On entering the security system to the tournament I was refused a glass bottle of lemonade yet my friends were allowed glass wine bottle full size and glass Procecco please tell me WHY as they conficated it to collect later.

Booted out of my seat

LTA have changed my seat for next Monday at Queen's club. No justifiable explanation and no right of reply. There is no phone number available to talk to anyone - you have to use online forms and get an automated reply saying it will take 3-5 days to respond. That is too late! I have been moved from a front row seat to several rows back where I won't be able to see over taller people in front of me. £200 wasted. What an absolute rip off. No doubt my seat has been given to some "VIP". Absolutely disgusted with them. Never going to book for this event again - massively overpriced and you get ripped off even more at the last minute.

LTA, possibly the worst members association in the world

The LTA is supposed to be a member's organisation, run for the benefit for tennis players around the country. Unfortunately, it is clear from the reviews here that the association has no interest in customer service or allowing members to even contact it. I had an issue with the LTA Wimbledon ballot which the LTA administrates. This used to be delegated to tennis clubs around the country but was taken "in house" a few years ago, but few people ever seem to get tickets through it. If you are unsuccessful in the LTA ballot (which is different to the Wimbo public ballot) you are supposed to be sent a link to apply for return tickets in March - but some people receive this link while others don't. When I tried to find out why I had not received the link I received no reply. Tried to phone, only to find that ALL external phone numbers have been withdrawn. As the last commentator says, you can only now leave your details on the laughably called service centre and hope that somebody contacts you (clue: they won't). The have also now withdrawn their complaints email address, as presumably they don't like being reminded of how incompetent this all is.

No telephone numbers - dreadful service

No telephone numbers are made available to contact customer service - you are given an FQA site and asked to submit an enquiry. They say a 3-5 days response but "it might take longer".
You then get an unhelpful response which does not answer the question.
Dreadful customer service - for an organisation that is selling quite expensive tickets - mine cost £100 each. Its the day before Queens and i still dont have my tickets.

Tennis fans should quit the LTA

Under Scott Lloyd’s incompetent leadership the LTA has withdrawn all phone numbers so it’s not possible to phone the organisation when its poorly designed booking website doesn’t work. Nobody replies to any comments made through the ‘service centre’ and Lloyd has also closed down the complaints email address - as he doesn’t like any criticism of what is supposed to be a members organisation. You can’t even phone the press office - instead send them an email and hope somebody bothers to reply.

A masterclass in how not to run a booking platform

This is genuinely one of the worst booking and payment experiences I have had with any online service.

The website is slow, unreliable and constantly throws errors. Payment is a nightmare. Google Pay is effectively unusable, card payments randomly fail and the error messages are often technical nonsense that mean nothing to a normal customer. You try to book a tennis court, the system fails, you try again, it fails differently. It feels less like a public-facing booking platform and more like a broken internal test environment.

The worst part is the booking limit issue. I keep being told that I have reached the maximum number of bookings in the past 7 days, even when there are no bookings at all. No past bookings, no future bookings, nothing remotely close to the supposed limit. My wife gets the same message on her own separate account despite having made zero bookings. Different account, different browser, different IP, same broken result.

This is not a minor inconvenience. It blocks people from using public tennis courts they are actively trying to pay for. The system is unreliable at the exact point where it needs to be simple: booking a court and taking payment.

What makes it even worse is the apparent lack of ownership. The Trustpilot profile appears to be unclaimed and the rating is extremely poor, which gives the impression that customer experience is not being taken seriously at all. For an organisation with the profile, partners and sponsors of the LTA, this is shocking.

A booking system should not make customers feel like they are debugging someone else’s broken software. This platform needs urgent attention

This is the most disgusting site with so many sponsors yet a very disappointing experience you will have to access your account. I got my screenshots of my tickets, were going there on 31 May and see what happens. The worst is yet to come I think

AWFUL website. Spent ages trying to log in, once I found a solution for that, it would not allow me to proceed to checkout and book a court with my selected time. Total waste of time. I don't understand the purpose of letting the website be this poor

Bought a ticket for Eastborne via the…

Bought a ticket for Eastborne via the LTA offical site in February. Paid extra for the cancellation refund. Anyway in late April I applied for refund just getting to the correct site was a nightmare. Then there was at least 6 requests of evidence which I sent plus a drs note which I paid for. Reason was my husbands cancer treatment took a turn for the worse . This request for more and more evidence was unbelievable in fact I was sure that this was breaking all medical confidential data. The upshot was they said my request for refund was refused. So I went down the route of finding someone to buy it off me. I was lucky and found someone who would pay the full price. So then I went onto courtLTP app to go through the transfer procedure which I did and a BAC transfer was successful. Then a few minutes later I got a email fro LTA saying they were giving me a credit note and in effect my ticket would go back on sale !! This of course was the ticket I had just sold via ltp app but now the ticket was no longer. After a panic attack I contacted lta vuz email again. Contacted buyer and then I needed to go through the whole process of transfer again. I find the web site disjointed , no contact by phone or live chat . Email response can be days. Also the ticket is not active until 48hrs before event. So if a problem I fear your are left high and dry. I was pleased that I finally was given a refund but this lack reliable efficient communication is a problem

No response to emails and taken my money

I got an email saying my son was entitled to an orange ball hoody. I paid £6.99 and they said it would arrive in 2 weeks. 3 months on and 4 chase up emails later I haven’t received the hoody or any sort of response but they’ve taken my money! Awful company

Impossible to create a child account

Impossible to create a child account. It advises that you must add a child under 13 as a household member. However, it is impossible to book tournaments on behalf of your child as the profile defaults to the adult profile. I have sent numerous emails to no avail and have missed upcoming tournaments. Please can some respond to my queries.

Best racket ever

Just following what it seems to be pattern of amazing reviews.. useless customer service once you experience issues.
I booked a court and charged accordingly. The courts were a building site and found out they didn't exist for the last 9-10 months. No apologies no refund no reply.

The website and app are so bad

The website and app are so bad. I don’t understand why any tennis club would let their booking service be run in this way. The people in charge of IT should be fired immediately. Hire a couple of kids and they could spin up a better booking site in a week. Talk about getting in the way of growing a sport. Should be ashamed of themselves.

Worst website I've ever seen in my…

Worst website I've ever seen in my life! I tried to create an account for my children , they did not allow it .I created one for myself and added them as households , but whenever I'm trying to book them anything it end by appearing my own name on the page saying it is not suitable for my own age , no mention of theirs . Refreshing , logging out and in , making a new account , all did not help to make my children names appear in the competition page . I've sent them several emails , hoping they can send a separate username and password for the children , but no reply . Although , all the children have paid compete advantage cards , I can not get use of any of them .

Auto-renewal charge without any notice

They attempted to take payment for an auto-renewal I was never notified about. No email, no warning, no evidence, and no apology after I challenged it. This feels like aggressive billing combined with very poor customer communication.
