Systemic dysfunction

Just one problem after another. Unmailed debit cards, mis-entered addresses. For the two years I had an account with them I would say there was a problem every 3 months. The phone support would send me to the branch, the branch wouldn't know what to do or in most cases react indifferently. Really, really, really poor customer service bordering on contempt. Incompetence made it's appearance as well. Unfortunately this type of systemic dysfunction always begins at the top.

Sempre que preciso fazer um depósito

Sempre que preciso fazer um depósito, tenho que fazer muitos quilómetros como hoje (Leça de Palmeira, Jumbo Maia, Maia e nenhuma caixa deixa fazer depósitos ou levantamentos mesmo na tal caixa que vocês dizem que é como no balcão. Vocês são sem dúvida o pior Banco Português.
Espero que as pessoas mudem de Banco, São uma vergonha.

Of course 1 star. You steal 15€ from me just to keep money in your bank just so i can be able to pay rent, food, tax... You removed my bank assistant without any notice and i now must drive to Covilha to get answers for my questions. Also your app sucks, too complicated and its asking for my pin after a week, annoying, as if someone hacked my phone to do this useless feature. I cant reccomend any other bank, the system just needs to fall already.
They also send me spam newsletters to my email i didnt agree with.

Decepcionada

Fui cliente Millennium durante vários anos, mas, infelizmente, estou super insatisfeita com o facto de me bloquearem a conta repentinamente por ter feito uma transferência acima do valor normal. Não sabia que os bancos agora podiam bloquear as nossas contas.
Desapontada.

Péssima experiência com este banco...
Crédito para habitação aprovado, seguro e avaliador pagos, adiamento e desculpas várias, definição de momento para a escritura...nada. A mais frequente tem sido "ainda terem dificuldades de comunicação, devido aos efeitos dos eventos climáticos..."
Experiência anterior de falsificação da minha assinatura na realização de um crédito que nunca pedi.
Emissão de documentos falsos, pelo menos duas vezes, referindo montantes que não existiam na minha conta...
Escolha de empresas de cobrança de dívidas, altamente duvidosas na forma de abordagem ao devedor.
Por exemplo foram-me penhorados valores de cerca de 40 mil euros face a uma dívida de 21 mil euros...para quê, quem ficou a ganhar com este comportamento bárbaro...
Não será de excluir a possibilidade de um " caldinho" entre o banco e a empresa contratada para executar a penhora !!!
É vergonhoso... destroem a dignidade de qualquer ser humano.

Probably the worst bank in Portugal

Probably the worst bank in Portugal. Consideration and respect zero for clients. Not honest. They do everything to protect their staff errors even if the client is seriously damaged. I have been a client of this bank for many years as a "Prestige Client" but I have been treated so badly that I am moving everything to another bank. This bank is not serious.

This Bank has a serious problem on…

This Bank has a serious problem on dealing with foreign Clients. Once the regular KYC come up, they simple refuse to entertain any requests for the updating of documentation other than through the App - emails are not replied and even approaches at the counters are brushed aside. And its staff just wants you to go around in circles and will not care less if your problem remains unsolved.

Eu estava esperando em uma estação de trem secundária quase vazia, enfrentando atrasos constantes e um sinal de celular muito instável. Para passar o tempo, abri o aplicativo do meu banco e comecei a navegar por opções de investimento; foi assim que encontrei essa corretora e, por meio da plataforma, transferi € 21.900. Depois de alguns dias, vendo que o saldo apresentava ganhos contínuos, adicionei mais € 17.600. Quando solicitei um saque, começaram as desculpas: primeiro, pediram comprovante de emprego, depois extratos bancários e, por fim, um suposto "depósito regulatório" de 24% do total. Depois de efetuar esse pagamento também, no dia seguinte a plataforma parou de funcionar e o site ficou completamente inacessível. Fiz uma denúncia à polícia local, mas o caso foi arquivado porque envolvia uma empresa registrada fora do país. A agência internacional 𝒵𝚍𝚃ℛℯ assumiu o caso e, após várias semanas de monitoramento e negociações, conseguiu que € 46.300 fossem reembolsados ​​para minha conta.

O Millennium bcp

O Millennium bcp, bloqueou me mais de 90 mil euros a mais de 4 meses, na minha empresa, dinheiro esse da empresa, e já fiz queixa em vários setores e orgãos sociais e ninguém me responde. A resposta do meu gerente diz não saber de nada que a complainse é que sabe e ainda não disse nada. E ainda me alteram o meu contato pessoal para não poder acessar a conta bancaria. Acham isto normal?

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the handling of my recent international fund transfer. The process has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue over the past two weeks, I have spent more than 30 minutes on the phone each day without any meaningful progress. The assistance provided by their staff has been wholly inadequate, and their inability to resolve the matter has resulted in unnecessary delays and escalating costs, including significant increases to my phone bill.
This level of service is unacceptable and I advise anyone to seek another bank

Alors que je consultais tranquillement les devis de réparation en fin de journée

Alors que je consultais tranquillement les devis de réparation en fin de journée, j'ai ouvert un compte sur la plateforme d'un courtier et effectué un premier dépôt de 62 518 €, suivi deux semaines plus tard d'un second dépôt de 69 433 € depuis un autre compte d'épargne. Peu après avoir demandé un retrait à la mi-septembre, l'accès à mon compte a été soudainement bloqué. Malgré mes tentatives répétées pour vérifier mon identité, le service client est resté injoignable. Par la suite, un message est apparu, exigeant le paiement de 33 176 € pour de prétendus frais de déblocage, présentés comme une condition pour libérer les fonds. Le lendemain matin, je me suis rendu au commissariat, où j'ai remis les relevés de communication imprimés, tandis qu'un agent prenait note des faits. Quelques jours plus tard, après avoir rassemblé les confirmations des transactions, j'ai déposé une plainte officielle. Le temps passant sans aucune avancée concrète, j'ai ressenti une anxiété, une frustration et une peur croissantes. Face à l'absence de réponses concrètes, j'ai été contraint de poursuivre la procédure judiciaire, alors même que l'enquête ne faisait que commencer.

Malgré le stress et l'incertitude, j'ai également déposé une réclamation détaillée auprès de 𝗧𝗥𝟴𝗗.𝗖𝗖 par le biais d'une procédure administrative distincte. Grâce à leur intervention, le remboursement a finalement été traité en quelques semaines, mettant ainsi fin à une expérience qui m'avait causé une grande inquiétude et une profonde détresse émotionnelle.

Initiated the PARI process for a loan…

Initiated the PARI process for a loan I'm struggling to pay after 8 months of unemployment.
Submitted all the relevant docs at my local branch, roughly a week passed and I got a message from PARI saying I hadn't submitted required information.

Went back to the branch to resolve the situation, branch didn't understand what happened and I was assured the situation would be resolved.

Long story short the bank withdrew the little I had left on Christmas eve to cover the loan.

Merry Christmas!

App de péssimo funcionamento, para ser ruim tem que melhorar muito! Tenho conta poupança que não consigo acessar opção geri conta, de 100 tentativas para abrir consigo 1. No banco tive péssimas experiência!!!

Coelho Silva at the Portimão Prestige branch, a breath of fresh air!

We moved to the Algarve in Portugal in May of this year (2025). Our solicitor put us in contact with Sonia Coelho Silva at the Portimão Prestige branch, and from our first conversation to today, her support has been excellent, far surpassing anything I've witnessed personally or in business during my long career in the UK. I find the Millennium app very easy to use, and if I'm not sure of anything, Sonia is always so quick to answer. In a world that usually requires you to be interrogated by an AI-powered virtual assistant, it's so refreshing to get straight through to an extremely likeable real person! More importantly, when my personal money is involved, I get good, sound professional advice, and quickly.

Never work with this bank ever!

Worst bank ever. Useless. The account opening is the worst process I have ever experienced. The bank control over the account is ridiculous. The app is beyond outdated. Similar to other reviews, I hope it goes bankrupt.

I have received a wonderful service.

I was nicely treated throughout the time. The staff seemed very friendly. The person who helped me with the process, named Bruno Santos, was super friendly and patient. I got my account open in just 2/3 hours.
