London bespoke carpentry Limited Reviews

London Bespoke Carpentry fitted bespoke alcove cabinets and shelves in our dining room, and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

Simon’s workmanship is excellent and his friendly, can-do attitude made it easy to accommodate our requests. He was punctual every morning, and we felt his quote was competitive for the quality of work. Supporting a local company was a bonus.

Simon has already suggested ideas for the next project we have in mind so I’m sure be using him again.

Simon did a fantastic job completely overhauling our tired bathroom, putting in tiles, new shower and bath. Now looks fantastic! Would highly recommend.

simon is a brilliant carpenter, and helped us dramatically transform a purposeless room into a meaningful study space!

Timing, quality and cost all very good!

Everyone raves about the space.

From the first moment we communicated Simon was professional and put me at ease. He did excellent work installing bespoke shelves, cupboards, fitted wardrobes and more. The quality of his work was outstanding, but the best part was how much he respected our space. He left our home extremely clean every day. The fact that he a super nice person and so clear in all his communication just made the experience so pleasant! I honestly cannot recommend his services enough.

I have this brand new flat with an open plan room which required storage but also a touch of ‘design’. I was keen on a birch plywood storage unit that would give the room a ‘Scandi’ look. Excellent initial conversation with Simon to determine needs and my requirements. Fairly priced quote and date confirmed swiftly. The storage unit was built with care, attention to detail and always checking if met the required purpose. It resulted in not only a much needed storage but also a design piece you tend to see in magazines but never think you’d be able to afford. In addition to being respectful to my space and being passionate about what he does, Simon is a very skilled craftsman and professional you can trust. I can only highly recommend him but watch out, his reputation precedes him so he’s always very busy.

Simon has done a huge range of projects for us over the years - floor to ceiling period bookshelves, alcove storage, multiple bedroom wardrobes, bespoke chest of drawers, eave hatches, garden decking projects...everything. Each time the work has been of great quality. Simon contributes at the design stage to help refine our ideas and then works quickly but with great care. Friendly and reliable, we've always been very happy with his work.

We’ve used London Bespoke Carpentry for 4 built in cabinets, alcove Wardrobe and floor to ceiling shelf unit, very happy with the service and work completed. Simon is our go-to carpenter - our projects have been well organised and efficient from start to finish :)

We had a great experience working with Simon! He created a built-in in my husband's office and under-stair storage. Simon is really friendly, considerate and knowledgeable. He was also great with our dog Rory, and always keep our home tidy after his work.

I almost don't want to recommend him, because then he will be too busy to do more work for us! But he is fantastic, and we will absolutely be returning customers any time we need more carpentry work.

Simon completed a built in bookcase for my home office. He did an incredible job and finished faster than expected. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he was able to replicate it with a few alterations we had discussed. I absolutely love how it looks!! I 100% would recommend London Bespoke Carpentry to friends and family.

Simon built under stairs storage for me in my Victorian house which had a gaping hole in the floor of the cupboard down to the earth below making my hallway really cold in the winter! Simon thoroughly insulated the floor and gaps round the cupboard so no more drafts! He also made a really useful large pull out drawer and a new door and fitted handles.
I would highly recommend Simon for any carpentry work. Also as others have said Simon was a pleasure to have around. Very punctual and hardworking. Totally happy with the whole experience.

It was our first experience with Simon and he delivered an excellent service. He listened to our needs, made suggestions to improve the ideas and the final result is really beautiful. He clearly has loads of experience. On top of everything, he is also a nice person to talk to.

Simon did a great job creating sliding doors to divide my lounge and dining area. Not only is Simon an excellent carpenter he’s punctual, gets the job done - efficiency, quality of work and respectful of home and environment. Great job Simon thank you so much!

Great communications, nice bloke and most importantly a great product. Really pleased

Simon did a perfect job, from the first visit, planning to execution. He fitted a new door and wardrobe drawers.

We had some bespoke shelving and cupboards made for our 1930s flat. Simon went above and beyond to be sensitive to the layout of the room, made helpful design decisions but also ensured they would be stable enough to hold a hefty vinyl collection.
The end result is truly outstanding and we have received so many compliments 😃

We worked with Simon on multiple projects, from built-in wardrobe to cupboards and different storage solutions around the house.
He always did an excellent job: he’s very accurate in his quotes and organised, meaning he always finished according to the schedule.
He’s been great at bringing our vision to life and also gave us very useful suggestions which made the final work even better than we imagined. He always takes the time to clean up before leaving for the day and he’s very considerate when moving around the house, on top of being a genuinely nice and helpful person, which is equally important when you have someone working in your house. We can’t recommend him enough!

I can't believe it was that easy. New tenants had just moved in and immediately reported a leak from the bathroom to the floor below. A couple of attempted fixes did not work and I had little choice but to put in a new bathroom.

I was so lucky to stumble across Simon and his plumber partner Alex Woods. Organised, efficient, polite, tidy. My tenants even said they would miss them. The bathroom looks fabulous. Absolutely recommended. I am busy thinking of other work I need doing. 😍

Simon did a properly outstanding job designing and building both a built-in wardrobe and floating alcove shelf in my flat! I couldn't be more delighted with how they turned out and am hugely grateful for the care and attention to detail he put into making them for me. If it was possible to give him 6 stars, I absolutely would as the whole process was a pleasure from start to finish!

I can only echo what all the other reviews say, which is that he is highly skilled, very diligent and an incredibly nice person too! He fully understood the brief of a contemporary, minimalist style and made a number of really great design suggestions and gladly accommodated some of my more specific requests to make sure the wardrobe was in keeping with the rest of the aesthetic in my flat.

His communication was second-to-none throughout and was always on time. What's more, he treated my home like it was his own in terms of cleaning up as he worked. He was really quiet too as he had arranged for nearly all of the cutting to take place off-site (I was able to work from home all day in the next room), which was much appreciated.

Simon's work is very competitively priced also - I sourced a number of quotes before deciding to go with him (on the basis of very positive word of mouth). I'm so delighted that I did, as the end results are worth every penny!

The fact that he is often booked up for many months in advance is the true sign of a great tradesperson - and the quality of his workmanship is absolutely worth the wait. I couldn't recommend Simon and London Bespoke Carpentry more highly!

Cheers again Simon for all your hard work and for doing such a top job :) I will absolutely be getting in touch again in future the next time I need some carpentry/cabinetry work done!!

Simon built us bespoke alcoves for our lounge area to incorporate storage, shelves and our TV. He did a fantastic job and we were really happy with the final outcome. Right through the process he kept the working space clean and we were able to still use the lounge at the end of each day. I would definitely use his services again.

Very pleased with the work undertaken. Space saving under stairs storage and shelf unit. Solid build, quality finish and all completed on time and left tidy and clean. Highly recommend!
