What started out as a stressful experience ended beautifully thanks to kindness of the team within Lagan Homes, I initially picked the first house within my budget that could be ready within a three month period. I simply needed a house. Within 7 weeks of moving My house is becoming the most amazing home thanks to the over and beyond help and support from Fiona and Nicholas, once complete strangers, listened to timelines and stressors and just , took them away. From accommodating my interior design ideas to landscaping my garden to accommodate my dogs, i no longer intend to leave in two years,

I did select a number of upgrades just for preference however the quality of floor tiles, carpet, appliances are exceptional with a much wider range than that of other turn key homes.

The landscaping is just beautiful and a lovely canvas to start with.

I didn't need to complete a snag list as Nicholas identified and fixed issues during initial check ins without me having to mention. I had one issue re pluming that was fixed with two working days. nil else to date. Its the little things that are huge, like contractor Aidy turning up with a skip to remove rubbish and boxes to prevent the inconvenience of driving the next town to the dump.

The team seem genuinely invested in ensuring residents settle in and are made to feel welcome to reach out for support if required. I am the first person to complain if something is wrong but i feel its equally important to let people know when they are getting it right! If i do move home again, it will be with Lagan Homes,

Incredible service from start to finish at Lagan Homes - Helens Wood development. Site manager Gavin is 10/10 and all workmen have been so incredibly professional, knowledgeable, kind and can’t do enough to help. Office staff have been following up any queries in the background (of which there have been minimal!). Having previously purchased a new build home from a different developer - the experience with Lagan Homes exceeds expectation. Highly recommend Helens Wood!

We moved into our new Lagan Homes (NI) Galloway Phase home in Woodbrook, Lisburn in November 2025 and the whole process was seamless. Despite some delays in our chain sale, Lagan Homes were flexible and understanding, which really reduced the stress for us. The Site Foreman, Eoin, and his team are very approachable, offer high-quality advice whenever needed, and any snags have been minimal so far. Would happily recommend Lagan Homes (NI) and the Galloway Phase at Woodbrook to anyone considering a new build.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new home in Helen’s Wood, Bangor. Lagan Homes has truly helped us make our coveted dream home a reality, and the entire experience has been exceptional. The build quality is second to none, and the communication and response at each and every stage was excellent.

We want to give a special mention to Mary in Sales. While I have seen some comments regarding communication delays, it is important to understand that they manage multiple developments at once. Any wait is usually because Mary may be diligently checking with third parties or higher up the ladder to ensure she provides the most accurate information and guidance. She will definitely come back to you in time with a proper answer.

A huge thank you also goes to Gavin, the Site Manager. His coordination of everything on-site is brilliant; it is great to see him around the site constantly, giving instructions and personally checking the quality of work to ensure everything is up to standard. He is a man who always listens with a smile and is genuinely willing to help, regardless of whether you are a new or existing customer.

Once we moved in, the care didn't stop. Pat the handyman was fantastic with the snagging; he addressed every single request with due care and resolved them all on time. We also really appreciate the site team's respect for the community—seeing the lorry cleaning the streets regularly to ensure no construction debris is left behind is a great touch.

Our house was finished exactly within the stipulated time frame and handed over on the agreed completion day, making our move-in day stress-free. We are incredibly happy with our new home and the service provided. Highly recommended!

Service has been outstanding from start to finish. Information provided when needed and the process has been clearly communicated all along the way. Highly recommended and will be telling everyone how great it was.

We have just moved in to our second lagan homes house, both times have been seamless with no issues throughout the process. Both completion dates have been on time, all builders on site have been friendly and helpful and the foreman Eoin has been brilliant with answering any questions we had and to solve any minor issues we had after moving in! Mary also done a follow up call to check in and to note any further snags that need attention, which I really appreciated! I fully trust the lagan homes team will sort these as they have done in the past! I would definitely recommend lagan homes to anybody looking to buy a new build home!

Looking to buy a new build, had a look around some of the Lagan houses in the Lisburn area. Houses looked great but we decided the area wasn't for us.

Bought a new build from Lagan Homes, from start to finish the process was seamless. Questions and queries were answered promptly. Staff were polite and nothing was too much trouble. The house has been finished perfectly. I would buy from Lagans again with confidence.

Bought from Lagan Homes and it was an easy process from start to finish. Great service both on site and from the sales support team.

Their Republic of Ireland entity is no better - also zero star rating. Rude, poor workmanship, lack of care and lack of professionalism from start to finish. Steer clear!

If I could give 0 stars I would! Genuinely never met a bigger scam of a company in my life. You spend good money on a brand new home, for the finish and your upgraded extra items to be damaged. Having lived in the house now for over 8 months, I’m still fighting with them and being told I’m lying about damaged items! They don’t do anything properly, if I had known this was going to be like this I’d have bought a house with another, more trusted developer around the corner in one of the other developments, where the sites are much tidier, better finished and the houses look to be built to a better standard.

You drive into this site of over 2 years in the making and it still looks a mess, weeds everywhere, no tarmac on footpaths, broken kerbs, ironwork raised, empty yards with rubbish everywhere. Yet the other developer at the start of the development is clean, tidy, roads and footpaths tarmac’d.

Once you’ve got your money, you don’t give a toss!

Appalling company, terrible customer service, all about money- if you reserve a house, they have no problem pulling out and increasing asking price. We are SO glad we had such an awful experience as we didnt end up with a house. Outstanding developers available, spend your hard earned money elsewhere. As so many others also say, avoid this developer!

Brutal. Chased snags for over 2 years before giving up. The office is the biggest issue, just constantly ignored emails etc. The foreman on site kept changing so was a new person to chase on a regular basis before starting over again. I would avoid this company, wouldn't go near it. A lot of money to be spending to be ignored by the office once you move in. Great service until they have their money.

This company have completely ruined buying my first home. From day one have made promises and commitments, and haven't followed through. Continual change over in site staff has meant that snagging issues get passed around and never resolved - then when someone finally does show up to do work, they either make a bigger mess or make the issue worse.

Moved into the Coate Laganhomes estate in July 2024 and it's been nothing but a pleasant experience. The house has been perfect and had no major issues and was exactly how we expected it to be. We had a few minor issues but was quickly sorted by 'Barry' and even arranged and sorted an issue with Sky when they were having issues installing and was sorted on the same day! All other fixes have been sorted in a timely manner and no issue is too big or too small for Barry.

The other workers on site have been very helpful and friendly especially the driver Lee who is always looking out and making sure that his forklift does not get in the way of us being able to get to/from our house.

The experience *before* moving into the house was made difficult because the sale team were very pushy and was constantly hounding us for updates/information even though it's not our job/responsible to do so. The demeanor from this person was hard to deal with at times and would voice their opinion when not needed.

Overall was a very happy experience and it's been made better by having a friendly/knowledgeable site manager and that is very approachable with any issues you have.

cannot praise the sales staff Leigh and Sue enough for their support during the purchase and a rather long winded sale !
Moved in on 27th March - house is lovely - Dan the site manager is truly amazing ! The care and consideration we have been shown by Dan and his team is faultless! Thank you all!!!
