Mac Pro 128GB 2TB SSD
As a media composer, I needed a machine that wouldn’t let me down. I opted for the Mac Pro 6,1 with upgraded 128GB ram and a 2TB SSD - this thing is flying! Within 2 days of payment, it had been built, shipped and up and running on my desk! Overall a very fast and stress free experience. Genevieve was very helpful answering the questions I had. I would definitely recommend!

Disappointed delivery
The order was supposed to arrive the next day, it did not.
Had to call Mac Store UK several times to ascertain where this order was since the designated courier claimed they tried to deliver but our CCTV proved they clearly did not attempt any delivery.
Mac Store did say a couple of times during the day that they would call back in 15 minutes and an hour, they didn't bother to call back we had to keep calling them to get updates.
The customer service was rubbish if you say you will call a customer back within a certain time then as a customer that is what we expect. This failure didn't happen once it happened on at least 3 occasions which meant we had to spend quite a bit of time getting updates instead of getting on with our work.
Perhaps try using a responsible courier that doesn't lie about delivery attempts to maintain their internal service level agreements… and also call your customers back in the time that you say you will.

Having had a look at your order, we can see that this was not delivered and that our Customer Service team spent most of the day talking to the couriers in order to get the device redelivered same day for you (the usual process is one more attempt on the next working day and then the shipment is held at the local depot for you to collect) and were successful in this as the device was delivered on the same day.
As it is the summer holiday period and we were hit with a wave or isolation due to the Coronavirus the team were very thin on the ground and as such a number of times were unable to answer your calls due to being on other lines.
We will take on board your feedback and will feed this back to the courier service too.

Mac Store UK Warranty Scam - Terrible Customer Experience
Was very pleased with my purchase of a MacBook Pro 13" 2016 with TouchBar - 3.3GHz i7, until recently the display unit started malfunctioning, and the laptop display has since become non operational.
The disk and motherboard work absolutely fine - I run extensive music programs and regularly have a high CPU, which this still computer works fine with. I also used to work at MacWorld, so have extensive internal product knowledge, and I have conducted many internal repairs on MacBooks over time.
More likely as a result of the Touch Bar malfunctioning, the display was starting showing a solid black line through the centre, which has since shut off completely. I run the laptop through a monitor, so I am able to view it in this fashion only.
The TouchBar malfunction / screen malfunction by proxy is well documented from users of this model: I am within warranty, but when I sent this to be repaired by Mac Store UK, they instead insisted I had water damage (when I never even move the laptop from the desk, and it's not like I live in the jungle). This is genuinely a case of a business not wanting to replace a display unit, as they know it will cost more than the laptop itself to replace (which they mentioned in their responding email to me).
Customer service very unhelpful, and completely deceitful 'repairs' and warranty strategy: I am now lumbered with a £1200 MacBook that doesn't function as a Laptop. Avoid this business at all costs.

We are sorry to hear that your experience hasn't been as positive as we would have liked and that your device has not been functioning correctly, please accept our apologies for this.
Having taken a look at the history of your order, we can see that this was returned due to the screen damage but when this was examined by our Apple trained Technicians, the liquid indicators inside the MacBook had changed colour indicating that liquid had entered the machine. Unfortunately this did void your warranty and could be the cause of the initial fault. We would recommend talking to your home insurers to see if your device is covered under your policy.
We are sorry to hear that you feel the Customer Service team were unhelpful, we will always be honest and upfront with customers as this is how we would expect to be treated if we were the customer.
Once again Joey, we are sorry for the issues which have arisen and that we are unable to assist under your warranty. If you did want us to repair your device, we would be happy to do so but unfortunately this would be chargeable.

The delivery was extremely quick and the offer of increasing the memory to 500GB (I think!) was a very nice touch. The imac was in exactly the kind of condition we hoped for and has been superb.
The only slight let down (very minor) was the very cheap-feeling plastic quality of the keyboard provided.

Having ordered a number of products…
Having ordered a number of products from this company, I've always rated their products highly.
However, recently one of their macbooks sold to me within the last year and therefore within warranty has developed a slightly defective screen. I have now had to try contact them 4 separate times to resolve this, and been fobbed off each time by their automated chat bot. I've sent follow up emails as well as repeated the issue to this 'assistant' and still absolutely no word. It feels like they are either painfully understaffed, or purposefully ignoring me until the warranty runs out.
Their customer service is absolutely appaling.

Stock updates need improving
There was a lack of communication between their warehouse and sales departments as the product I ordered was in fact out of stock. I only found this out when it came to the day I expected to receive the product I tracked it down and it hadn't yet been dispatched. The customer service team were apologetic with an honest explanation and they quickly resolved the situation however I've ended up with a product that is a year older than the one I'd originally ordered. I needed the product quite urgently and there was no telling when it would be back in stock, nevertheless the one I received is of grade A quality.
