Steer well clear of this developer. They gave good first impressions but towards the end of the sale everything changed. Sales women didn’t know what was happening half the time, the garden was left in a terrible condition. We have had a leak from our shower since we moved in 8 months ago and they tried to do a bodge repair job which sorted it for roughly a week before it started leaking again, Causing damage to the paint and wall, skirting board now needs replacing and they keep fobbing us off with excuses and frankly ignoring the issue. Unfortunately having to go through NHBC to get them to act. A lot of the finishes are poorly done. Whole development still looks like a building site and their after sales are non existent. Would NOT recommend.

Very very poor, after care sales are rude and are not interested in helping. Snags that are outstanding 8 months later, roads still like a building site after losing yet another contractor who does not want to work them due to H&S on site.

I would never recommend.

They were okay. Sales advisors changed multiple times so never really felt a personal connection with them. The house was £500,000 and to see that someone has left wee down the toilet and on the toilet seat that had gone crusty (one of the workmen) without flushing it or cleaning it up was a bit of a disgrace. When the sales advisor was questioned she laughed and said "oh yeah all the workmen use the toilets in the houses".
Windows were scratched and chipped, porch broken, back door broken, rubber strips missing from French doors, island wonky. The workmanship was shoddy and the materials used were cheaper than B&Q's cheapest range.
Snags ended up being a 4 page list. Plastering and painting looked like it'd been done by 8 year old kids.
Site managers kept changing, he didn't have any respect, instantly said "is this your dad's house then"
You don't realise how bad they are until you visit 5 star builders developments. I would steer clear.

Very disappointed in this company site manager in my opinion great guy but don't have the back up on delivering the after care he's promised. Constantly chasing snags to be followed up on... I accept a new build has snags but no 'follow up after sale and house move to new build' I have contacted company today again for the 7th time and was told you have 2 years to get snags resolved I particularl

y don't want to wait 2 years. Lagan homes please resolve my snags.

A very poor finish to house, defects are botched up, 2 years on and still have outstanding rectification work. We've had water leaks from faulty plumbing, lights falling out of ceilings, all grout and sealant is dirty as they don't clean the dust away first. Fittings that don't work properly STILL! Basically, if you want your 'new' home to look and function like new, then you have to strip out what they've done and start again.

Terrible terrible company, we have 50 houses on the site in Broughton Astley, from appalling sale processes, not cleaning the house before we moved in, endless snags, re patch and paint the whole of the inside of the house, rarely reply to emails, no communication to the street, no after sales, no customer care at all, poor service all the way through and very inexperienced company with no thought for the new home owners.

Level of expertise? Dedication? Most of our second snags were never looked in to! Not mentioning the fact that nearly 3 years after completing the buildings the road in our Corby estate still haven't been completed and you keep trying to put wool over our eyes. Shame on you Lagan homes. I would never recommend you to anyone on this planet. Oh not to mention that they remove any negative and complaint comments from their Facebook page
