A total pro and the food is just incredible ❤️ I can’t wait to find another excuse to book him again as it’s just the most wonderful experience from start to finish- would highly recommend. We hired Chef Laurie for an intimate dinner party of 6 and were blown away by the gorgeous food he created for us. He was super flexible with the menu to ensure everyone’s needs / tastes were catered for and was super responsive in the lead up to the event. Chef Laurie was a great addition to the evening very unobtrusive yet friendly providing us with little overviews of every course and the kitchen was left absolutely immaculate. Would highly recommend!

We had Laurie as a private chef for a family birthday party recently and couldn't recommend him enough for any event! We went for the 5 course menu and each course was absolutely sensational and the value for money was spot on too! Laurie is very personable and professional he brought each dish to the table explaining what each one was and also recommended wine pairings for us ahead of the day. For anyone looking for great food then 10/10 book Laurie!

We booked Laurie from the Manchester Pasta Company for a “Come Dine With Me”-style evening with friends, and he absolutely exceeded all expectations. From the moment he arrived, Laurie was warm, professional and effortlessly friendly – he instantly put everyone at ease and felt like part of the party.

The food was outstanding – every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. You could tell how much love and skill went into every plate. But what really set the evening apart was Laurie’s incredible service and attention to detail. He kept the kitchen spotless throughout, left everything immaculate afterwards, and made hosting feel totally stress-free.

Our guests were raving about the whole experience, and we genuinely didn’t want the night to end! Laurie is a true pro and an absolute pleasure to have in your home. We wouldn’t hesitate to book him again and recommend him wholeheartedly. If you’re thinking of doing something special – this is it!

Laurie came and cooked for us, a party of 6, at an Air BnB after my small wedding ceremony. Every course was delicious and had something special about it, and he was also kind enough to cook a meal for my 3 year old neice to enjoy. Great communication, very professional and left the kitchen spotless. Would highly recommend if you are planning a special event.

We had great communication in the lead up to the wedding where we discussed what types of food we liked and what we didn’t and it resulted in Chef Laurie creating a bespoke menu for us.

We have been fortunate enough to sample food from many places and we can safely say that the food made for us was the best food we have ever tried (that includes food from the 3 Michelin Star restaurant - L’Enclume).

The flavours, the textures, variety and service were spectacular and we are so pleased that we found Chef Laurie/The Manchester Pasta Company. They helped to make our big day perfect and will share a very special place in our hearts and memories.

It’s clear that Laurie has a lot of experience with food and masterfully puts that experience into his creations.

We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a chef for an event, small get together or for a private dining experience and we will be sure to him again in the future.

What can I say! We had these guys for my daughters 21st it was Easter Sunday they done an amazing roast dinner! Just wow thank you so much you made my day so easy! They clean up too 😊 can not reccomend enough! 👍 super brilliant

Laurie was absolutely amazing! We’ve never had a private chef experience and Laurie made it so memorable for all of our family for my husbands birthday. Such a lovely guy to have at our house and makes the most beautiful dishes. Will absolutely be booking again for another special occasion soon!

Laurie’s food is exceptional he cooked for me and my family (there’s 20 of us) he and his team came to our air bnb holiday let and each dish left you wanting more in a very good way. Each dish prepared was full of flavour and beyond what many of us have eaten before. Great price and super convenient will be booking again very soon.

We’ve been to the Manchester Pasta Co. numerous times and it’s always an absolute treat. The food is nothing short of Michelin standard – genuinely – but without the pretence or the price tag. It’s the kind of place you want to keep going back to: relaxed, welcoming, and brilliant with kids (which we massively appreciate!).

The atmosphere is laid-back but still feels special, and every dish we’ve had has been full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with real passion. Laurie, the chef and owner, is not only incredibly talented but also one of the loveliest people you’ll meet. You can tell he pours his heart into the place, and it shows in every detail.

Chef Laurie cooked an amazing 6 course tasting menu for my birthday with an amazing wine pairing. The food was honestly so delicious probably one of the best tasting meals I’ve had. If you like to go to restaurants but you also love being in the comfort of your own home Laurie is the guy for you because he brings the 5 star restaurant straight to your own kitchen. I can’t forget how brilliant the service is and his staff he brought along.
