My old router was struggling with more and more connected devices on my network. I don't know all the technical details, but I do know that my network doesn't lag any more when connecting or streaming things like Netflix. I'm a happy guy!

My WiFi is awesome now. I ordered a 3 pack and now I can stream Netflix everywhere.

I could never get wifi in my upstairs bedroom, now I can! Not to mention the parental controls are very helpful with the kids.

I love my Luma. It has improved streaming and the ability to have all my devices online at the same time. The parental controls are awesome as well and now I can pause the Internet when my five year old refuses to put the iPad down with out a fight/meltdown!! Love the security aspect too and seeing sites that are a concern as well as knowing that I'm protected at a higher level gives me peace of mind!

Hands down the best decision we made for our home. With all the devices we use for personal and work it's been a life changer.

I never write reviews but I just had to after reading a few others I just had to write a quick one and talk about my experience. we pre-ordered our 3 pack and was a little upset that we didn't get it immediately but hey! we've waited this long, what's a few more weeks. Anyways, we just received it and installed it. had a bit of an issue with setup and our samsung galaxy s5 but called customer support and they walked us through how to get it setup. we rebooted the modem and it just worked. pretty darn happy that my son can play his playstation while my husband and I watch a movie on hulu.

We have had our luma for about a month now. My husband had no problems setting it up, and felt it was much easier to set-up then he expected. We did speed test through-out the house with both our old network and the luma: the luma covered more of the house (and deck!) and was significantly faster. My daughter is getting a tablet for her birthday, and it eases my mind that I will be better able to control what she can access.

My wifi works so poorly now that I had to turn off my wifi to even write this review. I cannot get a connection to persist for more than 15 minutes, as it drops from device to device and is totally unreliable for my work needs. I had a single ASUS router that served my 4300 SF home very well. I had connectivity everywhere and it was at least acceptable. I can't even run my Sonos, my other home automation or anything with confidence. I've shelled out nearly $500 shells for 4 Lumas and its better to use LTE only. So unbelievably frustrated.

My luma were terrible. The power adapters look cheap and it didn't match the color of the Luma. Plus the white Lumas started changing color to yellow.

Finally the wifi was spotty at best. Not as advertised.

My first impression when our Luma arrived was the packaging was sleek and sophisticated. From the outer box to the easy to follow directions and inside packaging, it was an exciting experience to open it up! I am not at all technologically savvy, but the set up was incredibly easy. I had three Lumas set up in our home in about 15 minutes, with the added "help" of two preschool age children. The app is very straightforward and has a lot of features that I love. I can not wait to pause the internet on my kids at dinner time! :) I love that you can assign devices to different profiles and set limits to their internet access. This feature will be incredibly useful as my children grow older and start to have their own iPads and phones. The biggest improvement that we have experienced since using our Luma is the total coverage throughout the house and the ability to now have multiple devices using our wifi at once. 5 stars!

My previous home wifi network consisted of a internet provider modem, a seperate company router, and a wifi extender. I experienced many issues ranging from frequent drops from network, unable to join network, incredible interference from other devices, and limited security. Luma arrived and it took 10 minutes to set up. From day 1, I have experienced uninterrupted and consistent wifi connectivity, better throughput speeds, zero interference, the comfort of a more secure network, and the availability of value added features. Luma has outperformed my previous set up in everyway and resolved ALL my previous concerns and issues. I am extremely impressed and overly satisfied with the experience I have had with Luma. I have worked in the telecommunications industry for 15+ years and highly recommend Luma to both the beginner, as well as the expert in home or office wifi networking.

I have a large, 3-story house that previously had several dead-spots on both the upper and lower levels. After installing Luma, I have perfect WiFi coverage in literally every part of my home.

Setup was incredibly easy and the app is beautiful to look at. I've yet to try all the features but am excited to check them out, especially the user control and security monitoring.

Great product - can't recommend it enough.

We have an old stucco home with thick, solid walls that has historically been very challenging for WiFi. With one three-pack of Lumas, we now have reliable, very fast WiFi coverage throughout all rooms, and even in the backyard. Before Luma, over the years, we had tried numerous routers and range extenders, but nothing even came close to our new results with Luma. We are now enjoying streaming music and video, and using our favorite apps throughout the house with no dead spots, and with great speed and reliability. The setup is simple and well-guided by the Luma app. The control and monitoring features are also very nice and easy to use. Luma is a winner!

Luma not only helps me get internet access throughout my home, but also allows me to manage Internet access in my home for my two teenagers. An absolute necessity for today's parent!!! Thank you Luma!

My family is a streaming family, my wife and I work from home, we have a minimum of 17 devices connected to our WiFi network at all times and we stream movies, radio, web conferences and play video games. Our network was slow, unsafe for my kids, and filled with dead zones. My wife brought home Luma and it has changed everything for the better! It was super easy to setup and took only 5 minutes from unpacking to going live. I noticed a major difference in speed immediately as my videos stream and play instantly now with pause, my downloads are lightning fast, and dead zones are a thing of the past... Now I'm able to work outdoors and indoors without losing my WiFi signal. I really love the safety features Luma provides as I have kids and want to avoid inappropriate web content. Even friends have noticed how super fast my network is compared to theirs. My entire family is now able to enjoy fast, secure, and reliable WiFi. I am so happy with Luma and highly recommend It to others.

We have a 3-pack for our house. Set-up was a breeze, simply follow the directions on the app and we were up and running in 10 minutes. We are consistently getting 85-90MB per second speeds, which is about 20% faster than before we installed Luma. Also, having parental controls and being able to assign G, PG or PG-13 internet settings to our children's devices is awesome! Overall, we are in love with our Luma system!

I very rarely rate products, but in this instance i had no choice. LUMA IS AWESOME!

Immediately after i installed it (which took no time at all), I noticed a massive change in my home wifi quality. I had full signal in every room of the house, including those rooms that had been typically hard to get good wifi- basement, upstairs etc.

I have many connected devices in the home, Ring doorbell, Chamberlain garage door (yes Luma can reach that far), Quirky Pivot Power Genius etc and Luma has been able to immediately provide a better experience and quality.

Sorry Netgear, you're time is done and I was so happy to throw you in the trash. Enjoy 1995. Luma is here to take over!

It so convenient to have fast WiFi in my entire house. I am now able to use WiFi on my porch and in the kitchen. This is wonderful!

Setup was simple. Havent had any connectivity issues.
