Staff were welcoming but food horrific
Staff were welcoming and we were approached as we walked in. Polite and courteous staff. It seems like it needs a little update as a few of the seats had black masking tape covering holes and wear and tear. I'm sure you could have got chairs re-covered or even use pink masking tape. At first glance it all looks nice and modern/pink themed like a American diner, but as you spend time in there you see that it's not in the best condition, even the seat at the door that you wait on has masking tape covering holes. One of the main chairs in a booth type situation has masking tape the size of a cushion right in the middle and I'm sure that can't have been comfortable to sit on. Apart from that it's in good condition considering the shops been there for quite a few years but appearance is everything and if I had come here for the first time I would have turned away, and if realised it was that run down I probably wouldn't even have gone in.
Very very disappointed with the food we bought. I have not been for a while, so thought we would go as it's usually really nice.
First of all we had the Bueno crêpe with "Bueno ice cream" apparently. First off I'm not too sure that the crêpe was freshly made, it was under cooked, rubbery and tasteless. And I mean no taste at all. And for £9.95 that's a huge waste of money. Plus it was quite small compared to some others we have had.
The "chocolate sauce" had a bitter taste to it, an after taste.
Now the Kinder Bueno ice cream was rank. It had a rancid taste like it was gone off. We all like Bueno but this was horrific. So disgusting. So disappointing to have spent our money and time and we get home to this nasty stuff.
Even to look at the crêpe you can see how pale it is. You can see it's not cooked properly. It needs holiday for a sun tan as to how pale it was. Very upset that she has to throw this away and has wasted her money and time.
I also bought a plain waffle and it was floppy, rubbery and very undercooked. I understand you were busy but that doesn't take away from your waffle maker has a timer, I'm sure you would AGAIN have seen that it was undercooked. I'm now going to have to re-cook over my waffle. As this is not cooked properly either. I tried to taste some of the edge and it had a bitter taste. We were not able to eat ANYTHING that we purchased.
gift card scam
I received a gift card for £15 from a friend. I visited the Soho store in person to use the gift card when it was still active, and was told I can only use it online on their app. I tried using it on the app without success. I had to visit the store again who advised me to contact the main office. I emailed them and explained the situation and that I have been trying for a month to use this card. After exchanging 6 emails with them, I was informed that my physical gift card has an 8 digit code on the back, which does not work on the Kaspa's app as it is different from their digital vouchers. I was also told that they will forward my request to the branch and request that someone from their management team get in contact with you. It's now been over a month since I first messaged them to let them know of the impossible system they have in place with gift cards. It seems that they are using the delay tactic to get me to give up chasing and I will most likely lose my £15.
Kaspas can't seem to cook crepes…
Kaspas can't seem to cook crepes properly every time I order they are raw eggy and still lumps of flower in them. Completely over priced for rubbish quality food.
Not being told they don’t have plates until after I bordered….
Visited the Romford branch for our first time at Kaspa’s. Sadly this visit was really disappointing. We were sat at our table, given menus and placed our order via the app - No issues. We then were given our food in takeaway containers because the dishwasher supposedly was broken, meaning we had to try and eat out of a box - something we were not made aware of and would have definitely changed our mind on ordering if known beforehand. The food when it did get brought out was also somehow almost cold, considering how quiet the restaurant was. Overall was a very poor experience and based on this we would not likely visit one of the restaurants again. To top this all off, I tried to log this via the app and it told me my order number (2163431) was not valid, so couldn’t even contact them directly of my issues.
Came to kaspa's today Sunday 11th…
Came to kaspa's today Sunday 11th January 2026 and can honestly say this place has gone downhill. Had to wait over 20 minutes for one of the desserts. What's the point in ordering together if they are not going to come out at the same time. This will sadly be my last time coming to kaspa's.
Slow service rude manager
The service was very slow (the actual guy serving was lovely the rest weren't) the orders came out mixed tables and took ages, my sons had finished eating completely by the time mine came out so I was sat eating on my own, the manager couldnt have looked less interested in anything I had to say and pretty much rolled her eyes when I also pointed out no toilets had loo roll, it was not busy at all in there so no excuse really, bar the one guy showing people to tables the rest were not friendly or approachable
Complete lack of hygiene in preparing…
Complete lack of hygiene in preparing food. Long disgusting hairs in food. I will not be surprised if I get food poisoning.
Kaspa's is consistently fantastic
Kaspa's is consistently fantastic. Huge menu selection, incredible tasting waffles and sundaes, and great presentation. A truly indulgent and perfect sweet treat every time! Would recommend to everyone!
Peterborough Kaspas
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit the Kaspas Peterborough restaurant during what appeared to be a particularly busy period. Despite the evident stress and pressure, the staff performed exceptionally well in managing the situation, even in the face of some complaining and impolite customers. They offered assistance whenever possible, and from my perspective, the customer service was delightful, as they clearly put forth their best effort. My sincere commendation goes out to the three individuals who were working that shift.
Customer service
I ordered Kaspas through the app and paid then when I got to the store to pick up my order I was told the app was down so they hadn’t got my order so I needed to re order it and pay in store. I have emailed Kaspas customer service twice (first email on 31/10/2025) about getting a refund for my order on the app as I paid twice, however I have not had a response from anyone.
Paid for extras, but they didn’t send them
Recently I ordered a waffle through the Deliveroo app and paid for extra white chocolate sauce and white chocolate flakes. However, neither of the extras came with my order. I was disappointed because I paid extra for something that wasn’t delivered. I hope more attention is given to the details and that orders are sent correctly in the future.
Terrible
Terrible, orderd on uber eats twice both times stuff comes cold and I was only about a 10 min drive from shop ridiculous must have come straight out the fridge or freezer was ice cold horrendous sort it out or get new staff
Avoid
This place needs reporting which I will be doing on Monday.50 mins for 3 drinks by a rude waiterr at Helen’s branch. Asked for a refund as I had to go to work and he refused. Poor service and drinks are terrible. I will be taking this to trading standards on Monday.
I ordered three creamy brown sugar teas…
I ordered three creamy brown sugar teas with tapioca pearls but instead received drinks with juice balls. When I called to explain the issue, I was told (quite rudely) that it was tapioca before the person hung up on me. This was very disappointing — not only was my order incorrect, but the customer service was extremely unprofessional. I would never order from there again or recommend it to anyone.
Refused to let custom in way before close
Absolutely everything went wrong. I will never return to here. I come here arriving at 8.23 and they close at 9 o clock. I walked in and they said to me in a very rude manner ‘we’re closed now’ i obviously replied with ‘you close at 9 there’s still over half an hour left’ to which the lady RUDELY replied with ‘well we’re having a meeting so we’re closed’ and i’m not being funny but there was still slightly over half an hour till they close and they could have said it nicer or had their meeting as i ate my food on a separate table . i traveled from grain for this and saw advertised online a buy one get one free waffle so planned a dinner date with my friend. and to have this rude interaction chucked in our face was a massive let down. this was the kaspa’s in dockside and the lady with brunette hair. manners cost you nothing you should be ashamed

Pink-haired server wearing a black baseball cap was extremely rude to us. Walked up without saying a word and threw the menus and cutlery onto the table with a bang and walked off. If you think this job is beneath you, I can tell you now you won’t do better.
Beyond awful. Too much effort for them.
Beyond awful. I tried to call them over 15 times over 3 days, during thier opening to book. I went down and booked it for 11 children, for my daughters birthday. Booked for 11 children. They put us on a table that didn't even fit their plates on.
I then kept being told we have to leave the other 3 tables free, for other customers. There was no one in there and the mums of the children were ordering from them also.
My sister made them aware she wasnt part of the party and she made her separate order and when she asked for cutlery she was told to take it from the table with 11 children on it. There was only 11 sets there. They reluctantly bought more over to her.
When leaving they shouted your welcome. I deliberately didnt say thank you, as they wouldnt even clear the table to open her presents with her friends. So, i had to use another table. I left the wrapping paper behind as they were acting like it was too much trouble us being there. When we were the only people there. They wouldnt even come and take the order at the table either.
They said they couldnt not put sauce on a waffle. They couldnt put it in a pot, as someone wanted they separate for their child.
Very poor customer service with no smiles and dry and cold waffles.
Best waffle in town
I'm obsessed with their waffles! The flavors are amazing and the texture is perfect crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside . Perfect environment and service the staff is really sweet especially Rubab❤️ she was really nice.
