While I used it it was great and did everything I wanted. Sadly I had to cancel due to not having the money. Even sadder I forgot to cancel and it took the money before I realised. Now this is why I'm writing a review, they refunded the full amount even though they fully had the right to keep it and keep me on for another year!

this app is so good and their support team oooh so good it feels like you are talking to own people and very fast reply.

Good service

I used Medal.Tv to record tons of game clips over the last few days. I got some of my best clips I've ever taken with their software's simple F8 command to record 5min.

That was a waste of time.

Now that I have amassed about 15-20 clips that I want to string together in a sweet montage w/ music, the software literally just gave up on me. When I try to load my separate projects into one it acts as if I have millions of years to wait patiently for the first clip to even load up to select it.

I have spent all morning trimming clips to get ready to build the montage, and now the software wont allow me to SAVE my clips on my pc, find their file location, or build my project within their app. It is loading so entirely slow I will definitely never use this software again for anything due to how much time I feel like I've wasted getting this ready.

I'm a beginner video editor and have never been so frustrated before because I literally cannot get my clips off this app.

The suppport team was replying really fast, the instructioms were specific and greatly understanding. I have no word against them. 10/10, 5 stars. Hope they will be as supporting as they were for me for everybody. Thanks!

Best clipping app out there, there were times before I had medal where I wish I could have been recording something that just happened in game, but with medal I don't have to worry about missing funny moments.

The stupid lunar quest does not work and it would not let me reinstall

It's just recording a blackscreen. The bug is there for years and Medal doesn't seem to care about it. The support doesn't know how to fix it as well and the Tutorials and Forums i have searched up haven't resolved the issue.

it just automatically does a ton of things without your knowledge and is clunky

sometimes my auto record feature turns off, sometimes my capture settings switch, and whenever I connect my VR headset I have to manually change all my audio and video settings BACK to my computer even when I dont have it record my vr games, which I never have. and theres more.

Medal makes recording clips and editing clips very smooth and simple. The editor is great with many tools to play around with. While the editor certainly has its issues, every problem I've reported has been replied to by someone helpful and professional, and that's what makes me stick around. They're committed to making the app better and better, and while Medal is not as refined as many of it's competitors, no one can compete with the wonderful team behind it.

This is my second review I write about Medal and I have yet again have to say that I am generally really surprised (in a very good way) how great the support team behind Medal is.

I ran into an issue on Christmas Eve preventing me from reliably using Medal. After contacting support, I received a response within 15 minutes and this on F***ING CHRISTMAS EVE!!! A public holiday in the majority of the world!
So a lot of respect to Tim, thank you for your help and time! Merry Christmas to you bro and I hope you get paid very well to be online and helping out users instead of celebrating!

I'll start with the good - Medal is a good clipping software and is generous with its features even if you choose not to purchase a premium subscription. It does what it says and for anyone requiring a basic clipping software, it's a decent choice.

Now for the bad - the premium subscription is somewhat expensive considering the modern economy as this is more of a WANT rather than a NEED. It could be justified if the premium features were more valuable, but, most of them are pointless.

I put in a support ticket - regarding a username. You're able to have unique usernames on Medal resulting in username warfare. There's a lot of dead accounts that are hoarding "valuable" or "aesthetic" usernames.

The employee I had spoken to was amazing - however it was out of his power to consider my suggestion and therefore directed me to Medals suggestion site where I was promised things are actually viewed and considered.

I mentioned the problems with their inactive account deletion tactics and tried to explain how and why. I was quickly met with a response from "Patrick" who works in product design for Medal.

He ignored majority of my suggestion and rambled about things that were completely unrelated. My concerns and suggestions were completely brushed off.

I replied, politely, explaining that what he said was valuable information however was not relevant to the points I was actually making.

I was met with another vague and rude response and my ticket was archived. The comments from the staff member were clearly rushed too - it was barely readable. So. That was that. Silenced.

So all-in-all, the software is decent. Not great, not bad. The company & staff team are quite questionable though. I felt really mistreated as a premium customer.

Subscription cancelled.

Simple editing, easy sharing. Absolutely everything I need to save and share fun memories with my gaming friends. Encountered almost no bugs or significant performance issues, the only problem got resolved thanks to the support team.

In my Discord server with 8000 members, I announced the "invite Robux" event in my announcements channel and asked people to participate in the medal using my invitation code. Only 41 or 42 people did so. I created a request to withdraw the Robux I earned, but a few days later I saw that the "invite Robux" task had been removed from the "tasks" section. When I asked why, they said "Your use of bots was detected," but that's not true. It was my mistake to think they would give 4000 Robux to a random person. They're accusing people of using bots to avoid giving them their winnings. I think, if I'm not mistaken, for an invitation to count, people need to verify their phone numbers through the app and complete something called a "new player quest." How could it be a bot when all that is required? As I said, they're accusing people of using bots to avoid giving them their winnings. 10/10 Scam. Also, when I talked to people about this on their Discord server, they unfairly gave me a 7-day timeout. OUT OF NOWHERE. I hadn't said anything wrong; we were just discussing the possibility of a mistake.Not a single forbidden word had escaped my lips.

God support good rewards and good service

Use xbox gamebar instead this app is poo it sucks ass to use and its rewards dont work :(

The app overall is good, i dont pay for any of the premium features becuase just being able to record at normal 1080 or 1440p at 30-60fps for free is great.

But medal really shines in their support, i had a problem, and they responded within <5 minutes of be submitting the ticket, which ensued in an email chain back and forth which all got responeded to within 1-2minutes each email.

Much like just live chat or phone call

Much better than some other websites or apps where everytime you respond to them they take anywhere from 2-7 business days to respond

Medal is almost Perfect. It runs in the background and hasn't bogged down my system at all, meanwhile the whole time it's keeping track of high quality, easy to read footage. Then, the only time it Does start lowering your framerate is for a few moments After you hit the button to save a clip, where this lag only lasts for a few seconds at most. It's Amazing.
