Stay away from this company! I ordered a dress and trench coat. The dress was fine, coat was to small. Followed the directions for initiation a return and in the meantime I ordered the large. Instead of returning the jacket I was offered a 15% discount. I accepted this and decided to keep the smaller size and give it to my daughter. I then made another order and this is when I had problems. I ordered a white dress in a large and an extra large. This dress was of poorer quality than the first. I needed the dress for an event so I kept the one that fit and asked for approval to return the other. Their policy states you have 30 days to do a return but don’t tell you must get approval to return items. In my request to return the dress, I explained that I bought 2 sizes of the Kathy dress and needed to return the one that didn’t fit. Again I was offered a percentage off or I could select something else of equal value. I rejected both these options and reiterated that I wanted to return the dress. I then received an email asking what was wrong with the dress and to send a picture of the defect. I answered saying the dress wasn’t defective just the wrong size. I didn’t hear from them and after sending emails and waiting for their response, the window to return the dress was closing. They never responded so I disputed the charge with my CC company. Mayberry lied and said I had received a credit. This was a lie. The credit I received was from merchandise I had ordered but was told it wasn’t available and my money would be returned. They then said the dress was less than I paid for it put the order information/ receipt they sent my CC company had exactly the same amount listed for the dress. I don’t see why my CC company didn’t catch this. Mayberry lied and said I wanted to return the dress because of a defect. This was untrue. I wanted to return it because it didn’t fit. My CC company accepted their version of the disputed item but I will be calling them back and pointing out the descrepencies. I will check to see if they belong to the BBB. If so I will contact them as well.

I would leave no stars if possible. I ordered several pair of sandals. What arrived was pathetic. The cheapest stinky vinyl ever. The shirt was severly undersized to be considered a Large and the so called pearl/gold necklace looked like it was won at a carnival.They wanted me to pay freight back to China (figures!) and a 15% restocking fee. This company sells cheap TEMU items and charges 5 times more!

Never buy from this scam site! They have crappy merchandise, they refuse refunds unless you pay to ship them back to Asia at your own expense and even when they offer in store credit, they still send crappy product in return!!!

Do not be fooled like I was! This company is a lie. The “North Carolina” was attractive to me and their marketing is beautiful. I purchased over a dozen items in preparation for a long business trip, focusing on orthopedic shoes and business casual clothes. NOTHING fit and the quality was terrible! How dare they market shoes as “orthopedic” when there is no support! Their customer service was wonderful when I noticed one of my items listed the wrong size during the ordering process. This was another reason I fell for their lies! My items came in five different shipments and it was over a month before I received everything. While the sizes were printed correctly on the items NOTHING was true to size and most everything was TOO LARGE. My disappointment is with myself. I can’t believe I fell for their scams. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!!

Here's my honest, helpful criticism. SHUT DOWN YOUR HORRIBLE STORE. The items took over 2 weeks to arrive from North Carolina?? I ordered two pairs of "leather" boots. One pair looked like plastic and NOTHING like what was pictured on the site. The second pair was also plastic and the sizing was way off. The return process is a NIGHTMARE. It's outdated and cumbersome. STAY AWAY from this garbage retailer.

I bought two sweaters. They came with no labels or markings on the sweater, just on the plastic wrapping. They look like sweaters for children in an adult extra large bag. Even though it is mailed from California (as shown on the mailing label and their ad) they want you to return them to their “other” warehouse and pay international shipping plus $14.95 to restock them. The models in the ads were all adults. The return policy is horrible but the misrepresentation of the product is what makes this company untrustworthy.

I have ordered 2 items from Mayberry. Both items were delivered to the wrong address twice last week.when I notified them, their first reply was once they are told item was delivered, they are done and I must contact my carrier. It was their own carrier they have contracted with for delivery.

I ordered a pair of Taos leather sandals and what I received was a plastic pair of cheaply made knockoffs. They will not answer you. They are a company based in China mailing out cheap items.
They are scammers

I bought 2 dresses. It took over 3 weeks for delivery. Dresses were not as pictured. Poor quality. I requested full credit. They gave me full credit in form of store credit which I used for shoes. Again the shoes were not as described. They claimed cushioned soles, with arch support. The shoes are poor quality, not cushioned and no arch support. I will donate them as I did the dresses to a charity thrift store. Don't waste your time and money on this website. What you see is NOT what you'll get.

I soooo regret even seeing this site. It is very deceptive and unresponsive. The prices look great and fashion fantastic. However, the sizing, construction and quality is NOTHING like what you see online or what is described.
I have been trying to call and email the company since I received delivery on my merchandise. All contact sources are unresponsive and/or unavailable. There seems to be no recourse for me to return the items, but my next step is Better Business Bureau, writing REAL review, and my bank has been contacted and I have an open case. PLEASE BEWARE!!! Scam is written alllllll over this!

This company is a scam. I purchased a number of items and most looked nothing like the photos and descriptions online. The "jeans" I purchased, which said they were made of denim (as jeans are) with embroidery were actually screen-printed cheap polyester. The sweatshirt I ordered that was supposed to be made of lace embroidery were also screen-printed on cheap polyester - it was like they took a picture of the actual garment and printed it on awful fabric. And everything was 2 sizes too small. Waiting to see if they'll actually process a return or not. Run away from this company!!

I ordered a dress. It's completely unwearable, and made of some thin, unlined, plastic material. The top is so stretchy that it would never stay up on any body type. Returning means paying for shipping back and not being refunded for shipping to me, so it's not even worth my time but don't do it. It's worse than garbage.

Placed order through their website. Merchandise appeared to be good quality with positive reviews on "Trustpilot" built into the site. Items described using the terms elegant and leather. Became suspicious when shipping tracker showed terms "customs" and "tarrif". Plus, order listed as Shipment 1 and 2. The first package arrived yesterday with a maxi dress and two "leather" tote bags. Items were not as shown or described; anything but high quality or elegant. Dress did not look anything like the picture. It is made of some low quality nylon type material the bottom of the dress does not even have a hem. Bottom appears to be a machine cut raw edge. Tote bags are not leather! They look like they are made of cheap vinyl upholstery fabric. I never anticipated a return when I made the purchase because if they did not fit I was going to give the items to friends. They indicate 30 day return/refund policy. In reviewing again I found that pre-approval is required, cost paid by buyer, 15 percent restocking fee and tarrif the responsibility of the buyer. Return must go be sent to warehouse address in China. Must arrive within the 30 day period. It's an expensive lesson to lose cost of order but attempted return is not worth the risk. Order was over $200. Probably throwing good , money after bad. I'm not taking the chance since the company has already proven to be deceptive. Do not be fooled!

Stay clear of this company. Clothing is nothing like what is pictured. I ordered the same dress in two different colors and the dresses i received were two completely different dresses. It cost more to return them than they cost. Their return policy is horrible. STAY CLEAR!

I wish I could rate zero stars. I purchased a pair of these shoes and it’s just like wearing beach flip flops. I ordered beige and I was sent a pair on white that looks like marshmallow. Zero arch support. Please don’t waste your money!!! I spent 53.00 on a $2.00 shoe. I actually own a pair of Taos shoes and the picture looked just like the real deal for a third of the price. DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY’nnnn

This company does a great job of photographing and describing their clothing. Unfortunately the products do not match the descriptions of the photos. I purchased two items and both were very cheaply made. A summer dress was 100% polyester and though it looked great on the site it is something you would buy at a knock off street vendor for a few bucks (it was marked down to $50).

I also purchased a woodland animal print “warm turtleneck sweater.” It was cheaply made (thin, 95% poly, 5% spandex - not sweater material and certainly not worth the close to $50 I paid). I purchased a medium, my usual size and appropriate re: the size guide but it was extremely difficult to pull over my rather small head (I wear a small hat and have a small neck).

I explained that the shirt must’ve been wrong sized and a shared a video but was told it was correct and I could return it - pay for overseas shipping and a restock fee. I checked out what that would cost through the mail service and it would be almost as much as the item to begin with.

They tout their refund policy but it is so onerous as you have to pay overseas shipping fees and restocking fees well so suffice to say the refund policy means toyay get a few bucks back if your items don’t work (maybe 10 or 20 cents on the dollar).

I went back-and-forth with the company over more than 14 days and the end result was me donating both items to Goodwill. Videos, photos and explanations went nowhere.

I did look at reviews on their website which are almost all favorable and highly rated. Unfortunately, I did not do my homework on trust pilot or Google reviews as those, more accurate reviews, explain the lack of quality and poor customer service as well as extremely financially challenging return policies.

Again, the clothes look fun and well-made on the site but they are cheap and the photos and descriptions are absolutely not accurate.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I echo all the previous emails. I feel completely duped and I should know better. Shipping is long, quality of clothing is awful and the return policy makes it impossible to get a refund. Shame on me but more importantly, shame on them.
