowledgeable he was about the different speaker options, which made the decision well informed and easy.

Very snappy and extremely rude and condescending.
Also, person on the floor was not helpful and didn't appear to care about any of my queries. Very offhand.

This has been the most frustrating online shopping experiences.
My delivery window was clearly scheduled between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, yet I received an SMS at 8:15 AM, followed by another at 8:30 AM stating the parcel was “unable to be delivered.”
I had two colleagues in the office from 8:00 AM, both of whom confirmed that no one attended, no doorbell was rung, and no card was left in the mailbox.
What made this even worse was JB Hi-Fi customer service’s response. After contacting JB Hi-Fi for support, I was told that I could call an Uber! That is an incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful response for a paid delivery service.
Update: Tracking now shows “Check address – held in depot.” The parcel was scanned at Woolloongabba and marked “Unable to locate delivery address,” which strongly suggests no delivery attempt was ever made.
This is not a delivery service, and the lack of accountability from both the courier and JB Hi-Fi is completely unacceptable.
Long wait time
Had to wait 3 hours to talk to a customer representative just to cancel one order! If you want to talk to them without having to call the wait time is 3-5 days. They most likely only have one person working the phone. The worker, however, was very efficient and it only took around 2 minutes to cancel the order.
Customer service and honesty
JB-Hifi Blacktown NSW staff Ms. Izzy called me whem I left my wallet after purchasing a product. She was very polite informing me and I was not even aware I left it there. All of its content and $600 cash are all there. Thank you so much. Great experience!

I left my Christmas shopping super last minute this year and accidentally added the wrong items to my cart. Thank goodness the customer service team helped me amend my cart and get everything delivered just in time!!

Worst online customer support I've ever experienced. Days to reply and when they do, can't solve the problem. Now apparently, I can't be refunded (even though I took the item into store) unless I fill out a fkn form? I am so sick of these idiots.
False and misleading advertising …
This is very very unreliable If you order online for click and collect they do not have many items in the store they say there is stock but when you purchase the delivery is days away I have been waiting a week this is false and misleading advertising I urge everyone to make a complaint to the ACCC (i have you donit online) to investigate this scam behaviour.
