Max & his team are 2nd to none. Max called me on the day of the survey & spent over an hour on the phone going over what he & the team found at the property. They then came back with an incredibly detailed report that helped us identify what was in urgent need of action & care for the house we were trying to obtain - they have helped us dodge a huge bullet, as Max suggested after the phone that its best to go to contractors with his findings and discover the prices. They not only agreed with MJD's assessment they also opened our eyes on what was ahead of us with regards to the purchase.

Would recommend MJD to friends, family & anyone reading this, they don't waste time/mess you around with anything and only want to help and answer every question you have. Unreal service at a fantastic price, compared to other's we were quoted by - safe to say we made the right choice.

We had a really good experience from start to finish with MJD and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Getting the quote was quick and easy. They gave us the up front information we needed, and it was scheduled easily. On the evening of the survey I had a 45 minute call to talk through the results prior to receiving the report, which gave me the chance to ask questions - and all responses were clearly of someone with great experience, so we are very happy. The report was also very comprehensive and must’ve taken a lot of effort to pull together!

We’re very happy indeed, and whilst we don’t want to move again any time soon, if we do I’d ask MJD for their help again.

Very full survey report of a old house in Oxfordshire with lots of explanations and photographs meaning we are going into our house purchase with our eyes open and knowing what we need to spend time and money on in the next few years. Don't worry about them not having a drone to take photos - the photos from a camera on a long stick (I'm sure it is more sophisticated than that) show us exactly what needs to be done on the chimney stack of a two storey house.

Great experience! The automated platform means that onboarding and initial setup / payment are seamless and quick. Max called the day he completed the survey to provide a summary, and followed up a week later with the full report (5-business days). We specifically selected MJD because of their vast use of pictures throughout the report, which we found uncommon in other sample reports we'd obtained during initial quotes. The extra photos were helpful, as we were able to cross-reference with the report findings.

The survey was done quickly and with consideration to the neighbours and people living at the property.
The survey was thorough, detailed with photo evidence.
The report was easy to read. Structured in a logical format.
There were outcomes and suggestions, solutions with longevity for different problems discovered and reasons why the alternatives had been put forward; consideration for the property’s position and surrounding buildings.
The surveyor was willing to discuss at length the survey at a convenient time, answering questions that arose.

The team were quick to quote, addressed some specific questions I asked (unlike some competitors) and were reasonably priced against the other quotes I got (nearly the cheapest).
My surveyor took time to discuss my property upfront, which was important being a non-standard construction, and made me feel at ease that they were competent and professional.
