There are multiple reasons why you shouldn't go with JFT unless you want your case to fail..

Firstly, JFT charges one of the highest fees among RRO organisations, taking 30% of the award, whereas several other services charge closer to 20%.

The biggest problem was the lack of responsiveness and delay in handling our case. We provided all requested documents, including witness statements and supporting evidence, but our case then sat with JFT for around five months with no meaningful update or progress. As a result of this delay, we were unable to claim for part of the eligible rental period because the statutory deadline had passed after we had already moved out for more than a year.

Even after the tribunal issued its decision, there was also a two-week delay in transferring the awarded funds to us.

Overall, the experience was frustrating and fell short of the level of support and efficiency we expected when seeking assistance with an RRO claim.

JFT was hugely helpful in helping me get to a resolution with a legal tenancy dispute. They were thorough and organised in their response and put me in touch with a solicitor who could help on a no-win, no-fee basis. Thank you!

I approached JFT after discovering my landlord didn't have the correct license, and they were extremely helpful in supporting my RRO case (which was successful). After contacting multiple organisations looking for advice on how to deal with a very stressful situation I'm facing with my landlady, I have finally found one that has really helped, given great advice and information and even referred me to a solicitor, on a no win, no fee basis. Justice for Tenants helped me through the process of deciding if I was able to submit a Rent Repayment Order, they pointed out that I wasn't able to due to a certain law that I wasn't aware of which saved me time and effort filling out the RRO form. They did however help me realise that I could put in a deposit claim and referred me to partnered solicitor who could help me through the claims process.

I would not go anywhere near these. I had contacted these on many occasions about an unconverted commercial property that were being let as a HMO that I was living in. They never responded after the first email.

As the adage says 'if you want a job doing do it yourself'. Thankfully I did as I knew they wouldn't be up for the challenge when all the evidence was there

Me and my ex-housemates used their services after being evicted.

Phone is not being answered and make you wait forever for nothing and waste the time. The website has no proper contact details. Only available way is via Web Form where they ask to provide all the details and then never reply to the emails. This service is designed to create a hope and waste of time.

I had a time sensitive issue, it was suggested that I contact Law society, which I did. There was unlimited solicitors for my choosing however, no one could help me with my issue. I am disappointed with the service I received. I provided my personal details and explained my issues, hoping for tailored advice or a direct conversation. However, instead of personalised assistance, I received a generic, lengthy reply that I could easily find online. This was not what I was expecting, and it did not help address my specific concerns. I expected more attentive and customised support. Very disappointed with the experience.
