Truthfully, I was skeptical at first but now am a very happy repeat customer. I have ordered from them about 10 times now and have had ZERO issues. Glass jar packaging is exceptional. Expiration dates are not hidden. Particularly enjoy the dried fruits. All products received in great condition. Nothing smushed.

I have been able to make some outstanding discounted purchases for stocking my cupboards…and now with the empty cupboards of others looming for those with limited resources, I am emptying my cupboards to food drives for local food banks. I am buying more to specifically donate to food banks. I am fortunate in my life and I am glad Martie can help me help others without breaking my bank!

Sent a package of chips which were clearly rancid and not edible. Customer service asked for multiple photos of the chips. Then they ignored anyfurther resolution of the issue. I would NEVER deal with them again.

We’ve shopped from Martie numerous times over the past 1.5 years and can confirm the quality of the items and the money we’ve saved off of retail prices. It’s allowed us to try so many items we normally wouldn’t because of the retail high-price point. Martie’s brands skew high-quality, organic, etc. basically what you’d find in a higher-end grocery store or organic market. Highly recommend!

This is the discount marketplace of my dreams. Unlike shopping the food section at a closeout discounter where selection is limited, Martie makes it easy to shop for brands I love at steep discounts. I've been shopping Martie for about a half year now, and i couldn't be happier with the experience. I look forward to seeing the circulars in my inbox, and always enjoy the discovery/treasure hunt. Because most of the products are closeouts, they are short-dated but not out of date. Most of my purchases have been great. Only a couple times did I receive products that were starting to get a little rancid due to end-of-shelf life issues - but had I read the Martie listing more carefully I would have noticed that they did include the best by date in the listing, so the next time I shopped I was careful not to buy short coded items high in fat, like roasted almonds. I'd recommend Martie without reservation!

I worked in the grocery industry for years as a buyer and manager and I was always shocked seeing the metrics of our food waste. Especially as others in this country and the world go hungry. So I fully support the model Martie is trying to fulfill.

Plus you get to pick from exciting, interesting new products everyday and who doesn't love to try something new? How many times does that major retailer you shop at offer new products everyday with savings of up to 50% and beyond? Maybe 1-5 products? Martie has them beat!

I love that they catorgize everything and offer lots of healthy choices. You get free shipping over $50 which is a great minimum that allows you to try out a basket full of items. Then everything comes neatly packaged like someone took the time to pack it for you, complete with tracking info. Their app makes everything seamless too!

The only thing to remember is some products are short dated but they exclaim this for you and it doesn't apply to all their goods. If you've been shopping for convienence but settling for the same approach, give Martie's a try I dont think you'll be disappointed.

Really great products and so much more accessible to buy! Some stuff is not *necessary* (all the really good snacks and chips etc) but it’s a nice way to treat myself with wiser decisions

Love the diversity of all your products, especially unusual stuff

I cannot recall who told me about Martie, but I love it! I'm often buying for larger groups and it's a great way to sample new brands and save money. I also love the treasure-hunting aspect of it. (I studied in Boston, and always loved to hunt the original Filene's Basement.) And Martie is fun: kudos to their marketing team! Packing is a challenge, because everything comes in a large box and only glass is secured. But if there are heavy items, they can crush anything near them (so cereal, crackers, etc. get smooshed). But Amazon has that problem, too. I just placed another order and we're looking forward to discovering new favorites!

I love the concept of not wasting food especially with delicious items. I ordered Pantry items that all were perfectly wrapped in an excellent condition and delicious!

Good idea. Good deals. Certainly a good way to try new items. Not always free shipping. Added items to my cart. Went to checkout and while shipping was free there was a $16 rural handling charge. I didn't complete the transaction. I tried my sister's address and had the same issue. Perhaps the best customer is one closest to their warehouse.

Everything was smooth and the food was yummy!
