The staff at Lowe & Sons Chester were very professional and helpful throughout the sale process. The shop is beautifully presented with a huge selection of silver items in display cabinets to view. The surprise and delight was the opportunity to view the small museum upstairs which displays very interesting history of Lowe & Sons in Chester. This was excellent.

After looking for a 21st present for my daughter and going to virtually every jewellery shop in Chester I thought of Lowe &Sons.
On entering I was made to feel welcome, they understood the sort of gift I was after and produced 3 items that any one would be perfect.
I picked one and they kindly gift wrapped it for me too.
Next time will be the first shop I go to.

It was most uplifting to walk through the door into a beautiful, characterful building. The assistant was extremely pleasant and helpful. She seemed to understand exactly what I was looking for and showed me a number of necklaces even remembering that something suitable had been used in a photo advertisement and was not on display. It was found and turned out to be what I was looking for. It is for a birthday present in March and hopefully the recipient will like it as much as I do.

I found Lowes Jewellery shop a pleasant shopping experience, staff were very helpful & patient with me and would recommend this lovely little Jewellery shop.

I purchased a beautiful sapphire ring that I had first seen on Lowe and Sons website. The assistants were welcoming and knowledgeable about the product. The ring was packed as if it was ready to give as a gift - even though in this case it was a gift to myself!
I have shopped at Lowe and sons before and also many times at their sister shop Powells. In fact Powells and Lowe & Sons are the first two places I look when I want ‘new’ jewellery.

Brilliant from start to finish I was looking for a small pill box I went into Powells who directed me to Lowe & Son round the corner. The shop gleams and is impressive I entered and looked in cabinets for pill box Cathy came to serve me after finding nothing small enough she went in back and came back with a little box but there was an issue as lid didn’t stay closed she explained it was due to be repaired before being entered into stock I asked if it was repaired could she send it to me she said yes of course two weeks later I received pictures of box agreed I would have it it was so simple a process and now have the box which is delightful and does exactly what I need it too brilliant staff and polite and helpful. Don’t be put off by the gleaming stock it’s a brilliant shop with excellent staff who try to accommodate your needs.

Had the pleasure of stumbling upon this place on a recent visit to Chester. Was instantly attracted inside by the grand interior and silverware I could see through the windows. Ended up getting a nice piece of Chester silver as a gift for my parents anniversary coming later this year. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for unique gift-able pieces like silverware and jewellery. Thank you to the two ladies who were extremely helpful and informative even though I was firing questions at them. Will be back to this gem in the future!
