I really had high hopes that the dishwasher sheets would work, based on the Lucent Company blurb (great cleaning, no harsh chemicals, no plastics, easy storage etc).

I bought one pack and tried a sheet, which seemed to clean and rinse fine. So I bought five more packets from Woolworths when they were half price. I already had a ton of my favourite tablet brand, Fairy, so I continued to use the Fairy tablets up till they were gone and then started to use the Lucent sheets full time.

However, after a couple of washes, I noticed many brown streaks occurring on my cups and saucers, in fact anything that had made contact with tea or coffee such as teaspoons. These streaks are very hard to get off, necessitating hand washing, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a dishwasher.

In addition, our griller and pots were left with bits of meat and other residue on them using these sheets, which required laborious hand washing also.

I also noticed a lot of suds laying on the bottom of the dishwasher after each wash, which has never occurred when using Fairy or Finish tablets. This in itself is a big problem as the dishwasher can't drain properly and eventually would cause pump failure due to running dry.

There is a risk to the hygiene and cleanliness of dishwashers using these sheets as well, not to mention leaking and seal damage as reported by other reviewers on here.

I am using a high quality Fisher and Paykel dishwasher and have NEVER had any of these problems before while using Fairy or Finish tablets as all dishes and glasses were left gleaming and squeaky clean while pots and pans were scrubbed spotless even better than hand washing and no suds to be seen at the end of the wash cycles.

Unfortunately the Lucent dishwasher sheets don't even come close to the results obtained with Fairy or Finish tablets.

I've tried many dishwasher detergents over the years but this is the first one where the dishes come out dirtier than when they went in. You can try all the different methods of loading the dishwasher, cleaning the dishes before putting them in the machine, different cycles till you're blue in the face. You'll still finish with the same slimy and baked on residue and brown streaks all over your dishes and cups.

I've seen a few reviews where they say Fisher and Paykel have decreed that these sheets NOT be used in their dishwashers due to the damage they cause and that the sheet packets carry a warning not to be used in Fisher and Paykel appliances. Fisher and Paykel may indeed have warned their customers not to use the sheets, however there is nothing on the sheet packaging that reflects this. All it says on the pack is that they are compatible with ALL dishwashers.

I would highly discourage the use of these sheets in ANY dishwasher, not only due to their ineffectiveness at cleaning but the probable expensive damage they may cause to your machine's seals and pump.

In order to get rid of them I tried chucking a couple in a toilet pan to soak and see if they could remove dirty stains from there but alas, no dice, just as useless as dish washing.

Take no notice of the plethora of five star reviews on this and other review sites. They are obviously submitted by bots or AI. No-one who has actually used these sheets could possibly be satisfied with their non-performance and these Chinese made sheets really should be withdrawn from sale.

So now I'm stuck with five and a bit packs of these useless rubbish Lucent Globe dishwasher sheets.

Oh well, live and learn and back to Fairy!

Cancelled subscription and continuous order but still received the next order. Have sent an email hoping for a reply acknowledging cancelation.

The laundry sheets don't work in a top loader washing machine to much water nowhere near soapy enough to clean anything maybe works better in front loader that uses a lot less water in cycles i would not recommend these sheets for a top loader machine

Not a good customer service. I ordered product a week ago and haven't received it yet. I wrote an email and called to number provided on order, but no updates at all. I ask for a refund and no response has been made.
Really bad customer service

Even after 2 times running the dishwasher dishes were still not properly clean. They were small bowls we served ice cream in them.

After a colossal stuff up with an order in October which they failed to acknowledge, but of course drew payment for, this company has now taken funds from my account without my authorisation. I did not purchase a recurring delivery but they seem to have assigned this to my account anyway. Their only means of contact is via email which takes them days/weeks to respond and resolve issues. In an attempt to view my historical orders, I tried to log in using my email but my email address isn’t registered and there is no option to register for an account on their website. They’ve set their website up to make it impossible to self-manage and monitor any recurring orders or track orders. The customer is left at the mercy of this organisation. There is no transparency which results in a lack of trust and failure to provide a pleasant experience for the customer.

Subscription scam
I ordered a one off starter pack to try everything, but I got charged the lesser subscription price , and they took my money and sent me another starter pack without my knowledge.
I didn’t even have an account I couldn’t log on to the website to check or unsubscribe ,I contacted them through facebook messenger and they said my email address had one number different yet I got delivery notifications, I got lied to , they said I could return it at my cost and it’s up to them if I get some of my money back or store credit

SUBSCRIPTION TRAP

I tried Lucent Globe products, worked ok, nice products actually.

BUT their selling approach is a SUBSCRIPTION TRAP and they do nothing to stop unwanted orders - even when they hadn't packed it. "It seems you may have inadvertently selected our 'Subscribe & Save' option at initial checkout" - they know exactly what they are doing!

I was not aware of the subscription arrangement. Sneaky. Dishonest.

I'm sure they have their bases covered, I bet there was wording somewhere, just not obvious and clear. Sure, you will win, it was "my fault" but now I'll never buy again now.

In my 'Chat' the host very politely assured me there was clear signage saying it was a subscription. Maybe there was, maybe its a SUBSCRIPTION TRAP and I've been caught.

I have left honest review before, for their dishwashing sheets. Back then it was just one box I bought. Today am adding a new one after further purchasing 3 boxes. Still disappointed and always having apprehension with the result whenever the door of my dishwasher finishes its load. Reason why I re-purchased is I feel that the dishes don't come out with a slimy layer and I hope i am not just imagining things. However having said that, apprehension that the wash doesn't come out perfectly clean is always existing and that itself is a bad thing. I have cleaned filter. I have cleaned my dishwasher faithfully every month with a top brand dishwasher cleaner. Yet, my dishes still can come out not perfectly clean after using their sheets. I use a full sheet with a full load. And I can get results like this in the photos. Yoghurt, parmesan cheese just don't wash well. And having to soak dishes after coming out of the dishwasher and scrubbing with steel wool as the food is very hard and stuck. I really hope to see more improvement with their sheets.

They lie about helping if they don’t work for you. I doubt many people actually have had them work bc they couldn’t clean light debris much less anything cascade can handle.

I was excited to use an environmental option but not at the cost of having to run my dishwasher 3x.

Don’t bother trying them their 30 day money back guarantee is fake because if you do use them they’ll try to claim they have to be unused and try and charge you for shipping

I have a lot of these products. I just love them. The customer service is great. I ordered some dishwasher booster. Unfortunately the postage arrived damaged, and I lost half the product. I contacted the help desk, just wanted to let them know to maybe check the handling of the product. Without hesitation that send me replacement. I did not expect that as it was not their fault. But it just shows they care about loyal customers.

Our hand soap bottle wasn't functioning properly so we asked the Lucent Globe guys for advice. After following their instructions and it was still a problem, they had no hesitation in sending a replacement. Fantastic customer service, so responsive and generous!

Bought the essentials bundle. Products have been amazing. Smell great. Clean well. One of the trigger nozzle handles broke after 3 uses. I contacted the team. After some brief troubleshooting, I was delivered a new spray bottle, regular check-ins and another message to see if all was well with the new bottle. The customer service was outstanding. Personalised,fast turnaround times and I'll be continuing my subscription.

Great. Products that really work & economical too

i wish i was happier with this product.
I've tried several orders. The dishwasher detergent still leaves glasses dirty, and bowls that have been in dishwasher a day do not come out clean.

washing detergent is also not great. white sheets and towels do not come out clean or bright white.

i wish them well... and would love to get the formula right, as i love supporting local small businesses.

I am so happy I switched to these products they work so well.
I use them all in our home now. I washed my dirty white shower curtain that had pink hair dye stains, and was starting to go yellow and moldy, now I usually have to bleach it but with one wash with the laundry sheets, I put 2 of the sheets in and it came out so white and clean, it removed all the satins and mold, it was like New again. Love love love these products.

After emailing to cancel my subscription I did not receive any response and another order was sent out. The subscription service is unnecessarily complex and difficult to cancel, as though designed to discourage users from doing so. The cancellation options are not clearly visible, requiring numerous steps and responses, which made the process quite difficult.

In the modern digital environment, discontinuing a subscription should be simple and transparent, not a frustrating or confusing experience

Having read similar negative experiences from other customers, it seems evident that the company’s system may intentionally obscure or complicate cancellation procedures. This approach is deeply disappointing and has permanently impacted my willingness to make future purchases.

Really happy with their products! came really quick, good price and smells great whilst cleaning my clothes in a non toxic way. 100% reccomend!

Don't believe the marketing hype. Dishwashing sheets are completely useless - note how they have fresh mess on the dishes in the vids that would come off in plain water, nothing that a real person actually has on their dishes. I get better results from literally any other dishwashing powder or tablet. Their spray bottle looks nice but broke in the first three months. The spray and wipe is fine but not great. Hand soap is okay. Laundry sheets are just okay. No idea how there are so many positive reviews of these things. I tried most of their products because it seemed great and I love the idea of less plastic and single use items but the execution is just lackluster.

They also automatically sign you up for their subscription service and hope you forgot about it in five months when you get charged. Then make it a hassle to cancel the subscription on their site. The subscription isn't shown on the priginal purchase receipt either. Now I have to return their useless products at my own expense.

Lovely idea I just wish it worked.
