Overall very smooth and excellent service. We had a Level 3 survey from Max for an older property. Max took the time to call me and go through all the points in detail. I had follow up questions which were answered immediately and clearly. Great value for money compared to other surveyors, included costings as well.

Overall the process went extremely smoothly. Good communication throughout and a great quality report at the end of the process. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a RICS level 2 survey.

Before emailing the survey report to me Max phoned to go through the important points. After I received and read the survey I spoke again to Max to discuss implications and options, which gave me a much better ability to put any potential issues into context. Max said to call again if I had any further questions or concerns. It is great to know you are getting follow up support. The emailed report was extremely comprehensive and included a large number of photos of difficult places to see i.e. roof and chimneys. (I am not convinced that using AI to prepare the wording adds any value though; not as personal as the phone calls). Before going to MJD I booked a survey with a much larger firm, who badly let me down by not bothering to carry out the survey. I definitely chose well with using MJD for the personal approach of a family run business, which did not cost more.

We had a level 3 rics survey undertaken. The report was extremely thorough and we had an on the day update via phone from the surveyor too. Additional questions could be asked via email or phone and responses were very prompt. Excellent value for money.

We recently instructed Max to carry out a Level 3 Building Survey, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. The report was extremely thorough, detailed, and easy to understand, giving us real confidence in our decision making.

Before choosing Max, I had actually obtained several quotes, including from some of the larger, well known agencies. However, after reviewing sample reports, Max’s stood out for its depth and clarity, and I’m really glad we decided to go with him.

What really impressed me was how generous Max was with his time. He walked us through his findings on a phone call after the inspection, and then took the time again on a follow up call to answer further questions we had. Nothing felt rushed, and he was incredibly patient and clear throughout.

Would definitely recommend MJD for your home survey. We had a level 2 survey completed by Max. Communication throughout was great. Very easy to book online, they took care of the rest. Max phoned straight after the survey was completed to provide an early feedback. A full report was then produced which was very detailed and easy to understand. Highly recommended.

Communication was excellent throughout, and the report itself was incredibly detailed with lots of very clear photos to support the findings. It was thorough but also easy to understand, which made a big difference during what can be a stressful process.
Max phoned me personally on the day of the survey to provide a verbal summary, which I really appreciated. It gave me an immediate overview of any key issues and reassurance before the full report arrived. He was also more than happy to answer follow-up questions by email a few weeks later, which shows a real commitment to client care.
On top of that, they were very competitive on price for a Level 3 survey. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, responsive, and thorough surveying service.

Max & his team are 2nd to none. Max called me on the day of the survey & spent over an hour on the phone going over what he & the team found at the property. They then came back with an incredibly detailed report that helped us identify what was in urgent need of action & care for the house we were trying to obtain - they have helped us dodge a huge bullet, as Max suggested after the phone that its best to go to contractors with his findings and discover the prices. They not only agreed with MJD's assessment they also opened our eyes on what was ahead of us with regards to the purchase.

Would recommend MJD to friends, family & anyone reading this, they don't waste time/mess you around with anything and only want to help and answer every question you have. Unreal service at a fantastic price, compared to other's we were quoted by - safe to say we made the right choice.

Max was helpful, friendly and professional. Report was sent out in good time and then explained in detail over a follow up phone call. Competitively priced, especially considering the quality of service.

We had a really good experience from start to finish with MJD and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Getting the quote was quick and easy. They gave us the up front information we needed, and it was scheduled easily. On the evening of the survey I had a 45 minute call to talk through the results prior to receiving the report, which gave me the chance to ask questions - and all responses were clearly of someone with great experience, so we are very happy. The report was also very comprehensive and must’ve taken a lot of effort to pull together!

We’re very happy indeed, and whilst we don’t want to move again any time soon, if we do I’d ask MJD for their help again.
