Highly Recommend! Great service and reliable!
Working with Trevor and Erica was a breeze. They were both very responsive and knowledgeable about the process. When you are looking for an auto transport, you will get overwhelmed with the myriad of texts, emails, phone calls, etc. People will promise a low, low price but want up-front deposits and change their price once you really dig into the cost. Trevor and Erica took the reins and quickly found me a reputable, reliable auto transport. It took a lot of stress off of me. So, paying a broker's fee (which to me was reasonable) to avoid dealing with numerous transport companies was well worth it. I would highly recommend Mercury Auto Transport for all of your shipping needs, and I will use again if the situation arises.

Mercury Auto Transport is a totally irresponsible company with hidden costs. When you find out, they will insult you and arrogantly want to cancel your order. They have no control over the subcontractors who do the actual work, and of course when the problem happens, they immediately come up with a $250 agent fee refund, thinking they can get away with it. Which is ridiculous and confirms their completely irresponsible behavior in the market. I am looking for more victims who we can both contact a lawyer with! I do not recommend them to anyone!

We’re sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with your experience, but we would like to clarify a few important points.
There were no hidden fees involved in your transport. As explained via email and other communications, all quotes are estimates, not guaranteed prices. This is standard across the auto transport industry and is clearly disclosed in our process. Final pricing is determined by real-time market conditions such as supply and demand.
Your agent worked to secure the most competitive rate available at the time. When a higher offer came in from a qualified, vetted carrier, your agent presented it to you, and you agreed to it. In fact, when your agent offered to cancel the order, you replied, “Just calm down, I accept $800.” You later informed your agent that you couldn’t pay the driver in cash, which required us to charge your credit card instead. That added a $40 processing fee, bringing the total to $840. Your agent even offered alternatives like Zelle or Venmo to help you avoid that charge, and you approved the $840 before we finalized the booking. There were no surprises—you knew and accepted the full, guaranteed rate prior to placing your deposit.
As a broker, we work only with carriers who are properly vetted to meet FMCSA and DOT requirements, including insurance, licensing, and safety records. After the vehicle was delivered, you mentioned an issue involving a screw inside the car. However, this was never reported to the driver or to us at pickup or delivery, and there was no notation on the Bill of Lading. Shippers are responsible for securing all loose items inside the vehicle, and any concerns must be addressed at the time of delivery.
That said, while we were under no obligation to issue any refund, we chose to refund our $250 agent fee as a gesture of goodwill—understanding there was a disagreement about a screw was reported after delivery, even though it was not told to the driver or your agent prior to pickup or drop-off. Our goal was simply to help you potentially resolve the matter without further frustration.

Great car shipping experience
Great car shipping experience! Shawn Abernathy was great from getting us a quick quote, communicating the process along the way with daily updates as we waited for a carrier to be selected, and even accommodated a last minute pickup location change. Great company and exceptional customer service throughout! And the car showed up earlier than expected (shipped from OR to NY) with great communication from the over the road carrier. Very pleased and would definitely consider Mercury Auto again if needed in the future!

Do not recommend working with Mercury
I won’t go into all the details, but if clear communication and responsiveness are important to you, I recommend working with a different company for your own peace of mind. During the process, I discovered that my number had been blocked after asking for better responsiveness/communication, which led me to cancel and switch to another provider.
Customers can accept that delays can happen, but what is unacceptable and causes real frustration, anxiety, and disappointment is being ignored or treated poorly. Agents have a responsibility to proactively provide updates without waiting for customers to ask. I sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously and use it to make meaningful improvements.

Smooth Transportation with Mercury
Mercury Auto Transport was great. They linked me with Dana Auto Transport who transported my car from southern CA to upstate NY for $2000. They gave me an estimate over the phone, and they matched that estimate exactly. Jeremi Wilson was available over the phone if I had any questions or concerns. Mercury took 30% upfront and I was able to easily Zelle the transport company the remaining 70% after drop off. Thank you!

Agent Was Good. Driver Was Impatient.
The agent at Mercury Auto Transport was great in handling details of my car shipment for the most part and made the process fairly easy. When signing documents for confirmation there was quite a bit of impatience. Kept me updated every few days in the 2 weeks it took to confirm a driver and drop off my car. The driver himself was an impatient guy, especially at delivery time. He kept changing the time of delivery on day of delivery at the last minute and expected us (family and I) to be flexible. What if we were busy and couldn't easily adjust to last minute time changes?? He said if we didn't meet him he would just leave the car and hide the key in a really weird place. So unprofessional and NOT mentioned in the contract. He was pretty rude and unwilling to be flexible. The car itself arrived safely but the interactions towards the end were stressful.

The comment about leaving the vehicle and hiding the key without your agreement is completely unacceptable and not part of our standard practices. We expect all of our carrier partners to maintain a high level of professionalism, and we take reports like this seriously.

Good experience once a driver was located and I could talk to him.
The car was delivered in great shape, driver was on time for the delivery but he did have some problems on the way to the pickup, he was 1-2 days delayed in pickup but other than that the experience was very good. If you have more days in your pickup window, you will have the best experience but if you need your car picked up on an exact day and time you may be disappointed?
