It was a very sorely and disappointed experience gained from you, “shaw acedemy”. My friend Jaclyn Thu whom just subscribed for an one-month-trial course has been cheated as it was a fraud as her bank account suddenly got snatched for RM480 (USD $117) without the owner permission or any agreement had been done.Moreover, she tried to contact with your company within time but there is no any refundment has been completed.However, a police record is done today and the police is going to intercept and investigate the case. “Shaw Academy” is genuinely a fraud and scammer company, please be alert and refuse to take a course with them.

stay alert!!!!! There is no promises in this company! They robbed my money ! Today, shaw academy called me for asking me feedback ,then my money suddenly gone and is transferred to shaw online. They stolen my money rm480. It is a big amount for me. It is very heartbreaking for me and i am screwing up. Shaw academy is a fraud. I need your all attention to know that shaw academy is a scam! Don’t even trust them and don’t sign up! It is not a free trial courses. It is a trap! Be alert! And to shaw academy, please give me response and I want my refund. I want to get back my money. You are being reported everywhere. Your fraud action is spreading at every planforms.

I signed up for a 4-week free trial for Jewellery Design course. A couple of days ago, one of their agents called and asked how the trail was going and that I was one of the chosen students out of many to get free Course Toolkit, eCertificate and a Hardcopy diploma free of charge. I asked them to send me an email with this offer since I'm at lunch and can't continue the conversation and asked again for the confirmation that this is free of charge. After the conversation, I got a charge for €199!!!! When I contacted them they offered me a lifetime access to their courses instead of a refund like I am entitled to.

Please read the reviews and DO NOT sign up for a free trial or any of their courses. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS NOR PAYPAL. I have not received my money back yet!

I have reported them as a scam to the UK police. They have not only debited the money from my bankcard for nothing, but
- they "sold" me a diploma for the course what I have not even started, which is a faux
- they charged me for 2 toolkit what I have not got and what I did not ordered
- they debited more money from my account than the price of their service according to the Apple store (for example the price of the certificate on the Apple Store is £17.99, but the debited £49.99 from my account for it (and I did not ordered is as I have not even started any of their courses)
- the more serious act what they do is the real CRIME, as they keep and use your personal information, as you cannot cancel your account from their website.

PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER TO THEIR WEBSITE, otherwise you could never be sure that you data and your money are in safe.

I registered with shaw today because i saw their ads that says free 4 week Excel online course. I saw it on Instagram. I clicked their name/profile picture. I was on their IG website. I clicked Learn More at the bottom and I was brought up on their main website. I registered my email and password, as well as my bank details. I received an email to download their app and I clicked and installed it. A pop up showed, i clicked eCertificate. An email received about toolkit, i clicked it. Then i received a text message from my bank that says they've temporarily blocked my card. I called them immediately. And viola! There was a charged from shaw of two Php299.99 which I was not notified of. I got stressed. I can't stop thinking how dare are they to steal money just by clicking something without any price on it. Like wth! Now, I am really trying hard to email to stop my subscription with them, delete my account and full refund my money. And you know what they said? They cannot refund because i already purchased it and its on their terms and conditions. I'm like, what did I purchased? You pop up something, make me click it, tell me that i need this and that but guess what? It is your way to steal money from our bank. Also, they even extended my trial up to 3 months instead of 30 days and give more complimentary. Like i don't need those. I demanded for full refund and cancellation of my account with shaw. I can't study on a academy that scams you. They say it's free and will just charge you after your trial period but nope, they charge you every click. Can someone help me to demand a full refund of my money? Can someone slap them with the words "cancel my subscription" and "give me back my money"? I need to call them as well as part of the final step of confirming that i cancelled my account with them like wth! Help me please. I just want to gain more knowledge this quarantine times, but i didn't expect this stressful situation would happen to me in order to get that "more knowledge" that i want. I've read what's written on every pop ups, emails, etc... But the just auto charge me for whatever i clicked.

Don't join this site, they will take your money.

My 15 year old son signed up for a "free trial" with Shaw Academy to do a baking course. I read through the options and what was on offer and this seemed like a good idea. I was a little perturbed by the fact that they needed my bank card but, in my experience, most companies offering free trials, such as Amazon, will do this and so we put my card details in.

As he was browsing through the course materials, he clicked on an option for more details relating to some further course materials, a toolkit, to see what this was. This immediately recorded a purchase of the toolkit of £49.95.

We immediately emailed Shaw Academy (helpfully, there are no telephone numbers on their website), advising them of the situation. I told them that he had not opened the toolkit or used it and that he had not wanted to purchase it. We were advised that, basically, it was our tough luck. The terms and conditions are clear that it is a one click purchase.

There was a lot of back and forth but ultimately, they refused to refund the payment.

As he was going through the course, we had multiple telephone calls from their sales team. When I explained the difficulties I had already had, they offered me a £50 discount on a further course or toolkit! This was refused.

He finished the course and that was that. I have then today had a further £49.95 taken from my account as part of a continuing subscription, despite the fact that he completed the free trial over 3 months ago!!

Again, I have not been able to call them and have submitted emails via their website. I have then tried to "cancel" the membership. This leads through 5 different screens, asking if I am sure I want to cancel and offering me various amazing savings. When I finally reached the end, I was then told that, in order to cancel the membership, I needed to call a premium rate number so that one of their guidance counsellors could find out the reason I wanted to cancel and whether we had got sufficient use from the course!!!

SCAM! This company is attempting to take £199.95 from my account without authorisation or written notification! Be aware, even if you have not given bank details, they will try to take it via PayPal. If you see a small amount taken by them via PayPal, e.g 0.30 then refunded, this means they will then take another bigger amount later. You need to cancel any 'subscription' they set up on your PayPal account. I have cancelled the 'free' course. DO NOT USE them, terrible!
Will be taking further with all relevant bodies if not resolved.

I enrolled in the free 4 week trial of the Fashion design course on Nov 3, today while my page was loading clicked on Module certificate (which had no price indication on or around it) There was NO message on my computer to indicate a payment requirement for that or permission to proceed with paying on my end before billing $40.49 from my paypal.
I promptly removed them from my paypal account because I had no idea they were under automatic payments especially since it was a trial.

I sent several emails asking for a full refund, all they did was offer me freebies which I had absolutely no interest in!

I only wanted a trial. I do not NEED ANY of these "free" things you have offered.

I will shall leave extremely accurate reviews of my negative experience with this organization on social media as well as on every business review page UNTIL I receive a FULL refund.

Me ha pasado igual que ustedes chicos, me he inscrito en un curso gratuito de 4 semanas y en la segunda decidí cancelarlo, bien complicado por cierto para cancelar!!! Cuando pensé que ya estaba todo hecho al mes intentaron cobrar casi 50$ menos mal tengo bloqueada la tarjeta y no pudieron hacerlo, así ha sido los últimos 2 meses, han intentado hacer el cobro 6 veces y por más que les escribo para que ya no sigan insistiendo no hay forma, le escribo por email y me contestan otra cosa que no tiene nada que ver con la situación, evaden mis preguntas y acusaciones de intento de cobro, son una total estafa, NO LOS RECOMIENDO!!!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Worst company ever. What a nightmare. First off they harass you when you sign up. Calls, emails, texts you name it. It got so annoying that I wanted to cancel immediately. I went online to cancel and they insist you do it by calling and make you jump through hoops to do so. I called and spent another 20 mins on the phone trying to cancel with a woman who was giving me the runaround. She finally told me she canceled it and reassured me I would NOT be charged 10 times over.

Complete Scam, they make it near impossible to cancel subscription and charge you even if you try cancel. How is this legally allowed to operate???

Scam Academy! Stay far away from them! Do NOT fall for their tricks like me and so many others! They will not refund my money after asking to place my trial membership on hold, they did not and just charged my visa! Bombarded with endless emails telling me I missed my class! Now...silence since I want a refund!

When you're signed up wanting to see what they are about for the free trial they charge you for something without approval.... When you ask what that was and ask your money back they say it is impossible and that you approved to buy something Frome the site.... REPORT THE SCAM!!!!!

Do not sign up hidden link to payment and then they refuse to refund even if you have not attended a single class or access any material no response to emails do not believe any words or false free classifieds they publish they jst care about money and not education

Shaw Academy stole 59.99 € from my bank account few days ago. I did not authorize that or any other transaction. I canceled my Shaw Academy's membership months ago (in July), even during the free trial period. I did not want to extend my membership in any way and I have not approved any payment of their programs, certificates, etc. and have not requested any of it.
I have not accessed any of their courses since I deactivated my account. My account has not been active since July and has never been reactivated. My money was taken illegally.
I will take fraud action against them!
