MEDICZECH - OB klinika, OB Care Reviews 

Ich wurde bereits fünfmal in der OB Klinik behandelt und bin jedes Mal sehr zufrieden gewesen. Deshalb möchte ich meine positiven Erfahrungen gerne teilen.
Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Frau Jana Frantlova, die deutschsprachige Klienten von A bis Z betreut. Sie ist stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuverlässig. Dank ihrer Unterstützung habe ich mich jederzeit gut aufgehoben gefühlt.
Auch dem gesamten Team der OB Klinik gebührt ein großes Lob. Die Mitarbeiter sind nicht nur hochprofessionell, sondern begegnen den Patienten auch mit viel Menschlichkeit und Einfühlungsvermögen.
Ich habe mich in der OB Klinik immer sehr gut betreut gefühlt und kann sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

From start to finish it was nothing short of perfect! I got a full abdominalplasty, liposuction and upper blepheroplasty and the results have exceeded my expectations. I honestly can't praise everyone high enough. I am 10 days post op and my scar already looks phenomenal, its so neat! For the first time in years I look in the mirror and feel happy and like what I see. The clinic was spotless, all the staff were amazing - from the hospital staff, the cooks (I really enjoyed the hospital food and especially loved the soup) to the surgical staff, and of course Tereza, who is the most lovely person ever. I honestly can't thank Dr Skala and his team enough - they have gave me new lease of life. They have not only helped me physically but mentally too, which most women who hate their body can probably relate to. Now I feel like I am learning to love myself again. I'd also love to mention that Prague is probably the most beautiful city I've ever been to and was sad when it was time to leave, however, I plan to return next year for more surgery so will look forward to seeing the beautiful city and people again! 🥰🥰

I have visited Mediczech twice now both for Breast Augmentation operations over a period of 10 years. Each time i have visited, the care and results are second to none. From the initial consultation, through to the expansive customer support prior to arriving (you are very well informed throughout by Tina. If you take the "All In" package everything is arranged for you from the taxis to and from the airport as well as the accomadation.

Regarding the accommodation i have tried both the hotel and apartment option and i would say if the apartments are available then take that over a hotel.

The apartment is very spacious and well appointed with a balcony to chill out on as well as cooking facilities. It was the perfect location to relax and the furniture very well chosen for those who have just had an operation as they are easy to get onto and out of something that was missing in the hotel on my first visit.

The other benefit of staying in the apartments is that they are located on the clinic grounds, so on the day of the operation it is one quick elevator ride down to their reception.

On my most recent visit the team at Mediczech were excellent all round, Tina and Theresa walk you through the process and translate to English where required, Theresa has a bubbly personality and puts you at ease instantly.

The consultancy with the surgeon never feels rushed and whilst he will take onboard what you desire as an outcome he is also realistic with you and will advise on his recommendations as well to avoid results that are less than stellar. He has perfected my ops on both occasions so his results speak for themselves in my opinion

I will say on my last visit the only time i felt a little nervous was when i had interaction with this anaesthetist, i will pre advise this in advance that she did an excellent job as i am here typing this and it must be a stressful job after all they are doing their best to keep you breathing so i have full respect for her professionalism, however she did come across rather abrupt which when you are lying on an operating trolley is quite an experience.She thought i was chewing gum, which i was not sure where that came from as i haven't eaten gum in decades and secondly i would not eat before an op especially whilst on the table!. The care nurse looked a little nervous as well and i showed her my mouth was empty so we moved on anyway after that she was lovely and very professional before she put me to sleep.

But that small interaction did not change my opinion at all that overall the whole team are excellent i feel if you are going to write a review be honest with the overall experience and again i understand the pressures she is under when your life is literally in their hands so it did not sour my experince at all.

I would also like to shout out the unsung heroes and that is the after care nurse, unfortunately i cannot remember her name but the young blonde nurse was phenomenal, throughout the aftercare whilst in the bedroom after the operation she was professional and attentive. In the UK you are lucky if you see a nurse once throughout the night, but she seemed to always be there when the drip needed changing or the drainage bottles needed changing. She was so polite and professional it really made the experince for me.

Anyways if you are from the UK and considering going abroad ignore the endless scare stories, The team @ Mediczech excel at what they all do, you will feel well cared for with your interests put first. I can only confirm my experience and that both times what the surgeon had achieved went beyound my expectation.

And lastly the price beats anything you could achieve in the UK with in my opinion the best level of care you could ever want to receive.

I would not go anywhere else myself and already plan to return next year.

My experience having cosmetic surgery at MediCzech, OB Care Clinic in Prague was excellent from start to finish. From my initial enquiry and consultation, through to discharge, every question or concern I had was answered within hours—often within minutes—by my coordinator, Tereza. She was incredibly caring, supportive, and professional throughout the entire process, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better level of customer service. Everything was handled perfectly, and I felt well looked after every step of the way.

My tummy tuck procedure was performed by Dr. Skala, who has done an incredible job and truly helped me feel confident in my skin again. At 61, I never imagined I could feel this good about myself, so it honestly feels like he’s worked a little miracle!

From start to finish the whole experience of patient care and surgery has been exceptional. I have returned several times, ive been so happy with the results.

I had a breast reduction and uplift with Dr Skala and I can’t explain how happy I am with the results - it’s literally been life changing. The team are amazing at their jobs. Tereza has been incredible from my first enquiry to post surgery. I stayed in a lovely hotel during my stay, and when I was concerned about post operative pain, Tereza arranged for a car to come and pick me up straight away so I could see Dr Skala who prescribed stronger pain relief. Any queries I’ve had since getting back to the UK, Tereza has got back to me straight away with detailed advice and information. The only regret I have is not having a tummy tuck at the same time! I had upper blepharoplasty at Mediczech Clinic in Prague on 24th July 2025. Tereza Hola, the clinic manager, co-ordinated my procedure. Tereza was amazing, so helpful and friendly and put me at ease straight away. She answered all my questions and made me feel much more relaxed and on the day of my procedure she was with me right up until I was taken through to the operating room. She was extremely professional throughout and so patient and caring. She is big asset to Mediczech as her English is perfect and she has an amazing, caring way with her that immediately makes you feel more comfortable and relaxed. Dr Knize carried out my procedure and he was extremely kind and patient and did an excellent job. My eyes healed very quickly with no scarring at all. I highly recommend this clinic.

Tereza was so helpful and so friendly and kept in touch the whole time even after the surgery. I had my lip reshaped as I was born with a cleft lip and wanted it to look more even. He did a great job!
The hospital was fantastic very nice staff would definitely recommend!

I had a breast reduction & uplift at the age of 64 & can honestly say it’s the best decision I have made. Dr Skala did a great job & I love the results.
I had very little pain & thought it would be much harder but I sailed through it.
Sleeping on my back was probably the hardest part of it but it was only for about 6 weeks.
I feel so much better in myself & my clothes fit. I can now wear fabulous underwear & have much more confidence in myself.

I got my BA with Dr Skala. I am extremely happy with the results and care received throughout the whole process. I was very skeptical about flying to another country for such procedure but Tereza was an absolute star and everything is planned out in detail for you from start to finish. This is the first cosmetic procedure I have ever had and it is not something I took on lightly.
Everything was extremely smooth from beginning to the end. My special thanks to Tereza Hola who supported me through all this process, she’s amazing lady, very kind and professional.
From the moment I arrived everything was slick. Transport. Accommodation. The messages. The care. The whole experience was seamless.

I had surgery last month with Dr Skala upon recommendation from 2 other ladies who had undergone surgery with him for breast implant explantation.

The communication with Kristyna (the coordinator) was always very pleasant and helpful. I can’t fault her nor Tereza (who met me at the clinic for my pre-op tests at all). They were both lovely and spoke perfect English.

I had agreed (and paid for) explanation with capsulectomy with Mr Skala and believed he would do a good job of removing anything potentially harmful, as well as do his best to ensure what was left would be aesthetically pleasing.

The next morning after surgery when he came to remove my bandages I was horrified- he had butchered my breasts! My left one has many indentations and a total loss of breast tissue (breast tissue that was there prior to ever having implants) and I assume it was due to accidentally removing breast tissue during surgery .
My right breast was extremely bruised and swollen (right down my ribs too!) and the drain was removed too soon, so I ended up with a seroma also.

The aftercare when travelling to another country for surgery was basically none existent.
I can’t get a clear answer from him about what exactly he did during surgery and why my breasts are so deformed.
Every other surgeon in the UK I have consulted with since tells me that the 55 minutes I was in having surgery with Mr Skala (as noted by him) was far too short a time to do a good job of such a procedure. It seems he is inexperienced in this kind of surgery and maybe rushed mine as I was his 3rd surgery of the day!

I am left looking deformed and having to look at paying a UK surgeon more money to reconstruct my breasts.

I would warn anybody that the price may seem appealing, but if it seems too good to be true- it probably is!

Tereza and Doctor Skala were incredible. The service was 10/10. I had been thinking about getting breast implants for years and I decided to go with MediCzech after reading the reviews online about Dr Skala. I knew I was in good hands from my first emails and I love my new breasts.

Very good experience overall. I was met at the airport and brought to my hotel in the old town. Next morning I was collected and brought to the clinic. The procedure was done with the best professionalism and I encountered no pain or discomfort at the clinic. For a day or two afterwards, I had spells of nausea and waited mainly in my hotel. U followed instructions carefully and used the nausea tablets that were given to me. Three months on and I have lost weight and don't have the tendencies that I had previously to overeat or eat junk food. I was also given some very nice booklets with pictures on what to eat and what to avoid. I have more energy and a new lease of life. I'm very grateful to this clinic. They provide excellent treatment.

Had a tummy tuck October 2023 my surgery was amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr Skala is so attentive and Tereza is amazing any little concerns you may have she is there to reassure you. I'm going back for a neck lift and will let you know about the amazing results that I will have. Highly recommend this clinic and surgeon.

It was my second time going to this clinic. The first time was 10 years ago I did liposuction and this year April 2025 I went for breastlift and silicone I am very pleased with the results. Its not healed yet but im happy. The scars are healing nicely.

From the first message enquiring about my surgery, until the day I’ve come home, has been nothing short of excellent. Tereza is very professional, polite, informative and answered my 1 million questions… we stayed at the apartment within the clinic and it was perfect. On arrival at Prague, we were welcomed, promptly, by our driver, and driven directly to our apartment. There are plenty of amenities within walking distance and for anything else, we used bolt. On the day of surgery, I was welcomed by the staff at the clinic, Tereza was as lovely as always, very clear in explaining what was going to happen and I was made very comfortable and then I met Dr Skala. I was so nervous, but put at ease by his friendly manner. He spoke through the plan of action, welcomed questions and then I had the premeds. I was taken to my room until the anaesthetist was ready. Once again they spoke through everything and ensured I was comfortable. When I woke up, yes I was in pain, but the staff were so attentive and gave me everything I needed. My observations were frequent and they really did everything to help me. By the next day I was ready to go back to the apartment. I’m 5 days post op and honestly the scars are so neat. I’m overjoyed at how I’m looking so far. I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr Skala and his team. Trust them, they are brilliant. This was my first experience of cosmetic surgery and I am planning to return following a full recovery.

Hatte von Anfang an das Gefühl gut aufgehoben zu sein. Frau Frantlová beantwortet einem jede Frage und erkundigte sich auch 2 Wochen nach dem Magenballon nach mir.

Das Einzige, was mir fehlte (meckern auf hohem Niveau) war nochmal eine ausführliche Ernährungsberatung - vor allem für die ersten Tage. Dies wurde kurz vor dem Eingriff nur schnell durchgesprochen. Eine Broschüre o.ä. wäre schöner gewesen, da ich doch sehr aufgeregt war und alles nur schnell hinter mich bringen wollte :)

Ansonsten bin ich voll und ganz zufrieden!

Very dangerous and unprofessional experience

I had a gastric balloon procedure at Mediczech in Prague a few months ago. After the procedure, I experienced severe pain, and despite sending several emails, I received almost no support. Eventually, a translator replied, saying she was sick and not working, and later told me that my pain was “normal.”

Ten days later, I started vomiting blood and had to go to the emergency department in Germany. The doctors there diagnosed that the balloon was too large for my stomach, causing internal injury. It had to be urgently removed under anesthesia, which took two attempts because of the size.

When I informed Mediczech that they had inserted the wrong size balloon, they refused responsibility and said it was not their fault.

This was an extremely dangerous and traumatic experience. I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone. Patient safety and proper care should be the first priority, but unfortunately, I did not experience that here.
