This is the third pillow system I have gotten over the years. I started using medcline in 2013, so every one has lasted an extremely long time in my opinion.

Tore my rotator cuff not quite 2 years ago. No surgery, but lots of PT. I am a natural side sleeper, but kept on trying to sleep on my back, which led to lots of snoring and the quality and quantity of my sleep dropped. Got my MedCline system 3 weeks ago, and my sleep score has risen by an average 15 points. I can sleep on my side all night. My snoring has dropped dramatically.
I do wake up when I change sides, but fall back to sleep within minutes. Definitely a huge improvement for me. My shoulder soreness has improved tremendously.

So I suddenly developed sleep apnea a couple years ago and only realized what was happening after connecting it to my extreme daytime exhaustion. It was so bad that there were days I felt like I was going to pass out just from standing or walking around. I couldn't make it through the day without an afternoon nap (which was anywhere from 2-4 hours - not a power nap!), and even that didn't always help me feel refreshed. Due to a combination of sensory issues and financial cost, getting a CPAP was out of the question for me, so I tried everything else I could think of - nose clips, different pillows, a neck brace, etc. All were a colossal waste of money. After eyeing MedCline's site for months, I finally decided to splurge and invest in something that I thought would help. Long story short, I've been converted! I've been using the body pillow by itself these past few weeks, and my energy levels have gotten so much better. I tried to use the whole relief system at first, but I didn't like how much the wedge pillow forced my body upwards - I know that's the point, but for me, it was uncomfortable and unnecessary. I wish I had known the body pillow is all I would need, though I'm glad I tried it with the other configuration because now I know what works. Just thought it might be helpful for anybody else with similar problems who's considering getting this thing. It's honestly amazing how fast it helped me. Admittedly, the body pillow can be a little awkward to use at times (I use it with the longer half behind me, and it has a tendency to fall off the bed while I'm sleeping), and it's not very conducive for snuggling with partners (this thing takes up so much room, it's like having another person in the bed), but it works so much better than every other pillow out there. I used to think that "get more sleep" was overrated. Turns out it can actually be good advice when your bed and body aren't working against you.

Edit to add: Their customer service is fantastic as well. I had some issues getting the right size for a replacement pillowcase and they reached out immediately to help.

After 15 years of many medication‘s, trial and error remedies of how to get rid of acid reflex and in my case I had LPR, which was part of the voice box and the esophagus, many nights were ruined, especially for my wife and sleep was hard to come by until, a friend of ours told us about the MedCline reflex relief system. We both said what the heck let’s try it and I will tell you without any doubt, the system is the most amazing thing that’s happened to my life and I owe it all to MedCline! From the first night on, I have been reflux free! I’m going on two months now and I cannot tell you the difference in my sleep in my poor wife’s sleep. I am even eating things that I was not supposed to eat such as tomatoes. This was a godsend and I would encourage everyone who has this issue to give it a try! Thank you, MedCline!

Not one to write reviews, but I needed to share my experience with MedCline, specifically their customer support team. A little background on me- I fought onboard the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Gulf War and after my tour of duty. I went through school to become a Registered Nurse. I’ve now retired from that. I suffer from GERD, (acid reflux), PTSD, and severe sleep apnea. So sleep hasn’t exactly been my friend for quite some time. I’ve tried countless products that don’t help or just get thrown on the floor. The MedCline system actually works for me! :). There is something magical in the snug fit and proper angle of elevation. I also suffer from PLMD (think restless leg, but add in a couple arms) so both the wedge and body pillow have taken a beating. I noticed a small tear at the seam of the wedge’s outer cover and a hole developed in the curve of the body pillow. I assumed that any type of warranty would be voided by some type of clause or negating factor. So when I hadn’t gotten a response back from customer service I wasn’t surprised. I did what they taught us in the military and fixed with what I had. When my patch job started to fail I looked through my email to see if there were any discount codes to buy another pillow and wedge cover. To my surprise, it was me that hadn’t seen MedCline’s email from 6+ months ago! They had replied and asked me to confirm my shipping address! So I gave it a shot and replied to the old email. To my surprise I got a reply that day extending me the courtesy of a replacement even though it had passed the warranty coverage period by then.
To me, that’s how a business should be run. High quality products that actually do what they are advertised to do, made by a company that stands behind what they’ve made!

I’m over the moon with the cooling body pillow!! It actually keeps me cool when I’m having night sweats and supports my neck and back while sleeping on my side. Don’t second guess if you need this pillow, get it quickly!

I purchased the MedCline pillow because it is marketed as a therapeutic pillow designed to improve sleep comfort and relieve pain. Unfortunately, after using it as directed, it caused significant neck pain instead of providing relief. I was unable to continue using it.
I contacted customer support, explained my situation in detail, and politely requested that my case be reviewed by a supervisor. I wasn’t asking for a blanket exception to their policy—I simply hoped they would consider the circumstances since the product did not work as advertised for me.
The response I received was disappointing. Rather than addressing my request for a management review or offering any flexibility, they simply repeated their return policy and suggested removing some of the foam to adjust the pillow’s height. My request for escalation was never acknowledged.
I understand that companies have return policies, but I also believe customer service should take individual situations into account, especially for products sold as therapeutic or pain-relief solutions. A willingness to stand behind a product and work toward a fair resolution goes a long way.
While others may have a different experience with the pillow, my experience with both the product and the lack of flexibility from customer service was disappointing, and I cannot recommend purchasing it if you’re concerned about being stuck with an expensive product that doesn’t work for you.

Great pillows for my shoulders and back pain!

This product may help some people, but the company’s return policy is designed to get you to give up and throw out their expensive pillow so they can pocket your cash.

I got the Madeline pillow for acid reflux, and while it may help some, it was a terrible experience. It was hot, awkward, uncomfortable on my neck and legitimately painful on my hips. I am a finicky sleeper, but decided it would be worth trying since they have a 60-night sleep trial return guarantee. I should have read the fine print.

In order to return the product, you must consult with their sleep specialists and try the product for a total of 30 nights. This is an unreasonable ask when I knew after one this would never help me. I now need to either eat the very expensive cost or torture myself with their awful product for the next month while talking to their overly-chipper sleep team trying to help me by asking if I set the simple thing up correctly. Awful and patronizing.

This is the kind of business model set by company’s who do not believe in their product. They know many customers simply won’t go through the trouble of returning it.

I thought I ordered the Medcline wedge that was pictured. What I received was covers for the wedge. They will not take a return because I opened it to see what it was. Stay away. Scam artist. If is not the wedge you are receiving then why show it as the product in the description. They do not picture a cover.

This system has fixed all my issues, no more arm and shoulder pain, fixed the sliding the other system was having and works great all night

I got the cooling pillow case for the swan pillow.

I have told multiple people this but this pillowcase is like magic. It stays pretty cold, and even if I lay on it for a little while, I can move and then come back to the space that I was in a few minutes and it's back to being cold. This was my saving grace when my AC went out. I cannot be more grateful for this pillowcase.

Having purchased a shoulder relief system, I am very disappointed in the results. Offered no comfort at all for me. Tried every night, tried to be consistent, only to wake up in the middle of the night to remove everything and go back to my old pillow. Basically can't sleep all night on it. My should doesn't feel any better. For the price paid, it is not worth it. Just a glorified pillow with some extra leg support. Found it quite hot, the back elevation is extremely uncomfortable. Obviously (as per their rules) cannot send it back, as opened and used, but you live and learn I suppose. Lots of money thrown out the window with this one. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I decided to buy this product from MedCline and the results are so far awesome and very comfortable, with a problems on shoulder and the sciatica nerve in my back and leg, I found relief and feel more comfortable with this kind of pillow, really fantastic that every one have to make effort to buy and use.

Used for an athlete in our family. She loves it!

Had Esophageal Cancer and Ivorian-Lewis 3 years ago and battled reflux constantly. I am focused on following the eating rules and that combined with PPI medication and the pillows and wedge am finally getting some solid sleep. Only complaint are the pillow cases. White is plain stupid and the gray ones cost almost as much as the pillows. Kind of a rip off.

The wedge works well, but I still have symptoms in the morning. The tube pillow was too firm so I took out some foam. Then more foam. It still was too firm with half the amount so I put my hulled buckwheat pillow on the wedge and that seems to be working.

I added the MedCline pillow as part of my treatment for my left shoulder and noticed significant improvement in a matter of days. I had been doing physical therapy for months with only minimal improvement. I wish I had purchased the MedCline sooner because it helps me sleep and wake up without persistent shoulder pain. I believe that it helps recovery while you are sleeping in addition to taking pressure off of your shoulders.

I will preface my review by saying it took me a few weeks to get this system “dialed in” for me and also to get used to sleeping on it. With that being said once I had it right for me I bought a second one to have in reserve and to also take with me when I travel. I had to pull a lot of stuffing out of the head portion of the body pillow and learn how to turn side to side but this all pales in comparison to how much better your shoulders will feel if you’re a side sleeper. This system also stopped both of my arms from falling asleep and waking me up multiple times night. I do wish there were compartments in the body pillow to section off the head part from the leg parts. When you pull the stuffing out it tends to travel back into the areas you removed the stuffing from but after a little while it stays just right. I also wish there were a more “grippy” bottom to keep it from pushing up toward your headboard while you sleep all night but these are minor details. I can’t recommmed this enough. I am a chiropractor and recommend it to my patients on a weekly basis. A well thought out and wonderfully engineered system that is the only thing that’s ever actually worked. I have tried it all. This is this only one you should buy.
