We have been very impressed with Lime, from the initial visit, communications regarding their system and scaffolding, and the actual installation. The installation team worked until past 8:00pm to get the installation completed, and were very professional throughout. We would definitely recommend Lime.

The installation was efficient and quick, tidy and friendly workmen. My only issue is that the scaffold remains up, a week after completion; hence only 4 stars.

This installation was perfect from the moment we signed up for the solar panels. Calls from Lime were very explanatory. The scaffolding company came and put the scaffolding up in less than 30 minutes. The installers arrived and took exactly the five hours we had been told it would take to install the panels, the battery and the other electrical wiring. Everything was explained to me, a walk around the battery and inverter and explanation of the app. Great work.

Great service. Steve Wilson explained everything very carefully which was most helpful. They actually call when they say they will which seems to be rare from other companies we spoke to. I would recommend Lime in a heartbeat. We are very happy with the installation as well - great service all around thank you.

Would have been a 4.5 star review but the scaffolders weren't really on the ball with what was needed for getting solar panels onto the roof and this caused some delays.

I filled my details national- energyhelp- .org/ for some soar panel funding and advice on good companies in my area thinking a .org will be an independent advice site not specifically linked to any company. Apparently Not the case. I arranged a Survey and a quote. Arrived on time and was very informative but some what repetitive on their excellence rating and all their accreditation's. Which I would find out myself anyway doing my due diligence as with any company these days. I was well informed throughout the survey presentation and discussed my options I was initially impressed.
Then I received my quote which sounded quite reasonable to me.

"But then If you sign up now now I can knock you off £1,400 to £1,500 off the price which is roughly the cost of that additional battery that you were thinking about."
Hmmm at least he didn't fake call their managers at the office I'm now thinking"

I said I would think about it as I would have to mull it over, and asked if the quote and details could be e-mailed to me.
The surveyor/salesman could not understand why I would not sign up then and there.
Again repeated I would think about it as I would have to mull it over, and if the quote and details could be e-mailed to me so I could go over the details in my own time and most likely I would sign up if everything checked out.

I'M Still waiting for the Quote and the details whilst of course getting other quotes

From start to finish this company kept in touch. Very professional and polite. Scaffolding went up in the agreed time frame and I am sure it will be removed in the time frame. Shelly from the office kept in touch before and after the installation and everything seems to be working as it should. I get see why there is no negative reviews for this company.

Well informed at all stages and installation of scaffolding and solar panels went smoothly. All installers were polite and helpful. Customer service was also good.

The fitting of solar panels went really smoothly, Scaffolding was erected tidily and safely , the solar panel fitters and electrician worked swiftly and left no mess, the guys were polite and friendly, as per plan scaffold was removed and again left no mess at all, overall a professional outfit, the office staff kept in touch throughout the process and paperwork was issued to me as planned, thanks for a great experience

Customer service was very good, good communication. All good so far.

Installers encountered two (building) issues with the install BUT were more than able to overcome them - all this in the heatwave of May 2026. No complaints from them and none from me - fair play to the guys.
