I communicated and met with Lillie Blackabee for the viewing of a property, and she was extremely approachable and friendly throughout. She was willing to guide me closely in going through the offer process as it was my first time doing it. I did not end up going through with this property for unrelated reasons but I will definitely reach out to her if I need to look for a property again.

We were tenants in a flat managed by Leaders. For a while they were ok, not amazing but they got things sorted after a little while. Something changed in the last months of our tenancy and then it was like they just stopped bothering. Things were going wrong in the flat and they showed no interest in resolving them. They were telling us that things were in progress (they weren't) then we'd hear nothing, then they'd just ignore us. Eventually we had to get directly in contact with the landlords to ask them to step in, and Leaders just ignored them too!

When the tenancy ended they charged us for an extra day of rent despite the fact that we had very clearly given the correct notice and the final date in it was correctly worded, they also tried to charge us for things which were just not issues or were already issues when we moved in. The landlords stepped in again and we achieved a fair settlement, thank goodness for decent landlords!

In short, Leaders were fairly uninvolved for most of our tenancy, but completely checked out in the last 8 months. As soon as the tenancy ended and they wanted money they were suddenly all over us.

If I were the landlords I'd be looking to recover significant fees from them for the fact that they were not doing their job, and we, as tenants, are looking to recover funds from them as a result of them not maintaining the property to an appropriate condition.

Friendly and helpful agent

The view was fantastic and it was friendly and well mannered. He made us feel more comfortable and friendly .

Lack of communication. Outstanding repairs. Not had a working oven for over a week now and reported various problems but nothing done as unable to contact landlord for permission to spend money but miraculously able to contact landlord when increasing rent by 5% each year.

My experience with leaders was on the whole very good. There were a couple of problems including the grass being matted and uncut. The landlord has since sorted this.
I found all the girls in the office/ on the phone to be very pleasant and helpful.
