It’s a beauty. Easy to assemble, smooth ride.

I love the quality of the bike, especially for the price. This was a low-end purchase, to be clear, but everything you need is here. Yes, you need to do some assembly, but 80% is already done for you and the shifting is even tuned to some degree. My one gripe would be that the breaks were installed too quickly so they needed to be removed and centered for actual use. Still 5-stars for the price, quality, communication and speed of delivery!

Don't order the tracker signs. They look good but they are easily damaged. Mine came with two dents.

I bent my derailleur hanger and didn’t realize they are so bike specific now, especially the rift zone 1. I’m glad Marin still produces replacement parts or it would have cost me more money to buy a true through axle wheel. I also liked the updates on shipping. Thanks again!

Great communication and fast shipping

If I could I would have a whole stable of Marin bikes. I just like their vibe.

Easy to order and came promptly(Live in NorCal) Water bottle looks good with my Marin carbon hardtail.

Bike shipped quickly and arrived ready to assemble. Assembly was easy but did take some knowledge. Bike rides great, fast and smooth and climbs well (better than expected). Nice quick geometry that will be fun everywhere! Not a lot of miles yet but can’t wait for more!

Instructions would have been helpful with the assembly.

Bike is of really good quality. The fit and finish Is good. I am 6’ and I got the large frame. The bike seems to be a little on the long end. There’s not much more room to adjust the seat post down due to the water bottle mount/screw in the frame.

I also ordered the bike online and it didn’t come with a seat post clamp. I sent a message to Marin and have yet to hear back from them.

Ich hatte nach gut einem Jahr einen Riss im Carbonrahmen meines Marin Headlands. Außerdem drehte sich ein Insert einer Schraube im Rahmen, so dass man diese nicht mehr herausdrehen konnte. Von Marin bekam ich nie eine Rückmeldung auf meine Anfrage bezüglich Garantie. Zum Glück wurde es durch den Händler ersetzt.

Der Rahmen weist aber auch sonst weitere Konstruktive Mängel auf, die man in dieser Preisklasse nicht erwartet.
Die Kabelführung ist eine einzige Katastrophe. Um das Innenlagergehäuse verlaufen sie Außen herum. Es gibt hier zwei Zugführungen am Rahmen, die ins Carbon genietet sind. Da stehen einem die Haare zu berge!
Der Kabelaustritt vorne aus dem Unterrohr ist auch billigst gemacht. Die Kabel werden fast senkrecht nach Außen geführt, was absolut unschön aussieht. Das Kunststoffteil, durch das sie herausgeführt werden, ist nur in den Rahmen hineingedrückt und hält sich mit Kunststoffnasen, die abbrechen, wenn man das Teil ausbauen will.
Auch die Lackierung oben auf dem Unterrohr war fehlerhaft und hatte Bläschen.
Im Carbon waren zudem deutliche Dellen erkennbar.
Jeder billigrahmen von Temu dürfte da besser gemacht sein.
Alles in allem bin ich froh, den Rahmen los zu sein.

Ergänzung: Seitens Marin habe ich hier die Anfrage erhalten, dass ich ihnen den Vorgang per Mail schildern solle. Dies ist geschehen, bis heute ohne jegliche Reaktion seitens Marin, wie schon die ganze Zeit... Der Verdacht liegt nahe, dass man hier bei den Bewertungen bemüht tun will, letztendlich aber kein wirkliches Interesse hat solche Fälle zu klären.

Easy to navigate website and locate the exact part I need for my mountain bike.

Derailleur was bent from poor shipping setup.

Purchasing the bike, Bolinas Ridge 2, was a breeze. Althoug the "estimated" delivery time was between 2 and 4 weeks, I received it in 5 days. The assembly instructions were easy to follow, and the customer service was outstanding when I contacted them about some left over parts and other questions.

This is my second bike from Marin. My first was stolen, then recovered. It was in bad enough shape that it would've been more expensive to fix it than buy a new one. It's currently out by the dumpster area if you want it.

The mechanics are great. Even out of the box all the gears were adjusted properly as there was no chatter while shifting through the gears. It is a smooth riding bike.

I’m a novice rider and this is my first bike. Recommended by my son. He was right, this is a very nice bike. (Don’t tell him I said that.😉) Easy to assemble. Delivered quickly. I’m very pleased.

Absolutely great, not 5 stars due to hanger is really soft, and shipping cost, but other than that it's great
