Competitive price. Quick and efficient service

My order never arrived, and dealing with customer service was frustrating. I was asked the same questions and given the same statements multiple times. Communication was slow, and I had to chase repeatedly for updates. There was clear reluctance to refund despite the parcel being missing. They kept insinuating that GPS proved the parcel was delivered, asking me to check with neighbours when my original email had already confirmed that I had done this. They then advised me that I had to wait until DHL responded to them before a refund could be issued, stating that DHL had confirmed on the phone that the GPS showed delivery, so “it can’t be far away.”

What I found particularly concerning was that progress was only made after I explained my consumer rights — something they, as a business, should already be fully aware of. Even then, and despite me advising them three times prior that this was a birthday gift for the 17th (which had already passed), they came back offering a replacement, to which I had to email again explaining that the gifts had already been replaced.

Although the refund has now been raised (but not yet received), it took a significant amount of time and effort on my part. I make every effort to support small businesses, but being met with such reluctant responses for an issue that was not my fault, along with a very unhelpful customer service team that repeatedly ignored what I had already said, means I would not recommend ordering from this particular small business. It left me feeling that if a delivery company fails to complete a delivery, customers may effectively be treated as dishonest and forced to fight for a refund. Companies regardless if they are dealing with a customer wishing to order or a complaint of a missing parcel should hold the same level of customer service, being patronising and rude to a customer due to a DHL error is unprofessional and unproductive. The products that this company sells are available at hundreds of other small businesses that I’d be inclined to visit before Mabel and Fox.

The stocking looks nice but I've just tried to get some gifts in it and the opening is too narrow! A bit of a problem, given that the purpose of the item is to hold presents (and we're talking small child's board book here, nothing unreasonable) - poorly designed and feel a bit disappointed that I chose this one for my new baby.

Ordered two beautiful waterfall rattles for my first two Grandchildren one a Grandaughter and one a Grandson just 10 weeks apart . Toy was lovely quality and lovely colour , service and ease of ordering was really good also delivered on time . Will be back .
