Höchst unseriös - weigern sich, Rechnung auszustellen

Bestellung lief reibungslos. Brille für 222 Euro erhalten, jedoch keine Rechnung. Auch im persönlichen Bereich auf der Webseite keine Möglichkeit, eine Rechnung einzusehen. Nach Anfrage antwortet der Support (duzt), daß Ray-Ban aufgrund einer "Europäischen Gesetzgebung für den Fernabsatz – Option für das OSS-System – Art. 220, Richtlinie 2006/112/EG des Rates, geändert durch die Richtlinien des Rates Nr. 2017/2455 und Nr. 2019/1995" keine Rechnungen mehr ausstellt. In diesen hochschwelligen Richtlinien findet sich kein entsprechender Hinweis. Man versucht offensichtlich, den Kunden für dumm zu verkaufen und abzuwimmeln.

Die Bestätigungs-Email der Bestellung, auf der keine Umsatzsteuer ausgewiesen wird und auch keine Unternehmensdaten enthalten sind, soll "als Nachweis ausreichen". Das akzptiert weder eine Augen-Zusatzversicherung, noch das Finanzamt für Arbeitsmittel. Der Support hat noch nicht einmal eine ordentliche Signatur. und endet mit: "Diese Nachricht wurde von einem KI-System übersetzt. Obwohl alle Anstrengungen unternommen wurden, um Genauigkeit und Klarheit zu gewährleisten, können Fehler oder Missverständnisse auftreten."

Aufgrund vieler negativen Berichte bei Rücksendungen kann ich nur jedem absolut davon abraten, bei diesem Unternehmen direkt einzukaufen.

Pessima qualità

Meno di tre anni fa ho comprato un occhiale da sole con firma Prada, i bordi frontali della montatura erano rifiniti con gomma sopra la plastica. Vado per pulire i vetri e parte di questa gomma si è staccata. Chiedo assistenza al mio ottico che me l'ha venduto, da Luxottica gli è stato comunicato che gli occhiali non erano più in produzione e che non potevano darmi assistenza. Occhiali con poco più di 2 anni non più utilizzabili.

Fotocromatiche rayban difettose

Acquistati nel 2021 un paio di ray-ban aviator con lenti da vista fotocromatiche. Mai lasciati in auto se non indossati; per due volte in 3 anni le lenti si sono rovinate. La prima volta le hanno passate in garanzia. La seconda no perché il laboratorio ha dato come causa shock termico. In entrambi i casi il difetto era il medesimo. Puntano a fare utilizzare la garanzia con lo sconto del 70% per fare spendere ancora soldi per delle lenti che non hanno le caratteristiche di durabilità che ci si aspetterebbe da un prodotto da €400.

Refused help

When you paid $359 for a pair of sunglasses, you'd expect them to last for more than 2 years. Mine did but only a few months over 2 years. The lenses then exfoliated, despite the best care being taken (always dry etc.). One day when I wiped them with the provided cloth, the coating went away, like ibn the pic. I complained but Prada, the producer, directed me to Luxottica as their exclusive global dealer for glasses. Luxottica said they won't anything about it because I purchased them more than 2 years ago and they do no longer make that model.

Einfach top!

Total zufrieden.. Kundenservice ist top. Ich habe eine Prada Sonnenbrille in Mailand gekauft. Ich habe aber garnicht gemerkt, dass eine Kratzer in der Sonnenbrille war. Die Brille musste zurückgeschickt werden und nach 2 Tage kam aber wieder zurück und vom Kratzer ist nichts mehr zu sehen. Vielen Dank dafür, auch für die ganze Informationen ihr wart immer da. Mann kriegt auch sofort eine Antwort. Weiter so!

Amazing warranty experience

Amazing warranty experience. A pair of Persols cracked and I created a service request with them on Monday. By Friday I had a brand new replacement pair. They sent a label, I shipped my broken pair to them, they assessed the damage and sent a new frame that was delivered from Italy all within 5 working days. Amazing service that I wasn’t expecting given the other reviews on here.

Keine Kostenerstattung trotz retourniertem Paket.

Hinter der Firma Oakley steht Luxottica. Die versenden aus Italien über UPS. Das muss man vorher wissen, denn UPS retourniert natürlich sofort. In meinem Fall wurde eine bestellte Sonnenbrille adressiert an einer Postfiliale ohne Benachrichtigung an mich zurückgeschickt. Trotz umgehenden Anruf beim Kundenservice wurden die Kosten auch nach 4 Wochen nicht auf mein Konto erstattet. Nach Drohung von rechtlichen Schritten über das EU-Portal, wurde dann innerhalb von 2 Stunden überwiesen. Augen auf beim Kauf hier.

I bought two pairs of sunglasses from their store. However, one of them was not in the store and the cashier said that either I will clean this showcase product and give it to you or I will order it online. Of course I didn't want to buy the showcase product because it was like second hand. We ordered and I paid for both products. Then my product was shipped from another company and it was said that it came to the Netherlands via Italy. I did not receive the product, but I received an e-mail as if I had received it. But they told me that they would start an investigation, but if my product did not come and an e-mail came as if it came, do you think the person who did this would confess? They are definitely not behind their customers. I ordered a lot of luxury products that same week and I didn't have any problems with any of them. If the product was in the store that day, I would have bought it directly from the store. What is my fault as a customer? I wish, I wish I had chosen a product in the store and bought it, then I wouldn't have to deal with all this. They asked for a photo of my ID and my signature and I gave it to them. But I'm still wondering what kind of investigation they will carry out. The person who swiped my parcel will say yes, I did it? And jeopardise his business. Maybe he'll come knocking on my door. It's really frustrating because I'm a single woman. When I told this to the customer service, they didn't care. I hope they will at least give a gift voucher for the amount of the glasses, because I will never buy a product that is in the store and I will never buy it with home delivery again…
Ik kocht twee zonnebrillen in hun winkel. Een ervan was echter niet in de winkel en de caissière zei dat ik of dit vitrineproduct zal schoonmaken en aan u geven of ik zal het online bestellen. Natuurlijk wilde ik het vitrineproduct niet kopen omdat het net tweedehands was. We bestelden en ik betaalde voor beide producten. Toen werd mijn product verzonden door een ander bedrijf en er werd gezegd dat het via Italië naar Nederland kwam. Ik heb het product niet ontvangen, maar ik kreeg wel een e-mail alsof ik het had ontvangen. Maar ze vertelden me dat ze een onderzoek zouden starten, maar als mijn product niet kwam en er kwam een e-mail alsof het kwam, denk je dat de persoon die dit heeft gedaan zou bekennen? Ze staan zeker niet achter hun klanten. Ik heb in dezelfde week een heleboel luxe producten besteld en ik heb met geen enkel product problemen gehad. Als het product die dag in de winkel lag, had ik het direct in de winkel gekocht. Wat is mijn fout als klant? Ik wou dat ik een product had gekozen en gekocht dat in de winkel lag, dan had ik niet met hen te maken gehad. Ze vroegen me om een foto van mijn identiteitsbewijs en mijn handtekening, en die heb ik gegeven. Maar ik vraag me nog steeds af wat voor onderzoek ze zullen doen. Zal de persoon die mijn pakje gestolen heeft, zeggen dat ik het gedaan heb? En zijn baan in gevaar brengen. Misschien komt hij wel bij me aankloppen. Het is echt frustrerend omdat ik een alleenstaande vrouw ben. Toen ik dit aan de klantenservice vertelde, trokken ze zich er niets van aan. Ik hoop dat ze me een cadeaubon geven voor minstens het bedrag van de bril, want ik zal nooit meer een product kopen dat in de winkel ligt en ik zal het nooit met thuisbezorging kopen.

Horrible service with complete disregard for customers

For such a big conglomerate company which owns probably more than half of the eyewear market, it sure employs the worst people to deal with customers. They don’t take Customer Service seriously and don’t respect customers.

When asked questions, they don’t answer them completely (most likely intentionally), and then if you try to confirm that you understood their partial answers by repeating their instructions back to them, they simply reply with “I never stated that,” instead of getting to the point and answering what should be done to get a warranty claim processed. These people are rude, incompetent and just plain annoying.

There is no telephone number to contact someone for questions regarding Oakley warranty issues, and the chat service and emails are slow and unhelpful. Specifically, Luana just dismissed my questions and didn’t help me. I asked for a manager and that was also through email communication only. I’m not even sure if she really was a manager, but Daisy was also unhelpful and contradictory. When I asked for her assistance, she told me it could only be done on my end, so once I did it and I informed her of it, she said there was a problem and she was supposed to do it. I was so confused dealing with her.

Luxottica should realize so many people are annoyed with their lack of support and should hire new people who can actually do something to help customers. Based on the overwhelming number of complaints, it’s clear Luxottica staff need to do their jobs, be clear and competent, be courteous and prompt, and be accommodating and understanding of customers’ concerns and issues with their expensive products.

If you absolutely know you’re not going to have an issue, you can take a chance and purchase their products but if you require any sort of after-sales assistance or have any issue arise, I recommend staying away from this company because good luck getting the help you need to resolve it.

Trattamento Criz. Sapphire lenti Essilor Varilux difettoso

Acquistato a dicembre 2021occhiali progressivi con Lenti Essilor Vx Xclusive 4D Lines1.74 eyecode eyeprotect, con trattamento Cros.Sapphire+. Circa 2 mesi fa, dopo poco più di 2 anni, è comparsa, nella parte inferiore di una delle lenti, una macchia opaca e rugosa di sfaldamento del trattamento. L’ottico venditore di fiducia ha detto che la macchia è stata causata dal sudore. Nessuna soluzione, nessuna sostituzione. In più di 60 anni che portò occhiali, mai successo niente di simile e le lenti Essilor Varilux acquistate costano uno sproposito

Not Honouring Warranty

I purchased prescription glasses and within the warranty period (2 years) asked for replacement due to defects. Luxottica complied and furnished a letter stating that they will replace the glasses but added that the replacement letter or coupon expires in one year.
I have many pairs of glasses and now that I want to replace these glasses (which I have not worn, and will return in their new state to Luxottica) the letter is expired.
In the warranty there is no statement mentioning that once agreement to replacement honouring this must take place within one year. They make up the rules as they go along.
As they have agreed to replacement in a letter it’s now a matter of the collection of payment. My options are:
1) a letter stating my intention to take them to small claims court. Should be a slam dunk as they have agreed to replace but recalcitrant in payment.
2) letter to leaders of company in Canada and International regarding poor business practices.
3) some public relations regarding poor business practice in various social media.

Poor Customer Service

I really like Oakley products, but last year had a screw fallout and they said it wasn't under warranty. I had them for 6 months. After a lot of back and forth, they gave me a promotional coupon that was good through September, 2024. I try to use it and it's declined because it's not good for products on sale. No one in customer service is willing to help. Their products are always on sale. The coupon is worthless. I will be going to another manufacturer. Their customer service is horrible.

Meinen letzten 4 Ray Ban Brillen

Bei meinen letzten 4 Ray Ban Brillen gab es absolut nichts auszusetzen. Die Lieferung erfolgte jeweils in einem stabilen Karton, Die Brillensets waren immer komplett und in perfektem Gesamtzustand. Ich bestellte über die österreichische Seite und würde nach meinen bisherigen Erfahrungen, erneut eine Brille über diesen Anbieter bestellen.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Purchased a pair of Oakley Sunglasses from my golf club's Pro Shop. Noticed the left lens was loose. Upon further examination I realized that the upper corner was broken, and the lens was NG. No problem, these things happen. My Pro Shop had the glasses for nearly two (2) months with no help from Luxottica. On my end I tried calling (hahaha!!) & then emailing, etc. Got ZERO response other than that I should buy a new pair of lens to replace the damaged ones. I have made a list of ALL Luxottica brands, & I can tell you there is ZERO % CHANCE they will ever see a dollar of mine going forward. I purchased 2 pairs of Shady Rays for $45 each & they are every bit as good as my Oakleys. Do yourself a favor - AVOID ALL Luxottica Brands!!! They are the WORST retailer I have ever dealt with. Thank goodness there are other options!!! BTW - I wish I could have given these Criminals ZERO stars!!!!

I ordered a pair of Prada Sunglasses…

I ordered a pair of Prada Sunglasses online in December 2023. The first time I needed them was in February 2024 for a trip. When I opened the glasses the frame pulled open all the way making it so that they wouldn't fit at all. I contacted Prada who referred me to Luxottica.

They closed the claim as

Time moves a lot slower at Luxoticca HQ…

Time moves a lot slower at Luxoticca HQ than it does anywhere else, it’s not a slick operation. They said my request was out of warranty incorrectly, and despite identifying this, the fix was for me to open a new service request with notes on for their agent. It’s taken 3 weeks to negotiate a replacement pair, and it’ll take another 7 business days to ship them, only after I’ve returned the defective frame.

Do they realise this is people’s glasses?

A pair held together with glue and sticky tape is better than no pair at all, why do I need to be without them?

I’d say avoid them, but almost every manufacturer uses Luxoticca so you’re pretty screwed in that respect.

Pessima esperienza -

Pessima esperienza. Acquisto occhiali con telecamera e microfono. La custodia di ricarica non funziona. Inizia una avventura demenziale tra chiamate al n. di assistenza, rinvii al dipartimento competente, compilazione format di assistenza, risposta quesiti sul problema assolutamente demenziali (mi chiedono se le stanghette sono rotte e se le lenti sono crinate quando di tratta della custodia e altre domande ancora più demenziali). La faccio breve: sono passati 6 mesi e la custodia non l'ho mai ricevuta: si è persa! Epilogo: telefonata di oggi. A Luxottica non risulta aperta alcuna richiesta di riparazione e non risulta alcun precedente contatto. Se non fosse una cosa serie sarebbe un film comico.
