Ordered calendar end of November 2025, delivery planned end of march 2026, delayed several times till end of June. When I requested the refund, they sent it, received mid July, broken items, missing cards! Also got mail asking for 85 USD extra shipping, for both orders. One money request after the item was delivered. They are unaware of orders. Bad association for Ghibli. Quality of items cheap.

Everything is beautiful, and I’m so happy with the quality! They also have great communication throughout the process.

I received an advert calendar as a gift. It was beautiful made, the pieces were so thoughtful and well made. It made each day exciting. I loved the present I received.

Following my first order I will order again from this company especially for the advent calendar’s. You won’t be disappointed by the quality of what you get. The advent calendar’s are so beautiful you can continue to display and use them. Customer service is excellent fast and helpful responses.

I have ordered the Studio Ghibli Advent Calendar 2025 (Second Release) on December 1st, 2025. There has been NO followup about my order until I've contacted them in January telling me they are "restocking" as it's a pre-order. Then on March when I've contacted again they told me the they have a surplus of orders as stock just came in, and it is really hard to ship it all on timely manner. Now fast forward May they have mentioned AFTER I've contacted them again that they cannot ship internationally due to global conditions unless I pay extra 91$ (add on to the 987 AED + 100 AED shipping that I've already paid) just so I'd get my order. I can't even view the product on their website anymore. I'd rather have them notified me beforehand on the logistics and refund me immediately rather than this cat and mouse chase.
Now that I've requested refund confirmation they told me that they'll relay my message to the Finance team. I KNOW for a fact they won't update me unless I email! major WTF since I ordered this as a gift for someone. :/ I had my doubts but blindly went in to order... I regret it.

edit- the amount has just been refunded, it's June 17th. My tip would be- tread with caution if you order form this website. They're honest at least, but very, very slow.

I ordered the advent calendar of the Kiki’s delivery service and I’m just delighted.
The craftsmanship is absolutely amazing!
You can see the love and the hard work of the team.
I’ve already ordered the next one and I’m sure it will be as beautiful as this one.
Also.. the customer service team always got back to me if I hade a question, they are very kind and helpful.

The detail on each present is unbelievable.
Even the card that explains each item is freaking beautiful.

Yeah it took over a year to get here but, I mean, it is a handcrafted/painted and selected.. Coming from Asia to Central America.
Most bad reviews here are from people who are too used to mass-produced-inmediately-delivered-bullshit.

Plus they always replied to my e-mails in a timely manner.

Mais je ne mettrais pas 5* car j'ai eu deux pièces un peu abîmé, pour les joindre c'est une calamité et pour le suivit du colis... l'horreur... Commander en novembre 2025 reçu en mai 2026. 72€ de frais de douane supplémentaires... Mais c'est pas grave, j'ai déjà pré-commandé le calendrier de l'avent de 2026 😁😁😁😁😁😁

My daughter ordered an advent calendar in October 2025. It is now May 2026 and she still has not received it. I emailed the company who stated they just arrived in the US and would be shipped to us within the next week. That was April 23rd. Do not buy from this company.
Update 5/17/2026 We finally received the calendar. My daughter loves everything and nothing was damaged. I have to say all of the pieces were impressive! I hate that it took disputing the charge with the bank to receive her order. 5 stars on the product itself but zero stars on communication and delivery time.

The calendar itself is nice. However, if something goes wrong, good luck. Still waiting for a replacement of a broken item I received IN DECEMBER! This is ridiculous.

4.5 rounded up to 5. The calendar itself is beautiful and well-crafted. The items feel truly unique and satisfying. I was really happy with it. However, they were slow to update on shipping information. If you reach out, they're very helpful and communicative and like I said, the stationery calendar was beautiful.

I really wanted to love this calendar.
The concept is genuinely brilliant, and you can clearly see the passion behind it, the design of the calendar itself is beautiful and very thoughtfully done.
However, unfortunately the execution didn’t match the idea.
From early on, there were issues. I received duplicate drawers and damaged items, which immediately took away from the experience. One of the main items I had upgraded for the silver Jiji necklace was missing, and it took until April to finally receive a replacement after ordering in early December. ( this was arranged speaking to a human via Instagram, avoid their email team , 'Olga' led me on a goose chase.
That completely changed the experience for me. An advent calendar is meant to be enjoyed day by day, and having that uncertainty and waiting months for resolution really took away from what should have been a special experience. It was honestly quite upsetting at the time.
There were also multiple operational issues:
Items arriving chipped or broken, due to insufficient padding in the drawers
No surplus stock available for replacements
Very inconsistent customer service email responses were slow and often felt like AI loops, whereas Instagram support was much more helpful and human
The biggest concern, however, was the jewellery quality.
The deluxe version which I paid £300 for was marketed as including silver jewellery, which was a key reason for the higher price point. After comparing and testing the items, they did not behave consistently with genuine 925 silver in the same way as other silver items I own. Note they don't tarnish and posses the wrong shine and weight..also they don't react correctly to a silver testing solution..
This is something that really needs reviewing with suppliers, as it directly impacts the value of the product.
From a business perspective, there are some clear improvements that would make a big difference:
Ensuring surplus stock is available for replacements rather than producing exact quantities
Reviewing supplier quality control, particularly for advertised materials
Improving consistency between customer service channels
Better packaging to prevent damage.
It’s a shame, because the idea itself is strong and clearly made with care but without stronger quality control and support, the overall experience doesn’t match the premium price point. I was invited to purchase next year's calendar but my trust is gone and my enthusiasm depleted.

Weihnachtskalender kam zu spät. Inhalt war defekt. Wir haben den 925 Silber Kalender gewählt. Es war kein Silber enthalten. Kundenservice ist unverschämt. Als Ersatz für das fehlende Silber (100 €) haben wir einen Kugelschreiber und ein kaputtes Handtuch erhalten.
Nie wieder! Aber die scheinen es sich leisten zu können, so mit Kunden umzugehen.

Overall I am really happy with my product.

Would give zero stars if I could. I ordered the very expensive advent calendar and it arrived in time and looked gorgeous. I was so excited to give it to my daughter. Unfortunately, it did not last long. When we opened one of the drawers for advent we were surprised by a cockroach that crawled out. I removed all the items from drawers to try to salvage what I could, and discovered that many of the items were also broken. I wasn’t able to keep the calendar box due to my concern about other bugs. I wrote to them and asked for a refund, sent pictures and they asked me if I had a video of the roach coming out of the calendar. No, I wasn’t planning for that so I didn’t. I did have photos. Then they said that I had to return the whole thing for a refund (it had been thrown out). So I returned the broken items and drawers I could and asked for a partial refund. They refunded me 11.00 dollars. If that’s the amount of the products I sent back, then I see why everything breaks. Avoid this company. Product looks nice but is not quality and customer service is worse. For the price I would not expect any of this. Very disappointed.

The concept of this Advent calendar is absolutely amazing.
I truly appreciate the effort put in. It was so much fun to open, and each drawer was cuter than the other.
However, I ordered the calendar on the 9th of November, and it sadly didn't arrive before December. I received the package on the 11th.

I ordered the calendar after watching an unboxing of last year's calendar - so I was super excited. I was absolutely in love with the design last year, and I basically bought the calendar for the box and the ornaments that were in it last year (a gamble - I know!). I was very disappointed that the design had changed. But that one is on me; I could have used my eyes more before I ordered.
Luckily, this year's calendar did include one stained glass ornament. I got one with Cinnamoroll, which was exactly what I wanted. I would have loved more ornaments like this. I am also quite sad that the ornament didn't come in the nice box that the ornaments came in last year. It would make it easier when it needs to be stored for next year.

Now, to ✨ THE BOX ✨

The box is beautifully designed!
The concept is truly 10/10, but the execution (at least for the one I received) is more like 5/10.
The upper drawers (1 - 4) were very tight and difficult to open.
Around drawers 6 - 9, the calendar wasn't very sturdy, and the boards inside the box were about to fall out.
Between the calendar and the cover, there was glue showing. I do expect more from such an expensive calendar.

✨THE CONTENT OF THE BOX✨

Overall, I am happy with what I received in the calendar. So many fun and cute things!
Again, the effort of making this calendar really shows.
The mix of characters was super nice. I am very happy to have received many of Hello Kitty and her friends.
Quality-wise, most of the things were superb. Day 3 was a bit disappointing, as it was a pen only with "Cinnamoroll" written on it. I haven´t used the pen yet, so I might be getting ahead of myself.
I did get 5 things that did not live up to my expectations:

Day 4: Pompompurin Kerosene Keychain:
The bottom of this item is loose. Otherwise adorable. I do wish it were sturdier, especially if I am to actually use it for its purpose as a keychain.

Day 11: Mystery box with magnetic Hello Kitty keychains: The keychain I received is bent. I tried to bend it back into place, but it was impossible. Its function as a magnet is working impeccably. I was sad to receive a broken item, though.

Day 15: Flower pot blindbox: This item is truly adorable, and I love it. I got My Melody, and sadly, one of the flowers fell off as I assembled it.

Day number 19: Cinnamoroll necklace: Adorable necklace. It was not broken, but the necklace was totally tangled up. I did manage to untangle it. However, I expect more from a calendar in this price point. This specific issue may have occurred during the transport of the calendar.

Day 24: Pocket Elf Mystery box: I am absolutely in love with this item. It is so unique and adorable. The light did not work in mine. I did put in the plastic buffer again and wiggle it around a bit, and it seemed to have resolved the issue. The light is still unstable, which is very sad.

I would have loved to give the calendar a 5-star rating.
The effort put in and the beautiful design really does deserve 5 stars.
I hope there will be a Sanrio Advent calendar again next year, and that the execution will live up to the 5 stars that it deserves.
I am ordering one again next year - no doubt about that!
AND I hope that it will be shipped earlier, so it arrives in time for December.

And Kinda Kawaii, if you are reading this, I would love for next year's calendar to include more Christmas ornaments.

Our advent calendar was incredible, so many unique items-things I would never expect to find in an advent calendar. Worth it, and has been so much fun for our family.

This is my first year ordering from Kinda Kawaii (the Kawaii. Advent Calendar), and I could not be more thrilled! THIS if the advent calendar I’ve been searching for! Kawaii stationery is something I love, but most kawaii sub boxes or advent calendars are always subpar, filled with cheap items that make me feel like I got scammed. This calendar however, is filled with really great quality items (there have been a couple items that maybe weren’t as great quality as the others, but I kind of expect that - sacrifice a day or two for those really great days). I highly recommend this company!!
