Lime Reviews

Installers encountered two (building) issues with the install BUT were more than able to overcome them - all this in the heatwave of May 2026. No complaints from them and none from me - fair play to the guys.

Lime where excellent from asking for a quote the lime sales rep Greg was polite and explained everything and was given a date for installation scaffolders arrived 5 days before install date . Went up quickly installation was quick safely .installers where very efficient polite cleaned up all the mess and answered all my questions it was faultless from start to finish I would recommend as a quality trust worthy company

Very prompt service and installation. Gold stars for the installers. Neat, tidy, efficient and accommodating.
HQ staff always accessible and responsive with nothing too much bother for them.
Delighted I used them for my solar installation.

20 x 450W and 2 x 11.5 kW battery install with EPS in Aberdeenshire.

Great service from initial quote through to final installation. No pressure survey and quote from helpful team.

Fully installed and commissioned within 3 weeks of site survey. Installers couldn’t have been more helpful and kept the site clean and tidy. I would thoroughly recommend.

Very efficient. Very knowledgeable and lovely customer service.

If you are planning getting solar panels this is the company to go with. From start to finish i couldn't fault them one little bit. Very professional guys! I recommend this company 💯

From start to finish the purchase and installation of our solar panels has been efficient, professional and clearly explained. We were wary of responding to a Facebook advert but from the first phone call it was apparent this company is customer focussed. The product is first class and almost immediately we can see how this will benefit our heavy energy consumption. One or two very minor points were quickly addressed. No delays, helpful and knowledgeable office staff and skilled teams on site made this a better experience than we could have hoped for. Thank you Lime.

From the sales team to the fitting of the solar system it was explained in full detail they didn’t try to force a sale on to me which I found to be nice as usually some try to force it onto you but not Lime solar - thank you all that were involved from head office to the work team you are all professional in your job

Very professional install, team very helpful and considerate

brilliant service from start to finish i was complete with solar panels connected within a week of speaking to them would highly recommend

Everyone has been helpful and nothing has been a problem. We have been kept informed all the way through. The scaffolders were brilliant and quick and the installation of the panels and batteries was straight foreward and was talked through by the lads doing the installation. Any questions we had was answered without any problems and when it was done they tidied everything away and cleaned up. Definitely 5 stars.

Made an appointment for Lime to give me an estimate for solar panels. They called to say that my wife and I both had to be present or they would not give me a quote. The caller would not/could not explain why other than saying that it was company policy. When I said that I couldn't guarantee that we would both be there - at 11am on a Thursday - they cancelled the appointment. Extraordinary behaviour!

Swift, efficient and professional - staff team knowledgeable and accommodating - good communication throughout the process 👍

From initial meeting with Jonathan Hamilton to discuss options, through erection of scaffolding, installation of solar panel system to disassemble of scaffolding and after care, Carbon Energy Savings Limited (Lime Energy) were professional, efficient and I could not be more pleased with how the overall project was carried out.

Very good company, workmanship is excellent and the guys are very professional, just make sure you have some decaf coffee in.
They never stopped, they fitted my full system with two batteries and 16 panels, it took a full day and they never took a break. Very clean and neat install.
The system has performed better than I'd hoped too, it charges my 11kw batteries in about 6 hours, on a day where I'd consider wearing a jumper. Very pleased. Go Lime first, you won't be disappointed.

The whole experience with Lime has exceeded all expectations, from initial consultation through to install - the service has been exceptional. Friendly, relaxed and no pressure. The installation has been completed to a really high standard and the system explained in easy to understand terms. Could not recommend more highly.

Project was carried out efficiently and with minimum inconvenience by suitably experienced staff.
Superb support throughout the whole process from the office staff at Lime in Glasgow.

The original contact was very impressive, the representative spent about three hours discussing my requirements in order to recommend the correct system. He did not pressure me to buy. The company kept in touch and the wait for installation was quite brief. The installation team arrived on time, and completed everything within the day. Lime have since been in contact to offer support, and have answered my questions in a prompt and helpful manner. My entire experience has been very positive.

Excellent service, support and product. Right from the first approach to Lime for information and a quote the whole experience has been excellent. Everything has been well explained and it was easy to get hold of someone if I wanted further information. The installation process went very smoothly and the system was well explained and the app is great. Highly recommended.
