The only disappointment was seeing JCB on the outside of the box, and underneath it was ‘Made in the P.R.C. ☹️

Petrol Woodchipper arrived damaged!
It arrived in a substantial plywood crate and at first everything looked fine.
When I began assembling it, I discovered that part of the main body was bent, preventing the axle from being fitted. The bent section was made from ¼‑inch steel, and the box showed no signs of damage. It would have taken a serious impact to bend steel that thick, so I can only assume it left the factory like this and their quality control failed to catch it.
The returns process requires you to re‑pack the machine (not easy when trying to get all the parts back into the crate) and have it collected, returned, and inspected before they will send a replacement. It was picked up last Wednesday, and I’ve heard nothing since — other than a request for a review.
I’m hoping a replacement is sent this week, because having ordered it on the 27th August, it being delivered 1st September, unboxed 2nd September, reported faulty on 3rd September and picked up for return on 9th September, it is going to be close to a month from ordering to having a working wood chipper.
I'll update this review with a review on their RMA process.

The machine itself is strong
The machine itself is strong, sturdy. However, after only 3 hours of use the drive belts were shredded.
I have no idea where to get replacements nor how to fit them, all a bit disappointing.
JCB read this review and contacted me immediately. They sent me replacement belts and a quick look at YouTube showed me how to replace them. All ok now. Many thanks for the swift service

Ordering and delivery was easy, would have been made better if they could have brought it further on the drive rather than kerbside as it’s a heavy bit of kit. Product is amazing though does the job perfectly
