Still incompetent

I'm trying to get my deposit back and they just seem too incompetent to process it. Not even given any excuses to deduct things yet, just ghosting me. I moved out nearly 2 months ago. I'm going to have to go to TDS just to make them answer any questions.

Over my time dealing with them (less than a year) I've had 3 faulty contracts, 2 incorrect move out dates, several repairs completely ignored including one BROKEN EXTERNAL DOOR, threatened my pets at Christmas and about three GDPR violations.

I just want this to be over so I can never have anything to do with them ever again.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Not interested in helping

As soon as they heard I was also having issues outside their remit, they jumped on this as an excuse to ignore everything that was within their remit and refused to talk to me any further.

Dangerous idiots

The nightmare continues. I received an almost satisfactory response to my complaint, but they haven't processed my moving out properly and nearly blocked a payment to me. So I'm now still at risk of debt collection due to their incompetence.

Do not use under any circumstances, absolutely every interaction with them has been been handled by a dangerous idiot making severe legal errors.

They also never completed essential repairs discovered at the beginning of my tenancy.

As dishonest as they are incompetent

I am trying to move out. They are trying to say I can't because they are now trying to say the contract I refused to sign because it was wrong is valid. The contract they admitted was wrong. The contract they cancelled, and in writing said I'm on a rolling tenancy instead.

I am pretty sure this is revenge for reporting them to the council, who were horrified at their failure to carry out essential repairs.

Or maybe because the landlord is trying to sell and they want it to look like a show home not someone's living area.

I just want nothing to do with this company ever again but even on my way out they are harassing me.

No money,only excuses

Failed to provide paperwork. Almost impossible to contact. Constantly moved goalposts. Appalling app and claims process.

If you are a company thinking of using them to streamline employee expenses, think again. You will have to hold their hand through the whole process and deal with so many complaints.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

The name is the most polite thing you will say while using it

Horrific, use of this will put you at risk of homelessness. Interface is only via chat bot which tells you nothing about what steps are ahead or what documentation you will need, if you don't have something to hand right now never say that or it stops where it is and submits the entire application. It's not possible to talk to a human, and it rejects things like contracts from major employers. Avoid at all costs.

Actually harder work to deal with their…

Actually harder work to deal with their lettings than it is to BUY a house. They screw up paperwork, use appalling referencing processes which don't even work properly, and don't do essential repairs. Look forward to being able to move out, but I'm sure they will make that an absolute nightmare too.

Saved the day when Europcar screwed me over

Europcar gave me a Computer Says No when I tried to pick up the booked van. Phoned around and Europcar happily sorted it.

One star down because it was pretty beaten up and I had a minor breakdown but they were very chilled and the Mansfield Road staff were brilliant.

NEVER use for moving house

If you are in the process of moving house your identity may be unable to be verified leaving you stranded in an industrial estate and with no van to move house with. Enterprise saved the day, used them instead.

I'm being really generous and giving 2 stars as the previous hire went really well.

Repeatedly didn't read or lost emails and accused me of not sending them. Or didn't even bother telling me that had lost them and just held up the process, and told someone else I hadn't sent them.

Customer service just gaslight and refused to help

My parcel was marked as delivered to store when it was not. There wasn't even a delivery at the alleged time. Customer services wouldn't listen and told me it was at the store and I should go there, even after I repeatedly told them I had done that and it was most definitely not.

After the first incompetent person passed me to a supervisor, the supervisor continued the same nonsense although mentioned in passing it hadn't actually been scanned in at the store, proving it was NOT there. They still thought it more likely that it was at the store we had spent 10 minutes searching, wasn't scanned into, and is physically impossible to get to that early in the morning, than at the depot.

After threatening to submit a complaint and give bad publicity, the supervisor eventually said they would raise an exception with the depot, which is what the first person should have done right away rather than half an hour of idiocy and gaslighting.

I have heard nothing from the depot.

Update: Yodel still haven't found it and even the customer service team are going towards gaslighting rather than admit it was lost or stolen.

Best show I've ever seen

Absolutely amazing combination of live and recorded music, video and SFX. I've been a been a big Abba fan for years and always thought some of their best songs weren't necessarily the hits, and they played most of my favourites! My all time favourite is the opening one, updated for the 2020s even better!

Surprisingly legitimate!

Chicwish have a lot of red flags for being dodgy but actually they are not just another low quality fast fashion brand. All items I have ordered look exactly like the photos and comfortably fit well. They have their own look rather than stealing other people's designs. I have an awkward body shape and their designs often use stretchy knitted fabric which really helps. The fabric may be on the cheap side but I think the prices are entirely reasonable for what it is.

Ruined Christmas

I pay a lot of money for the top level of membership. The AA ruined my partner's Christmas by taking FIFTEEN HOURS to get him home, via a 3rd party relay service which was even more dangerous than being stranded on the road! They also screwed up and closed the job while he was dumped at a service station. If they had been honest that they had nobody available and there was no hope of rescue that day he could have been rescued for the night and gone back in the morning. Dishonest, dangerous, and violated the terms of the contract I have with them.

False advertising

I entered what said it was a draw for a house. My confirmation says "one million pound house draw". It was actually a raffle for a car. This was hidden on their website and nowhere on the email did it actually mention a car. Be very careful what you're entering, it may not be what it seems to be.

Don't believe a word they say about delivery times

Ordered in April and told it might take 2 months. Still waiting in December. They were dishonest about delivery times and made excuses later. They are a very unreliable dropshipper, it's a gamble whether they will get things in stock you ordered.

Update: Their customer service is so bad it took them over a year to even notice the negative review, by which time they had apparently lost all record me of ever ordering from them! That's the most charitable view of the below comment.

Edit - Penny. We're asking if were are even the company you are reviewing? We cannot find any historical order in the name of Penny Jackson. Was the order placed with us in that name.
Not being aware of reviews on trustpilot bears no resemblance to our business services. We were only made aware of the profiles existance 3 days ago. Hence why we are now responding to genuine reviews as asking question where relevant.
So please, we ask again. If this review is genuinely about us can you contact us by email to confirm what name the order was used to place the order. This will hopefully enable to us to track the order down and correct any issue.

Never trust their advice

They seemed really helpful following an accident, unfortunately it turned out they had given me completely duff information about what I needed to do following an accident which due to legal technicalities meant I was unable to claim for some of the costs incurred. I was also misled on my entitlement to courtesy cars and got screwed over as a result of their failure there too.

Incapable of basic common sense

I was referred towards them following a car accident. They cannot understand the most basic concepts which aren't on their form. They asked for a lot of irrelevant information, but when it came to the information that actually mattered their minds went completely blank and I have spend months trying to explain the basic concept of how a car gets written off (which you would think they would know) and what that can cost. Would never use given a choice.

Ordered a delivery from Gousto

Ordered a delivery from Gousto. I had concerns when I didn't even have confirmation of delivery timeslot by lunchtime. They completely failed to show up, and as it's fresh food I don't think they can redeliver the next day. All the delicious food I was looking forward to in the bin because Yodel couldn't be bothered to deliver it.
