A solid workplace performer

This is a very helpful, effective, workplace tool. It is cost effective and the support is outstanding. I only wish their payroll system integrated with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.

Homebase is easy to use

Homebase is an easy to use platform that really helps me manage the staff hours/timeclock.
I purchased Homebase for my previous employer and was so happy to be able to switch my new employer over to it as well! The price is reasonable and the reports are so easy to download to a spreadsheet. Thanks for being a great option!!

Our controller thinks that Homebase customer service is rinky dink

A fraudulent payroll was submitted. Homebase was unwilling/unable to cancel the payroll in a timely manner.
The call center troubleshooter was unwilling to escalate our repeated calls to a decision maker with the authority to resolve our issue.
Our controller thinks that Homebase customer service is rinky dink. She was particularly frustrated that she was forced to waste hours of time on a few serious time sensitive issues that could have been resolved in a 3 minute phone call.

Quite frankly I do not know how I…

Quite frankly I do not know how I managed before I found Homebase. I use the free version to schedule my wife's team of caregivers. As her primary caregiver I don't have time to handle this task manually and it has simplified my life considerably. I can well imagine how beneficial it would be to a business, either large or small. I appreciate the constant updates and innovations added by the Homebase team.

Homebase is a wonderful time-saver!

Homebase is great for bundling staff scheduling, time clocks, PTO and time off tracking, and doing payroll. We love the HR Pro support as well.

We keep having issues with our payroll…

We keep having issues with our payroll not being submitted on time due to slow work in whatever department does wire payments. Still cannot get our Guideline connected.

Issues for years! Horrible Customer Service.

Update to Homebase's response:
I am still waiting on a resolution for my current issues. Took two tries to get anyone involved to actually figure it out, but haven't gotten a response. I have started chats before and spoke to people, and nothing gets resolved. Only yesterday after 45 minutes and having to get a supervisor was I even given a possible resolution. We will be cancelling as soon as we have a new service up and running. It is really a shame, because Homebase USED to be really good and helpful!

Original Review:
We have had this service since 2018. We have had issues during the entire time. Mostly with notifications. Sometimes they implement updates, which resets all notification settings. Meaning my employees will get nothing, and they are all on call! We have also lost entire message threads multiple times. Each time they do not know why, and just tell us oh well, there is nothing they can do. Customer service is horrible and always has been. They do not care at all. I was on the phone for over 45 minutes trying to get notifications fixed for one employee. After them making it seem like our fault the entire time, they told me there was a setting wrong on the back end preventing that employee from getting notifications. There was not even an apology! I told that person we would be looking for a new service ASAP, and he did not care at all! Here I am again currently on hold for missing messages! They should have stuck to scheduling and messaging, they did that great back in the day. When they added payroll and HR stuff, that is when it went way downhill overall! DO BETTER!

Find another app

The customer service is sub par and does not seem to care at all. When things don't work there are no educated responses and a true lack of compassion. Quick response and no follow through. Have used them for several years and keeps getting worse. I have let alot of things go, but have decided after today's customer service issue, I will cancel my $1000.00 yearly subscription that is overinflated for what is offered and move on.
