Even though I use Medal, being one of the best recording apps for games, I do love that they show us other people's videos and see how they experience their own things you know?

No output audio options. Medal doesn't have sound for me. When I open up settings there's literally no output option. Which means they probably use 'default' as an option, which is often times broken... Toon meer

PC application frequently corrupts and requires a purging process that's lost me many of my videos. Very buggy. Incredibly frustrating to use at times but there seems to be no direct alternative.

Medal is honestly amazing i get to view actually good gaming clips. The shortcuts to record are simple and quick to press!

not perfect

not perfect, kinda bloatware tbh but its way better than theh steelseries clipping software and I love the social media function it got, the best clipping software ive found

So basiclly i didn't even install it…

So basiclly i didn't even install it and WINDOWS DEFENDER said that its malware, and i also saw reviews talking about it being malware

Windows Defender sometimes flags apps with false positives, and we’ve seen this happen before with Medal. The app is safe, and you can usually clear the warning by updating your antivirus or whitelisting the app.

Why is fl studio a "GAME"

While medal is super good and all, one thing I don't understand is WHY IS FL STUDIO A "GAME"??? I CAN'T MOVE MY CLIPS TO SHIT OR ANYTHING ALL BECAUSE THIS APPLICATION COUNTS FL STUDIO AS A "GAME" AND I GOTTA CLOSE IT LIKE MAN
onto that CAN METAL SAY WHEN ITS OFF?? Like I dunno! It always has a message to say "medal is recording" but never "MEDAL ISN'T RECORDING BTW!"

FL Studio was added as a supported “game” because many users requested clipping support for it, but you can fully control what Medal records.

If you don’t want FL Studio to be detected or recorded, you can set it as “Do Not Record” in your Custom Game Settings. This will prevent Medal from opening or capturing anything when FL Studio is running.

they actually gave the robux from the…

they actually gave the robux from the quest at first I though my acc.'s gone but the robux did appear in my acc. after 21 days

All clips lost

Pretty standard clipping software, but they've been cramming more ads as of late. My app corrupted(?) randomly, so all my clips are gone. 5 years' worth, lost to the void. Seems like the antithesis of what they should be after.

We know how much time and creativity goes into building a library over the years, and it’s devastating to lose that work.

If the files were removed directly from your device (for example, by a cleanup tool or system process), we unfortunately don’t have a way to recover locally stored clips — Medal doesn’t delete local files on its own.

Good but hard to use without mobile app

I like it a lot, but it is annoying about me not being able to upload more then a 30 sec clip with out mobile app, and even only a 30 min clip with mobile app.

Do not install this malware

Do not install this malware, it keeps reinstalling itself nonstop, even after deleting it 5-6 times, restarting your pc does nothing and thiss russian malware installs itself over and over. This app needs reported for hacking and being a security threat.

Reliable Support

I was experiencing issues with not being able to record/clip anything. I submitted a support ticket really quickly and got a response almost instantly. After sending Medal logs via email they quickly identified that it was actually my Kaspersky Total Security app blocking Medal from recording. Medal Support gave really simple and easy instructions on how to fix the issue and it is now operating perfectly fine.

Fast problem solving

My questions weren't hard but were solved very fast (less than a day). 4/5 'cause I didn't get what I wanted, but it's okay.

Fantastic support quality

I was having issues (game crashing while Medal was running) with recording and opened a ticket with them. Their response was prompt and very helpful. Turnaround was quick and when I had to wait, it was because of time zone differences. With the focused help and generated logs, Medal support was able to get back to the developers who could use the provided info to patch the issue and help others with similar issue as mine.

Clip-Speicherort

Clips werden aus irgendeinen Grund standardmäßig auf der C-Festplatte gespeichert und das löschen der Clips verschiebt sie nur in den Papierkorb STANDARDMÄßIG und dadurch war meine C-Festplatte überfüllt und ich durfte erstmal herausfinden wie ich meinen PC repariere.

Danke für diese tolle Erfahrung, Medal ;D

Totally get how frustrating it is when clips fill up your C: drive unexpectedly. Medal does store clips there by default, but you can change the save location anytime in Settings so clips go to a different drive. Deleted clips also follow your system’s recycle bin rules, which is why they moved there.

Its so trash

Its so trash. Recently it has just stopped doing the one thing its suppose to do and it cant register any games i try use it with
