Bought a sink, waited a month, rung and was told this sink was now discontinued, asked for refund Monday and Thursday, no email no refund buyer beware, I will be taking this company to small claims court

Yes our sink was cheap buying from this website but it turned up without the fittngs needed to install.
When I contacted them they blamed it on their supplier. 1 week later I am still waiting for the suppliers fittings to arrive even though I have been promised next day delivery twice.
Needless to say I won’t be using them again. Ever.

Gosh and then you relied to this 3.5 years later! Amazing.

very very dodgy avoid these they advertise items very cheap specially appliances , when you actually go into these prices then they say OH DO YOU MEAN ONE OF THESE and then there price is higher then everyone in the market , avoid these con Artists

the poor reviews below seem to be from people who have had installations from Modern Living. I only made an online purchase and was very happy with the service I received. Ordered a Bath From Modern Living as they advertised the cheapest on-line price for the item I was looking for. I phoned before placing my online order to double check that it really was in stock. A very nice lady confirmed this and told me if I placed the order that day (Thursday) on-line, she would arrange to have it delivered the following Tuesday. As promised it arrived on time and in great condition. My fitters will install it next week, thanks Modern Living for great service.

The guy came out to measure up the kitchen and was very rude absolute disgusting apparently he cant work around or measure a kitchen with an unfinished shell when asked for advise he turned around and said "why are u paying for all that pipe work leave it where it is" in such arrogance, when sharing an idea with him the guy turned around and said "your buying a kitchen from me but ur looking elsewhere for kitchen units " why am i not allowed to look elsewhere?, overall disgusting customer service i do not recommend u use this firm at all with such disregard for customers and their opinions and values, if i had my own choice i wouldnt even give u one star your lucky you even got that!

Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. The people working at this place in Bradford are shockingly poor in how they conduct their business.
We had our kitchen measured told them exactly what we wanted. They constantly kept leaving us and going in a different room to get prices when we were in their showroom. At some points we had no idea what was going on. Why can they not have all the prices added to their computer systems?

Modern Living need to move with the times. On numerous occasions we told them we wanted 900mm wall units. On the day of the kitchen fitter arriving we noticed the wall units were not what we ordered. We phoned them the following morning and they totally denied that we had told them about the 900mm wall units.

The service we have received has been disgusting. I would warn anyone who does business with them make sure you get everything written down including all the measurements. They write things down on so many different note pads you have no idea what they are doing. We trusted them and they let us down badly.

We currently have only half a kitchen and no kitchen fitter.... the wall units have just arrived but still no fitter. Our house is being renovated and we have been like this for 2 weeks now. They made so many promises and then lied about everything. It got so bad I ended up shouting at them. They will smile and nod as if they are listening to you and then totally do the opposite.

I have never dealt with such a bunch of clowns as this company. We have children and a house that is full of wall units and nobody here to fit them. I was told this would be done today and then find out it's not happening.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. They have no communication skills, and call you liars when it's them who have totally messed up our kitchen. I just can not wait for this nightmare to be over. This company should come with a health warning!

I can tell you now that they will reply to my review and say it was our fault and they have done nothing wrong. We have had an utter nightmare with them. All they had to do was order a kitchen and fit it. We didn't ask for anything else. All we received was wrong units then had to wait another 10 days and then find out the fitter can not make it due to the weather.

Surely there are other fitters? I have travelled to Bradford and back with no issues and all the roads are fine. As I have stated above they will most likely reply that it was our fault. I would advise anyone that they get everything written down with all the measurements.
We also have to pay the kitchen fitter in cash which I find really odd. Never Again!!

Ordered a bath, took a while over Christmas but once delivery was confirmed, everything was fine. Nice bath too.

I purchased 4 kitchen appliances from this company. One appliance did not fit in my worktop. I asked to return it and purchase a different, more expensive appliance. The appliance had not been removed from its original packing - only the shrink wrap had been opened on one end of the box. I was told "NO" I could not exchange the appliance. I was disappointed with the company's lack of helpfulness and desire to reach a mutually agreeable solution.

I would like to thank you modern living for such a wonderfull buying experince and very helpful customer services. Comprehensive details of products and very competetive prices. They arranged the delivery at my convenient time and schedule.

Everything fine and delivery came when stated.

I bought a dishwasher from this company.The price was better than elsewhere,after the order i was contacted by the company to arrange a time for delivery.I had to alter the original date, which was an easy task.Delivery driver telephoned one hour before delivery,arrived at stated time and delivered item to my driveway.
Everything was as smooth as silk,all in all a stress free experience if only all companies were this good

Ordered single oven, was at very good price, and arrived a couple of days later. Delivery excellent, driver very helpful and professional. He called 10 mins before arrival.

Ordered a reflection sink on Monday pm. Arrived wednesday. Outstanding.

Rock bottom price. Swift order acknowledgement and follow-up phone call to arrange delivery - which arrived crack of dawn on day agreed.What more can you ask for?

I have never come across or used this website before but very pleased I did as the Franke tap that I purchased was at a better price and delivery was within a couple of days. Will definitely use again.

I ordered a Franke tap on a Tuesday morning ( it was out of stock, but would be in stock on the Thursday). I received the tap on the Friday morning. Perfect service and friendly person I spoke to.
